Yeti or Not: the “I want to believe” version

An announcement regarding the time this form will be open, data collection and result posting.

This form will be open until sunday, may 18th, 12 pm GMT time. Hopefully, this will give everyone who wants to fill out the form enough time. After this, you will not be able to submit a responce. I am doing this, because at some point I need to start collecting results and putting them together in comprehesible form, for you to see, and I would rather my data not change, while I am doing that.

! This deadline can change, and if you think it should be moved, please inform me in the comments or otherwise. !

Below I go into more details into how I plan to collect, sort and present the data.

I will post the results several days after the closing of the form, but no promises

There will be two big posts - one with complete data, showing every instance of every name, with a spredsheet attached. The spreadheet will be a "cleaner" version of the post with just the data, but without joke responces and my notes on alternative spellings. For those who find this overbearing (which I totally get) there will be a separate post with just the top 3 names per letter. I might make a third post with some fun statistics and personal opinions (like which letter got the most responces, which character got the highest number of votes overall, etc)

Regarding data collection:

Some people put titles as their responces and I am not sure how to handle that. I will post polls about them, asking you if I should count them as separate names or not, so look out for that if you are interested in voting. Even if the poll decides that something is a title and not a name, the responce still will be recorded, just maybe in a separate category.

If you submitted a joke responce that consisted of you giving descriptions to one character, or starting one name with all the letters, please don't be offended. I genuinly think you are funny and it's a great idea. I am not mad. It's just clarification for those who may be surprised by seeing "Asshole" for A and so on.

If a character is put in the wrong letter (ex. Lift for J and Galladon for O) I will count them toward their actual letters only if that person has not put any other character for that letter.

If a poll decides that a something should be counted as a name and not a title (ex. Daughter of House Davar), I will count it toward the letter it put under originally (D, in this case. I will not put it under Shallan even if the person meant that.

There are several entries that look like misspeled character names, but I, for the life of me, can't figure out what characters they were supposed to be. I will post that separately about those and hope you guys can help me figure it out.
