thank you @gali-la for tagging me!!
rules: post the names of the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! tag as many people as you have WIPs!
I did something similar recently but I'll post just titles and a short descriptor / a few tags instead
but because I've got so many, I'll only post the more recent ones that I actually plan on working on, all under the readmore
pretty much all but a few are one piece, the rest of my unfinished fics are abandoned
Hermitcraft
Yo, I Don't Know What To Say - was supposed to be for the hermitgang lyrics fic list last year, but I never finished and I feel so bad about it :((( an au where zedaph was left behind in s5 and it was wormman they took to s6 instead
One Piece
Kata\\Cora Arranged Marriage
Bye Dads! I'm Going On An Adventure - kata\\cora au where rosinante lives post minion island and law was raised by rosinante and katakuri and how it changes canon
Undercover - part of the Bye Dads! au, it's a prequel how katakuri met law and rosinante
Dad (yes that's the file name on google docs lmao) - part of the Bye Dads! au where law calls katakuri dad for the first time
02 newscoo - part of my hearts beloved fic verse where rosinante finds about law has been doing through the newscoo
Oceans Away (there are several files in the works but all one fic) - sh\\uggy fic, snapshots of shanks and buggy's life and how they manage a relationship throughout time
revolutionary!buggy (several files but all one fic) - snapshots through buggy's life as a revolutionary leader
soulmates kata\\cora au - katakuri and rosinante pov, soulmark where it's their name
childhood crush II - sequel to my childhood crush drabble
untitled paulie\\lucci - just canon except with paulie and lucci were dating
5 + 1 people discover kid\\killer
A Flamingo's Anger alive!rosinante - the marines fake rosinante's death to pull him back from undercover and doflamingo's pissed and resentful towards them
Alive Corazon Law & Corazon - rosinante lives and was found in dressrosa
In Life's Canon Universe - kata\\cora au dimension hopping where married!katakuri is forced into the canon verse
She's the captain, not me fem!kid\\killer - established relationship through life
soulmark kid\\killer - soulmate mark au where kid likes showing it off
untitled ace x past marco - time travel, set in oden flashback
Whitebeard's New Son buggy & whitebeard pirates - buggy feels unappreciated, joins the whitebeard pirates; roger's pissed, shanks is sad, buggy flourishes.
--------
I've got like so many more wips that I'm actively working and this isn't even everything but I'll spare you from seeing any more 😅
I'm not sure tag but if you want to do, feel free to tag me, I'd love to see it!

Okay, I was tagged but I don't think I got the notification, so sorry for being very late for asking for the WIP game, and as you're dipping in and out of tumblr and mostly writing on SK8, don't worry answering this if you don't have the impetus, but if you do of course I want to know about:
1. fuck it, the law and marco fic
wip file names
hey no worries! my brain has in fact been taken over by the skateboarding anime for the time being but i’m always down to talk about law and marco :3c
i’ve been really vague about it since i’m kind of not entirely sure where it’s headed?? but i basically just wanted to write canon verse marco & law (which like? it seems like they maybe exist in the same space in more recent canon which is cool? but i don’t actually Know). it’s all very self indulgent and i had the idea for a while but decided on impulse to actually start writing it, hence the title
the basic idea is a rescue mission, though i’m still deciding on what exactly caused the need for a rescue. it’s ~2.5k so far and progress is Slow but i’m happy to share the first part since i’ve been sitting on it for so long! keep in mind that it’s a draft so it may not all sound nice or make sense but i mean you can get the general idea-
Breakfast on the Polar Tang could only be described as chaotic. An even distribution of night owls and morning birds made for a wide variety of energies and a whole lot of bickering. Grouchy, overtired people didn’t mix well with the others who had willingly woken up hours prior.
Naturally, Law was in the former group, though he didn’t participate in the bickering. Sometimes, he’d diffuse arguments between members of his crew, but he’d mostly just listen in for entertainment purposes.
“Did you hear about the Whitebeards?”
Law perked up at the question and looked towards the source. Clione had spoken to Uni just a few seats down from Law.
“Yeah, with the Phoenix?” Uni asked. “That’s gotta suck real bad, losing track of your first mate.”
“What about the Phoenix?” Law interjected, causing both heads to turn and face him. The rest of the table’s chatter died down, curious to see what was important enough to grab their captain’s attention.
“Oh, uh… I heard he’s missing,” Clione said. “It was in the paper.”
“Missing?” Law echoed. “I didn’t see anything about that.”
“Today’s paper,” Uni said. “I snagged a copy when we surfaced earlier.” He reached across the table to snatch the newspaper from Shachi’s hands, earning a ‘Hey!’ before he set it down in front of Law. “Said they haven’t seen the guy in weeks.”
Law frowned before he set his fork down and picked up the paper. A few pages in-- he didn’t even make the headline-- there was a short article about Marco the Phoenix of the Whitebeard Pirates. Allegedly, he’d gone on a solo mission a few weeks prior and had yet to return. His crew claimed they hadn’t had any contact with him since he left.
“Bullshit,” Law decided as he dropped the paper back onto the table. “Whitebeard would never let something like this get out.”
“Then... why’s it right there?” Shachi asked, pointing to the photo from Marco’s wanted poster. “Kinda looks like he did let it get out, Captain.”
“It’s a bluff,” Law said. “It makes them look vulnerable. If rival crews see his most powerful man is MIA, they get a false sense of security. And that’s the perfect time for them to strike.” He took a sip of his coffee. “I do wonder what else he’s planning, though.”
“Hey, why haven’t we tried to take him on yet?” Penguin chimed in, already laughing at his own suggestion. “I bet you could at least take the Phoenix. You’d just have to slice off his wings.”
Law shook his head. “I don’t care about Whitebeard. We have other matters to attend to.” He looked down at the picture again, squinting at Marco’s half-transformed state. How did his powers work, exactly? “I wonder, if I did cut his wings off… would he be able to grow them back?”
“Whoa.” Penguin bounced in his seat. “You think so? By that logic, couldn’t you get, like, unlimited body parts from him?”
“He’d be useful for transplants,” Ikkaku chimed in from the other side of the table. She’d spoken into her coffee cup, as if she wasn’t addressing anyone in particular, but Law heard it perfectly.
“That’s a very good point,” Law replied. “A healthy donor who can regrow anything he gives up.”
Ikkaku chuckled. “Sounds like a surgeon’s dream.”
“And that poor guy’s nightmare,” Shachi added. “Captain, please don’t tell me you’re thinking about looking for him.”
Law shook his head. “Oh, no, I’m sure he’s perfectly safe with his crew, and Whitebeard is just spreading lies to throw people off,” he said. “The Phoenix would never join us, anyway. That crew is all about loyalty. I’m sure he’d sooner die for his captain than consider working under someone else.” He paused. “And forcing someone to join my crew against their will isn’t really my style.”
The table went silent. Everyone was staring at Law.
“...What?”
“Nothin’,” Shachi answered quickly. “But, hey, we’ll be sure to let you know if we see any giant flaming birds flying through the sky next time we surface.”

Original Character File under the cut
Mercutio J Southwood (Persona 4 Golden!Verse)
Nicknames: Marco (Romanized as Mako in Japanese) Ma-Chan (Teddie) The Boy Crazed Drag Queen of Inaba (Persona 4 Arena / Arena Ultimax Title).
Age: 16-17 over the course of the game (Born June 3rd, 1994)
Race: Mixed, Cherokee and White (which is Irish/German).
Height & Weight: 5′4 (162.56 cm) & 120 (54.4311 kg).
Gender: Nonbinary, prefers he/they pronouns. (Pronounced male at birth). Still somewhat identifies as a boy, but not always. They is primarily used when he is having a genderweird day.
Sexuality: Is not 100% sure, but he knows he prefers men and masc presenting people, so he just calls himself queer in that respect.
Arcana: The King of Wands, from the Minor Arcana.
Base Persona: Utaemon, the title of the Onna-Gata Kabuki actor Nakamura Utaemon VI.   Design shortly to come.
“Final” Base Persona: Ame-no-Uzume, the goddess of the dawn, revelry and dancing in Japanese myth.
“Golden” Final Persona: Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto, the “Heavenly Alarming Female”.
Element: Electric. Focuses on elemental attacks and healing others, vs Kanji being electric + mainly physical attacker.
Symbolism behind his base and final personas: As a generally feminine presenting nonbinary person, his base persona is basically a cross dressing man that specializes in female roles in Kabuki theater. (Read more about Onna-Gata in the link provided above if you have any questions.) It took a while for me to figure it out honestly. As a dramatic actor and lover of the arts, Marco takes to Japanese theater when he moves to Japan with his dad & step mom. Later on after his dungeon, he is more comfortable wearing / dressing how he wants, wearing cute girls clothes that match his moods.
Ame-no-Uzume is the goddess of dance, and considered a patron of the arts. She is also the goddess of bawdy revelry since she stripped naked on an overturned drum. For him it feels as if he’s bearing everything to his friends, and the world, in being who he is; luring those he feels like need to reveal themselves as well by being brave enough to be who he wants without worrying about how others perceive him. This also extends to the “Heavenly Alarming Female”, Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto.
Backstory:
Marco was born in a small town in Southern California to Geoffrey Southwood and his at the time girlfriend Laura Johnson. A “faerie child” by his family’s standards, he had a less than normal upbringing; his mother worked the Renaissance Fair when he was younger, and his father ended up becoming an electrical engineer when he was around six years old. His parents had split when he was 3, so he was at his mom’s on the weekends and with his dad during the week. His dad got married when he was 10 to his stepmom, whom he adores and gets along with very well.
At the age of 12, he gets a chance to move to Japan with his father, who was offered a job in Tokyo because of how good he was in his career field. Two years later, he was transferred to Okina City and the family was moved to Inaba. By that time they could all speak Japanese fairly well, and despite being a transfer student to Yasogami High (he did home schooling until high school) and a gaijin, he got along with a few students in the drama club and his desk neighbor Yosuke Hanamura in their class.
Internally, Marco suffers from not being able to present how he wanted; from a young age he felt comfortable dressing as a girl, letting his hair grow long and painting his nails. His dad and stepmom don’t to care, so long as Marco was happy, but due to the rest of the family being conservative and the world at large not accepting that sort of thing in men, Marco tended to keep it to himself. He got away with long hair since most men had long tresses, but other than that he forces a very male persona when he talks to people. He also suffered from internalized homophobia since he felt like his attraction to men was “dirty” - but later on his father embraces him and tells him it’s who he is, and denying who he is can cause problems later on in life.
Marco is the second dungeon, before Kanji. He is one of the people who helps Kanji come to terms with his own sexuality and love of cute things later on, along with their leader, Yu!
I will add more later but here have some photos I did on Zepeto of Marco!
Shown are his comfortable, summer, beach and winter outfits:.

Donald Trump’s defensiveness about Russian hacking is revealing
Tumblr media
AMONG the Republicans cowering before President Donald Trump, the presence of Marco Rubio and Paul Ryan has been especially disheartening. Yet both threatened to regrow spines this week. “Russia is an adversary,” declared Senator Rubio, in response to the president’s fraternising in Helsinki. “Russia is a menacing government that does not share our interests,” said the Speaker of the House of Representatives. These were, if not stinging rebukes, better than Mr Rubio’s usual habit of keeping shtum and tweeting Bible verses whenever Mr Trump does something horrid, or Mr Ryan’s of offering a wry half-smile and a comment on tax reform. Yet both men, formerly known as principled conservatives, sullied their moment of revertebration. Both claimed the Russian election-hacking effort on Mr Trump’s behalf had been a failure. “It is also clear,” said Mr Ryan, that “it didn’t have a material effect on our elections.”
Not so. The margin of Mr Trump’s victory in the electoral college was tiny, a matter of just under 80,000 voters in three rustbelt states. Any one of Hillary Clinton’s unforeseen troubles could account for that: including her late fainting fit, James Comey’s blundering or an illicit Russian social-media campaign that suggested she was in league with the devil. And a bigger Russian intervention, the cyberwar on behalf of Mr Trump described in Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12 Russian military intelligence officers, could have hurt her more than all the rest combined. It appears to have been better-resourced, longer-running and more extensive and ingenious than almost anyone imagined.

The special counsel’s indictment describes a global network of anonymous servers and bitcoin miners, rampant identity theft and money-laundering, all focused on the Russian objective of getting Mr Trump elected. The Russian spies, whose identities, responsibilities and individual activities the indictment meticulously identifies, had a free run of Mrs Clinton’s party and campaign computer files until a few weeks before the election. The indictment suggests that they may additionally have stolen the Clinton team’s voter-targeting data, which in the hands of her opponent could have been a devastating weapon.
Even if those numbers were pinched (and Mrs Clinton’s data people claim to have seen other proof to that effect), it would be impossible to know whether Russia swung the election for Mr Trump. Yet given the extent of its effort and given that it need only have shifted 0.03% of the total number of votes from the Democrats to the Republicans, it might well have done. There is certainly no basis on which to conclude that it did not.
The Democrats’ grousing over this possible election theft will get them nowhere, of course. Yet the grousing is inevitable and a mark of Mr Putin’s indisputable achievement: a serious jolt in Americans’ confidence in the integrity of their elections. Half of Americans think that Mr Trump colluded with the Russians to engineer his election. In the court of public opinion, that arguably makes his presidency illegitimate, which would be corrosive to American democracy even under a much less divisive leader. A governing party mindful of majority sentiment, and ambitious to win it, would respond to that carefully. By treating reasonable concerns about Mr Trump’s election as just another partisan fight, Mr Ryan and his colleagues are instead underlining the extent to which they have abandoned that ambition.
Their complacency towards Mr Trump’s financial conflicts, a second source of doubt about Mr Trump’s presidency, provides another illustration of this. Among innumerable examples, China is reported to have granted trademarks to at least 39 Trump-branded products since his inauguration, including some the president had previously been denied. Mr Trump and his retinue spent almost a third of last year staying, at public expense, at Trump properties. A working weekend at one of the president’s golf courses in Scotland, during which he managed to squeeze in 18 holes in between plotting the downfall of the West, cost American taxpayers almost $70,000. There are laws against such self-enrichment. Yet even as legal challenges to Mr Trump’s behaviour creep through the courts, the Republicans dare not criticise it. To do so might cost them an invitation to Mar-a-Lago.
It might also invite a primary challenge, given the way Mr Trump has weaponised his unpopularity, rallying his supporters against any critic. No doubt right-minded Republicans, among the many who privately abhor Mr Trump, would otherwise speak up. Yet it also seems notable that their unwillingness to do so is consistent with their party’s acceptance of a different sort of illegitimacy. That is the tyranny of minority rule, enabled by the quirks of an electoral system that gives its white, rural supporters more power for fewer votes than the more diverse, clustered Democrats—almost 3m fewer, in the case of Mr Trump’s victory over Mrs Clinton. The adoption of white identity politics represents an embrace of minoritarianism as a core strategy. That led Republicans to Mr Trump. Further compromises with democratic legitimacy have followed.
The Russia House
It is hard to see any happy end to this. The question is whom the unhappiness might befall: the Republicans or America. In one scenario, which might take an election cycle or two, the Democrats’ superior numbers will eventually prevail, and the minoritarians will be overwhelmed by the aggrieved majority. In the other, the Republicans’ continued disdain for the majority, even as they cling to power, will cause an explosion. Perhaps the likeliest spark for that would be if Mr Putin is again suspected of fixing an election on their behalf. So it is also notable that, despite their brief flash of pique with the president this week, Republican congressmen such as Mr Ryan and Mr Rubio have not yet done anything to make that less likely. Until they do, every American election will come with a risk attached.

Dart Adams presents The Top 50 Hip Hop Albums, EP’s & Mixtapes Of 2009 (The Final Top 200)
This is a list of what I consider to be the Top 200 Hip Hop LP’s, EP’s & mixtapes from this year so far. Please keep in mind that in order for me to even narrow this list to 200 I had to exclude all instrumental albums with the exception of Exile’s “Radio” (as it could’ve easily been Album Of The Year) otherwise it would’ve just been ridiculous and impossible to narrow to just 200 Hip Hop albums. This is the final time I do this, after three years I’m sure you all get the point I’m trying to make by now.
Also keep in mind that I’ve heard slightly less than 700 different projects this calendar year (my gmail account was bananas). I’m sure that my Bloggerhouse brethren Eric & Travis have quite a few projects in mind that I missed. That should give you all an idea as to just how deep 2009 was with quality material that you probably never even heard of.
In the comments section feel free to gripe, bitch and/or moan about Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Wale, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes or “insert wack rapper’s name here” lackluster ass album not being in my top 200. Also feel free to add albums, EP’s & mixtapes I missed (like Pill’s). I head mad albums that are still in my rotation that missed this cut (Moka Only made so many albums I stopped him at one so “Summer Notations”, “Carrots & Eggs” & Ron Contour’s”Hot Dog” aren’t on this list).
I’m sure listened to WAY more Hip Hop than you this year (and I probably suffered irreparable damage because of it). All you gotta do to check every Friday of 2009 (both the reviews & Late Passes (For Doz Dat Slept) sections) on this blog for proof. Enjoy (or don’t) my final Poisonous Paragraphs list:
