Being a bookstore owner of a small town, Edmund had rarely seen anything out of the ordinary. His routine of waking up, working at the bookstore, and coming back home often prevented him from witnessing such things. Not that he didn't want to, Edmund just enjoyed simple things like peace, quiet, and men. Well, okay, maybe simple isn't exactly how he'd described men, but he still rather enjoys them. He had been driving along the empty road across town back to his home, either side of it housed miles of corn fields. Dull and repetitive like much of the satyr's life. That is until he saw a bright flash of light in the middle of the tall stalks of corn.

He stops the car by the side of the road as he debates whether or not he should look for the source of the bright light. The satyr decides to walk into the cornfields. Edmund had found him amongst the middle of a corn field. Finding a stranger in the middle of the field should have been surprise enough, but the satyr couldn't help but notice he was naked as well. He moves closer to him, moving the stranger's shoulder in hopes he'd wake up.
