Hey look, it’s RYAN KNIGHT! he’s a TWENTY-ONE year old originally from MANCHESTER. i heard he’s pretty UNCOMMUNICATIVE, but i think he’s so INTELLIGENT at the same time. while he’s terrified of being harmed, he’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out HE KILLED HIS FATHER AND MADE IT LOOK LIKE A SUICIDE. he had no idea what he was getting himself into when he moved to wrenbury. ➸ dylan o'brien, homosexual, male + he/him
tw ➸ Death, Abuse, Non Con, Drugs, Mental Health, ED.
BACKGROUND~
Ryan didn’t know his mother well, she ran away in the early years of his life leaving him to be raised alone by his single, recently divorced father. He did his best to please his father growing up, he’d come home with good grades, awards, anything he could do to keep his father happy. Unfortunately with his dad’s mental health rapidly declining, not much would stop the anger that would rise to the surface.
It started small at first, little acts of violence, just enough to put Ryan ‘in his place’ another reminder to his father that he was in control of him. However, it didn’t take long for that to not satisfy the shallow empty void in his father’s aching soul. Ryan has never been the same since the first horrible night consisting of his father entering his room, late at night, to perform unspeakable acts on him.
Ryan did his best to pretend he was ok, never showed any signs of anything unusual happening, that way no one would ask him about it, it can stay buried in his mind until he went home, to him, school was his escape.
His mental health was slowly slipping away from him as every night he had to dissociate himself from his father’s constant late night visits. He stopped studying, talking to his friends even eating causing numerous visits to the hospital due to suspicious fainting’s at school. Finally Ryan was able to graduate from school, due to him being naturally smart, he was able to get himself by the final exams, even surprising himself with how he managed to pass despite everything going on. With no care for his own life and unable to support himself financially due to his dad not allowing him to work, he solely relied on his father which prevented him from escaping.
He was in his 2nd year of College when one day he snapped, his dad took it one step further and invited a complete stranger to have his way with him, while Ryan tried to refuse he was overpowered. Driven by anger built up over the years of torture Ryan used his knowledge to kill his dad by covering it up as a suicide. He knew the most lethal prescriptions in the medicine cabinet, crushing it up in his father’s dinner who was too drunk to notice anything abnormal, only for him to overdose that night.
Ryan got all the inheritance from his Father, which wasn’t much but gave him enough to get away, everything in the past buried in his father's coffin which the world would never hear about. Moving to Wrenbury as a place to start as a new person.
PERSONALITY~
Ryan is a very shy quiet boy, takes a while to warm up to people but once he does they will usually see that as well as being an intelligent person, he is also quite humorous and is pretty much a giant nerd. He is easily intimidated by females as he never grew up around girls and never interacted with them while he was in school. Extreme light weight but is a sucker for breaking the rules as he never got to during his childhood.

hey look, it’s ABIGAIL ‘ABBY’ PEREZ ! she’s a TWENTY-THREE year old originally from TORONTO. i heard she’s pretty SPOILED, but i think she’s so CHARMING at the same time. while she’s terrified of being harmed, she’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out SHE CAUGHT ONE OF HER COLLEGE TEACHERS CHEATING ON THEIR SPOUSE AND USED IT AS BLACKMAIL TO GET BETTER GRADES. she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she moved wrenbury. ➸ alexa demie, pansexual, female + she/her
♡ — quick stats;
full name : abigail florence perez.
nickname(s) : abby.
age : 23 years old.
gender & pronouns : cis female & she/her
orientation : pansexual.
character traits : unpredictable, humorous, spoiled, charming.
alignment : chaotic good.
♡ — her story;
from the second she was born, abby was daddy’s little angel.
she’d been the only daughter of 4 kids so he was very excited.
her parents are two of the wealthiest people in the city and are co-owners of a local private academy.
they try to make the perez family seem picture perfect but in reality, they are....... a mess. a dysfunctional, corrupt family.
abby made herself out to be a pristine angel to keep her father happy but it was clearly a facade ; she frequently snuck out to party and smoked weed under the school’s bleachers and was most definitely not an angel.
she started a youtube channel called perez luv where she uploads beauty, fashion and lifestyle videos --- she grew rather quickly and eventually labelled herself as an influencer.
she originally decided to go to the camp because she wanted to do a vlog-style video while camping during her school break and she also wanted to get away from her family so she can truly Live during her trip which is why she went so far from her hometown ( where no one knew her ). . .
has since been trying to stay alive and well & also does a lot of reckless things to keep herself from completely panicking about the killers / shit that’s been happening around the area.
♡ — other info;
100% has and will pick fights with fuckboys. it’s a hobby at this point LMAO
seems like a mega, ultra queen b BITCH but she’s actually a chill person who loves to have fun and is just tired of her parents trying to control her image.
abby actually went to college as a communications major -- and things got a LOT more fun when she went to school after hours and caught her teacher cheating on her spouse with the english major teacher. she recorded the interaction between the two and used it as blackmail against her teacher to get better grades.
she’s not entirely proud of it but at the same time, she was so glad not to have to do any studying or real work.
she .. was not all that devastated to be stuck away from her family DFSKJGH but of course, that feeling wears off each time some bullshit happens.
is very used to getting her way and will pout and flutter her eyelashes and say “pwetty please” until she does.
also she’s been at the camp for a little over a month at this point .
annnnnd yeah ? i think that’s the important bits about abby ~ if any connections come to mind , feel free to slide into my dms @ any time and we can plot !!

ariana grande, bisexual, female + she/her ➸ hey look, it’s ( STEVIE CARRINGTON ) ! they’re an ( TWENTY-THREE ) year old originally from ( MANHATTAN ) . i heard they’re pretty ( RECLUSIVE ) , but i think they’re so ( OPTIMISTIC ) at the same time. while they’re terrified of being harmed, they’re perhaps more afraid of people finding out ( SHE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED A FRIEND WHEN SHE WAS EIGHT ) . they had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they moved to wrenbury. //
TRIGGER WARNINGS: death, mafia, murder, car accident, blood
really likes sex, it might be an addiction
TW: MAFIA. she’s sweet as can be and you’d never guess that her family is part of the mafia, but they are. her grandfather is the leader, her father is second in command, and she and her siblings (all 11 of them) fall behind that. she herself is an ‘executioner’ back home, but while she’s in wrenbury, she’s been laying low
TW: DEATH, MURDER, BLOOD.so, obviously no one knows this, but she accidentally killed a friend when she was eight. they were playing tag in an abandoned lot. stevie tagged her friend, pushing her a little too hard, her friend fell and hit her head on a rock and she bled to death. she knew the basics to check for breathing and a pulse, but there was none. the only thing she knew to do was tell her older brother. so, she told him, he helped her hide her friend’s body, and mum’s the word. no one knows what happened to her and no one ever will. when stevie was asked where she last saw her, she told the police that she and her friend split up to go to their own houses and that’s the last time she saw her. no one will ever be able to find her body because of how they disposed of her, but she’ll never tell that story. it’s too traumatic
TW: CAR ACCIDENT. she was in an accident when she was 12 and had to have her chest cracked and a tracheotomy, so she has two very noticeable scars on her chest and where her trachea is. she was put into an induced coma to make the healing process go a bit faster. she recovered perfectly fine and once she did a few weeks of physical therapy she was up and running around like a regular kid
she was born completely deaf in one ear and 80% deaf in the other, so she uses a hearing aid. and if you make her mad or start to annoy her, she’ll turn it off. so if it seems like she’s ignoring you, she’s not. she just can’t hear you bc she’s being a petty brat
stevie can normally be found in leather jackets, band tees, jeans and combat boots. she’s all tatted up and has piercings, and her hair is sometimes colored, but is naturally brunette
but even tho she looks like a lil punk, she’s a sweetheart and she’s a child at heart. like she loves to color
but don’t piss her off cause she’ll go off and unless you know italian, you won’t understand a word she’s saying
speaking of italian, she often mixes english and italian so if she says something you don’t understand, tell her to speak english. it’s a habit because they only spoke italian in the house
has two little girls named brooklyn (brooke) and josephine (josie) and a little boy named wylder (super wy). they aren’t biologically hers, they’re actually her youngest siblings. she ended up with custody of them because she told her parents if they didn’t transfer guardianship over to her then she’d go to the authorities about the mafia business. they didn’t want to get caught, so they gave up their rights and stevie ran with them to a few towns over from wrenbury. they currently stay with one of stevie’s brothers that agreed to come stay with them while she went to camp
she was a cheerleader her entire life and she did a lot of gymnastics and dance. she was an acro dancer so she’s very flexible (ur welcome, ladies and gents)
you’ll find out more about her as she’s developed, but if you wanna plot, hit me up!

hey look, it's IVY JOHNSON! she’s a TWENTY-FIVE year old originally from PORTLAND. i heard she’s pretty DEFENSIVE, but i think she’s so AMICABLE at the same time. while she’s terrified of being harmed, she’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out WHEN SHE WAS SIXTEEN SHE SNUCK HER BOYFRIEND INTO HER HOUSE AND HER DAD ACCIDENTALLY KILLED HIM THINKING HE WAS BREAKING / ENTERING. she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she moved to wrenbury. ➸ phoebe tonkin, bisexual, female + she/her PENNED BY MJ
ivy johnson intro –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
full name: ivy jane johnson
nicknames: ives, ivybelle
dob: july 5th, 1995
place of birth: portland, or
occupation: ex-coffee shop employee
sexual orientation: bisexual
appearance; standing at 5′8, 120 pounds, ivy finds herself feeling more frail nowadays than she does strong. though she has no reason to not workout, eat whatever she wants, just generally indulge, a piece of her does not allow her to delve into the happier sides of herself, thus leaving her more on the thin side. her style is big hoodies, big jeans, converse or vans. ivy doesn’t wear jewelry except for a ring that was shaped into a moon (a gift from her previous boyfriend).
personality; (+) amicable, virtuous, empathetic, resourceful (-) defensive, withdrawn, outcasted, pessimistic
aesthetics; tear soaked pillows, under eye bags, restless nights, apologetic, broken glass, oversized sweaters, messy buns, band-aids, heartache, meaningful tattoos
bedside table; cellphone charger, ibuprofen
biography: murder tw* depression tw* When Jared and Lisa Johnson found out that their daughter was going to be born the day after the fourth of July, they thought she would be just as much a firecracker as the celebrations the day before had predicted. They couldn’t have imagined just how much of a handful the young girl would turn out to be. The wildness within her ran from her untamed locks to her dirty bare feet. It couldn’t be helped, she was a wild child raining down loud laughs and intense hugs. She was loved beyond belief.
Though there was a little Johnson that came after Ivy, it didn’t matter to her where the attention went, in fact, she thought that the more attention that was on her little sister, the more she could get lost in the world, find her own way around. Though her parents were more on the side of free love and hippy music, they allowed her to roam free and discover parts of herself that might not have otherwise come to the surface. They thought that all little girls should make their own marks on the world.
School was a struggle for Ivy. The more she wanted to rebel, the more she was repressed down into herself. She was given red lights, her sticks were moved, and her apple had fallen far from its tree more than she could count. Jared and Lisa were brought in multiple times and told they needed to have her tested, needed to settle her down, needed to do all these regimes with her to get her in order. If they didn’t she wouldn’t get out of Kindergarten. So the free love parents that praised her willful attitude before, now squashed every free feeling she had for the foreseeable future.
Rebelling against her parents proved to be worthless as Ivy grew older, she began to find her place among stacks and stacks of books. In the pages of dystopian novels, she could disappear and escape to places she could only dream of. Ivy would spend hours upon hours in the library just curling up to read her favorite authors. That was where she had met Jack. In her freshman year of high school, she had found the person her soul had wanted to be with. How many teens could say that? It started with sideways glances and notes pushed over to the other, but the relationship grew to sneaking kisses in between the stacks and hand holding through school.
Her parents, now strictly a khaki and button up family, enjoyed Jack’s company at the dinner table, but advised their daughter that she was not to seriously date until she was a junior. The rebellion in Ivy’s throat grew day-by-day the more her parents told her she couldn’t see Jack, couldn’t go to the movies with Jack, couldn’t do anything with Jack. One night, Ivy had had enough. Because Jack lived decently close to her, she texted him to come to her house and she would sneak him in. That night Ivy told Jack she loved him and kissed him until 3 am, when eyes were prickly with sleepiness. Just as Jack was exiting through a side window, Jared Johnson heard a noise, gathered his newly purchased firearm, and fired at the perceived burglar.
Ivy’s father was charged, but was not convicted. The guilt, shame, and sadness that hung over the Johnson household was palpable from streets across town. Ivy began taking classes online instead of going to school, and her parents removed the door to her room after a counselor suggested she may be depressed.
As her life slowly shifted, Ivy began to develop nasty habits of snapping at anyone who would dare enter her room or disturb her peace. It wasn’t fair that she had to live this life without Jack in it? Time went on, wounds grew scabs, and eventually Ivy graduated high school and joined the workforce. As she took a few online classes through the local community college, Ivy began to feel as if her life was finally getting back on track.
Between saving her money from living at home and working nonstop to get away from her family, Ivy had saved enough money to leave Portland and not look back, at least not for awhile. With a newly minted Bachelor’s Degree in English, Ivy began her new life with a trip to North Carolina...
wanted connections; friends; my girl needs someone! anyone! to befriend her. though she may be a tad prickly on the outside, her heart is truly gold. the person who gets her out of her shell; whether it’s talking weird and random facts (things that calm her down when she gets too in her head) or just the constant prodding, this person gets ivy to open up. a love interest?; homegirl has had one boyfriend and that didn’t go so well. though she is bisexual, i think it would be interesting to see what sort of relationship could form after the tragedy of her last one. an enemy; someone who doesn’t get ivy and who she is? maybe rubs ivy the wrong way from their actions? open; i’m very open to any and every plot! this little sad bean needs a hug pls!

hey look, it’s GWENDOLYN ‘GWEN’ GOMEZ ! she’s a TWENTY TWO year old originally from MONTREAL. i heard she’s pretty MANIPULATIVE , but i think she’s so INQUISITIVE at the same time. while she’s terrified of being harmed, she’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out SHE MALICIOUSLY BULLIED A GIRL TO THE POINT WHERE SHE COMMITTED SUICIDE. she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she moved to wrenbury. ➸ camila mendes, bisexual, cisfemale + she/her PENNED BY KAT L
tw: suicide mention, abuse mention, alcohol
name: gwendolyn ‘gwen’ gomez
age: twenty-one
birthday: august 20th
zodiac: leo
pronouns: she/her
family: emilia & antonio gomez, maxamillion ‘max’ gomez (older brother)
background:
gwen was the daughter to emilia & antonio gomez, a wealthy family living in the east side of new york city. due to a job opportunity and a promotion her father had received, the family later moved to montreal. this is where gwen was forced to, for the first time, attend a public high school. this was a whole new environment compared to the academy she attended back in new york. at first, the adjustment wasn’t easy, she felt like an outcast. every movie where the new kid was the center of attention, was the opposite of reality.
this is where she met her best friend, sophia. the two were inseparable, they did absolutely everything together. this was up until junior / senior year where gwen had begun to make new friends, the “in crowd” as most would say. gwen tried to bring sophia along but as time went on, her friend had become more distant. she never thought hanging out with them was a good idea and sooner or later, gwen’s friends forced her to cut sophia out of her life for good. they never spoke up until sophia’s friends had begun picking at sophia, whispering about her every time she passed them in the halls. gwen’s group had always pushed her to join in on the fun, this is where it got increasingly worse. gwen began to maliciously bully sophia, spilling her secrets by posting them on school bulletin boards, creating false rumors. the worst part was, it was as if they had never been best friends. the girl who became her friend when no one else would, was the center of a mean / cruel game between the group. who could make her break first? tw: on the last day of senior year, sophia committed suicide.
for the longest time, sophia’s suicide took a toll on gwen. she felt immense guilt every single day for months. she didn’t eat or sleep, she had night terrors often. her parents had no idea what was really going on with her, she pretended that everything was normal. eventually she moved past it, went on as if nothing had happened. besides, high school was over. it was time for a fresh start. sophia never existed in her life as far as she knew.
personality & more:
previously was on the honor roll & a cheerleader throughout high school
has a huge habit of numbing her pain with alcohol and partying.
after school she pursued internships, part time jobs, and found ways to achieve her degree in fashion.
gwen was always treated as the golden child, the favorite in the family, and she knew this well herself.
tw: she suffered years of emotional and mental abuse from her father until she was 18
she is extremely picky of who she wants to be around and who she wants to have as a friend.
she can be manipulative & vain. she looks out for herself and always keeps her best interest in mind.
wanted connections: fwb, exes, flings, enemies, friends, best friend, people to party with, her older brother ****, someone to put her in check basically

Hey look, it’s SAMUEL LEWIS! he’s a FORTY-ONE year old originally from PARK CITY. I heard he’s pretty PANICKY, but I think he’s so DOTING at the same time. While he’s terrified of being harmed, he’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out HE WAS MARRIED TO A WOMEN WHEN HE BEGAN HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS NOW HUSBAND. He had no idea what he was getting himself into when he moved to Wrenbury ➸ james ransone, gay, male + he/him.
TW; Homophobia, abuse, mental illness, death.
➸ Samuel was always a paranoid, anxious child, however, he could also be incredibly funny and sarcastic, he’d use his words as a means of protection but also to keep his true self hidden. Samuel used those personality traits to survive growing up in the small town located in Utah, Park City was notorious for stomping on anyone who expressed themselves differently and didn’t conform to society's expectations. While the town was swamped with narrow-minded people, the worst one that Samuel dealt with on a daily basis was his own father (his mother never being present due to her dying during childbirth) if he wasn’t being abused on what he was wearing or his interests he’d be listening to his father use an unforgiving amount of harsh vulgar words directed towards the lgbtq+ community, in particular gay men. While dealing with the extreme amount of internalised homophobia influenced by the town and his father, Samuel continuously spent the majority of his life at a mental war with himself always feeling he was broken and a lost unfix-able case. But there was happiness in his childhood, while the adults were horrible Samuel had a group of 5 that he could call his friends, even in the present time. Never knowing what he was truly feeling, scared to explore it, Samuel unconsciously harboured a burning crush for his fellow friend Jasper, each day growing stronger and no matter who he met or who entered his life, no one mattered as much as Jasper.
➸ Since becoming a teenager/young adult his father's pressure on him became worse, more constant, harsher, he spent every second desperately keeping an act up terrified that if he let it slip for a moment everything would be over for him and he would be torn away from what matters most to him (Jasper). The line that Samuel created that kept him thinking Jasper only as a friend was rapidly fading, scared that Jasper would find him disgusting and leave him, leading up to him graduating from college, Samuel made the rash decision to move far far away to Florida, from everyone, start new, scared that this part of himself that he has been keeping hidden since young would be revealed. Though he tried to convince Jasper to come, he was unsuccessful, leaving an upset Samuel feeling like he was physically tearing his heart into pieces, leaving so much unsaid and lost.
➸ In desperate attempts to keep the past buried and forgotten Samuel tried his hardest to move on with his life, start on a clean slate, he wouldn’t become one of those people his dad would talk about. It was soon he found himself marrying a nice woman named Emily, continuing to live a lie. The marriage was far from perfect, no love or communication, his wife still barely knowing Samuel or his past at all. Samuel when he should have been thinking of his wife always found himself thinking of Jasper, he always wondered what could have been, feeling like he lost him forever due to his own rash decisions. With unexpected news about his father's passing, Samuel found himself back in the place it all started. The world of lies Samuel built for himself began collapsing around him, the biggest fear/threat in his life was now gone and when he came face to face with the only person he has ever loved or felt anything for, Jasper, who never left Park City, in a flurry of emotions he made a instinctive move on Jasper, in his wildest dreams he never expected Jasper to reciprocate his feelings, without a second thought Samuel divorced his wife so he could move in with Jasper and begin a life he always dreamed of deciding that he’d been keeping the wrong part of his life buried, he swore and oath to himself he’d never mention his previous marriage for the fear of hurting Jasper or him leaving.
➸ Despite being happily married Samuel still struggles to fully let the world see the true beauty of his personality, while accepting his sexuality he’s still scared to hear other peoples negative opinions. He’s still a paranoid stress head unless Jasper is around to give him confidence. Once knowing Samuel you’ll see that he truly cares for the people he trusts and only ever wants to be accepted, he is fiercely defensive of the ones he loves but will struggle to defend himself. You’ll either catch him as a shaking ball of anxiety or a soft baby boy flushing furious shades of red influenced by his crazy lovable husband. He secretly loves musicals and if he has any sort of alcohol he becomes extremely flirty and careless.
➸ Favourite song is ‘Can’t help falling in love” as it was the first song Jasper preformed to Samuel and the song they did their first dance (at their wedding) to as a married couple.
➸ Disclaimer: I really want to emphasise that Samuel has only ever loved Jasper, it has ever been Jasper since was young, he is the only one. He tried to deny it and bury with lies, but his love for Jasper is limitless and eternal.

A L L I S O N C L O V E R S A N D R A C A R R O L L . twenty-two teamaker. chicago, il. psychedelics/coke dealer. tramp. dropped angel.
cw: maternal death, sexual coercion, frequent drug mentions.
“SANDY CARROLL” --- formerly known as allison clover --- grew up in the underbelly of chicago, raised by a fatally over-protective single mother, who tried to shield her daughter from the grit and grime that covered every square inch of their community.
as a child, allison was kept busy at all costs, distracted by a wallpapering of catholicism from the influence of her peers and the sordid history of her family. she was brought up in the church; she socialized primarily within the church’s community, she played on the church’s softball team, she participated in the church’s charity events and she helped organize the church’s fundraisers.
the clovers ran an online business selling homemade incense, candles, and teabags from herbs and spices grown right in their apartment. it was just enough to help keep the lights on when her mother’s job at the plant nursery couldn’t cut it. this is to say: a young, naive allison wouldn’t have much in realm of inheritance when she would need it.
shortly after ally’s 18th birthday, her mother was killed in an assault.
gang initiation. body mutilated. her teenage daughter had to identify the corpse.
the tragedy shattered allison’s eden. she woke up to the nihilistic nature of the world, in which good people can die with no rhyme or reason. it showed her the true nature of the modern christian and their shortcomings in practicing what they preach. in the wake of ms. clover, the church community offered allison their prayers and platitudes, but no one in their impoverished community had a dime to spare or room on their couches when allison needed a place to stay. every bystander assumed someone else would step up to take care of her.
emotionally distraught and disappointed in her paper thin support system, ally stopped sticking around after mass and isolated herself from the community, eventually opting not to attend altogether.
the scraps of wealth she had left after paying for a catholic funeral would not help her afford the rent. her underwhelming resume would not be enough to get her a job to support herself. with too much grief to handle working two minimum-wage gigs--- with her mother deeply estranged from the rest of their family--- with her long history of being isolated from her neighbors--- she had nowhere to turn when she was evicted.
her naivete and lack of options paved allison’s way to falling in with a bad crowd. her first night at a local shelter, she was recognized outside by a shaggy boy from her graduating class. immediately trusting, she opened up to him about her situation and vulnerability, and he was all too quick to offer her a place to stay until she got back on her feet. she never stopped to question his character or intentions.
she was fast to fall in with the boy and his band of delinquents, which she would later understand to be a gang deeply involved in several webs of drug trafficking in the city. her sheltered upbringing left her unprepared to notice red flags, and her gullibility made it easy for the kids to take advantage of her on the grounds of offering her bedrooms to stay in and spotting her meals in her hard time. when offerings of basic human necessities turned into talking her into smoking with them and bringing her along to parties, it wasn’t hard for them to pressure her into using her inexperienced body to show appreciation for their hospitality.
catholic guilt went head-to-head with disillusioned catholic angst, both raging inside her head with feelings of physical violation she didn’t have the wisdom to identify. in the midst of the chaos, she developed a taste for the escapism. she preferred to live in the haze of inebriation and work out her conflicts of spirituality with mushrooms rather than face her situation or her grief. but she didn’t realize she was running up a tab with her friends.
from a peer’s perspective, she picked up on their culture fast. learned the slang and the technique. gave off the impression of someone who knew what she was getting into when they started sending her to drop off and pick up at college campuses, and when she was smoking herself into debts she’d never be able to repay.
after ignoring the scarier and grittier aspects of the new friends she’d made for a year, and then upsetting them when she started avoiding sex— depriving her friends of their payment— things came to a head after a traumatic trip on DMT, a vision of her disappointed mother sent her into a serious crisis of faith and a fear that her sins were becoming unforgivable, which prompted her choice to branch out to people other than the dealers she was wasting her youth with.
when the ghouls started getting insulted by her pulling away, one of her lovers let her know that she still owed them for all that they had provided for her, and when she stood her ground and put a lock on what they wanted, he told her she owed them at least $4,000 for their troubles before they would let her scurry away.
in a cold sweat for finding that kind of money in the near future and feeling a serious threat to her safety at the mercy of a gang, she opted instead to commit one last sin in the form of stealing a suitcase and backpack of drugs from the trap house and taking a bus as far out of illinois as she could go.
she started going by the new name SANDRA CARROLL, and planned to keep moving and sell the stash of psychedelics to keep her afloat until she could start using her legal name again and get a law-abiding job. she tried to go to hipster bars and college parties, looking for less dangerous people to pick her up as a sugar baby and give her a couch to sleep on until she was far enough and emotionally stable enough to take care of herself.
the panic attacks and paranoia made it hard for her to nail a trustworthy hookup, but she found a way to survive by couch surfing at a state university in kentucky. the low threat level and high libido of clients on a college campus makes it easier for sandra to deal, especially to inexperienced freshmen who were too insecure about playing it cool to ask questions when she hiked up her selling prices. it was a perfect environment hustle free food and beds to sleep in, and she could have stayed afloat there for long enough to let her trail run cold, find a new social circle, and eventually even heal.
that is, until she spotted one of the gang members looking for her at a party.
sandy wound up packing up her things that night to flee to a remote place she’d heard about, in the countryside of north carolina, serene and inexpensive, far away from signals or surveillance, in a quaint little camp town called wrenbury.
(( TL;DR: sheltered church girl is ill-prepared and too naive to survive on her own when her mother dies unexpectedly; she falls in with a gang and loses control of her expenses and her body; steals an enormous stash of cocaine and psychedelic drugs and flees chicago, going by a false name and dealing to stay just barely afloat. spent the last year dorm-surfing on a college campus before coming to wrenbury. lives in fear of her ex and his gang who are still looking for her. haunted by the specter of her mother, imagining she is devastated to see how far her harlot daughter has fallen from grace. ))
> PERSONALITY / FAST FACTS.
pleasant. gentle. hazy. airy. strange. erratic. passive. flighty. compassionate, but unreliable.
the usual refrain you’ll hear is, “SHE’S NOT ‘ALL THERE.’” sandra mostly comes across as dreamy or dazed out. you might assume that extreme levels of stress and substance abuse have fried her brain, and she might agree with you, but don’t be so sure. there is a part of her that prefers to buy into that story and assure herself that she’s too disconnected with reality to process it. and she’s willing to stay as high as a hot air balloon to make it convincing.
she zones in and out during conversation, absent-mindedly wanders into places she shouldn’t be while lost in thought, and tends to lose track of time or forget important things, like curfews or notices of restricted areas. she has a mind that can muse a mile a minute, and she tries to keep it busy with innocuous thought tangents about what type of flower a person would be, rather than focusing to what the person tells her about the latest murder, for fear of ruining her vibes and falling into a panicked spiral.
she grows flowers, spices, and herbal plants all over her cabin, taking advantage of the rustic life to relive her childhood of making homemade teas and incense. she has yet to ask if marnie and regina mind all of the aromas and dirt she brings into their common area.
she views sex as something that’s casually transactional. might get confused or even suspicious if you do her a favor without accepting a lay in return.
wrenbury and its glitching borders have fanned the flame of her lack of faith in her own sanity, and made her unsure of what to believe with regards to the killers. she tries to take the word of the townspeople over her fellow campers.
the kind of person who you might see sway-dancing like a twin peaks character, stopping in her tracks to stare at a caterpillar on a tree trunk, sticking her hand out of a moving car’s window and surfing it in the breeze, or praying only when she thinks no one’s looking---and if you look close, you might catch a tear streaming down her face while she does so.
she still has a trace of purity to her that most people don’t pick up on until they outright find out about her religious upbringing. she comes off as an eccentric wallflower sitting in a circle with the stoners at a party; not unfriendly, but not the person to start the conversation; doesn’t instigate the orgy but she certainly keeps up. innocent but not inexperienced. very good at maintaining lucidity just long enough to escape any witnesses when she’s having a bad trip.
some sandy carroll pinterest boards created by myself and my friends: (i), (ii), (iii), (iv).
> WANTED CONNECTIONS.
friends, especially people with easygoing personalities. someone who can make her feel comfortable enough to have more sober conversations. people who buy from her (she’s currently carrying cocaine, ecstasy, and acid). enemies (could be on the grounds of sandy being twee, inconsiderate, or a liability). a disinterested person for her to have a crush on even though they wouldn’t notice if she was hacked up by one of the killers. a kinder person with a crush on her that she’ll never pick up on.
hookups~ sandy is pansexual and doesn’t realize that she’s been traumatized by years of sexual coercion, so she consents to a lot of bad ideas, and is still conditioned into the mindset that it’s something you use to pay gratitude to people for being nice to you.
someone she met from the college she was squatting at, especially if they’re a hippie who brought up wrenbury when they were having a stoned dorm room conversation about wanting to move off the grid.
someone, either from or hired by the gang, who was sent to track her down and collect her debt and is now trapped in wrenbury with her 👀 :GRIM_REAPER_EMOJI:

bex taylor-klaus, lesbian, genderfluid + she/they/them ➸ hey look, it’s AZAZEL WOODS ! they’re a TWENTY FIVE year old originally from COLORADO . i heard they’re pretty HARSH , but i think they’re so OUTGOING at the same time. while they’re terrified of being harmed, they’re perhaps more afraid of people finding out THEY HAVE A SECRET THIRST TRAP TIKTOK ACCOUNT THAT LEAD TO THEM MAKING AN ONLYFANS . they had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they moved to wrenbury.
TRIGGER WARNING: DRUGS, ALCOHOL
Name: Azazel Woods
Nicknames: Hazel Age: 25 Gender Identity: Genderfluid Pronouns: She/Her, They/Them Birthday: October 13th Birth Place: Colorado Springs, CO Occupation: Mechanic Sexual Orientation: Lesbian
Colorado Springs, CO was one hell of a time for Azazel. Their parents had 3 children altogether, Azazel being the middle child. They have 2 brothers that they adore more than anything and would fight anyone on sight if they disrespected them. Although, Azazel was the bad influence on them by having them get tattoos, piercings, hard drugs, and a lot of things that made their Christian parents unhappy. The Woods still loved each child like they are a blessing on this Earth and have done whatever they could to make sure they were on their feet when they finally left the nest.
Let’s go to high school years. When she was 16 she hung out with a bunch of friends that were very sketchy. With these people, Azazel smoked weed, drank alcohol, and even tried coke for the first time. Everything that gave her a rush would be more important than her grades. She’d skip some classes she deemed boring to go get fucked up. One day she was caught under the bleachers smoking a blunt with her “friends” at the time. They blamed it all on her and bailed. Surprisingly they said she was one of them so they did everything they could to get her out of jail and taught her how to pass a drug test her parents made her go through.
Sophomore year was also the year Azazel found their love for cars and fixing them. Their mechanics teacher favoured her for being genuinely interested in their class. Mr. Hernandez told her that if she ever felt like doing drugs or drinking while at school to come to his class and just work. She was clean up until Senior year. Mr. H still supported her and appreciated that Azazel made sure to pass that and he contacted a few colleges, suggesting if they need a hard worker to call Azazel.
Graduation came and she had failed 5 classes but her teachers at the time adored her too much to see her not pass. With the deepest kindness in their hearts, they changed their grade to a D and let them go on their way. The biggest milestone came along and Azazel was higher than a kite when she accepted her diploma and pictures from then prove that her eyes were redder than a tomato. Her parents were disappointed but thankful that she at least passed. They soon sent her off to college in NC to do great things, and that’s exactly what they did. They ended up graduating college and worked at one of the best shops in the county.
Azazel discovered TikTok when she was in a depressive episode and watching ridiculous videos from a guy saying “Guess what I got?!” and proceeds to bite into an egg and spit it out to finding adorable pet videos. Dance videos and challenges were her favourite. This gave them the idea that they could get a few hundred followers or at least 10 would work for participating in some of the trends. They thought to themselves “Why don’t I do that?” It all was starting to come together until they came across a different side of TikTok.
They came across the lesbian side of TikTok and found most of them got more followers with thirst traps. It was interesting to see hot women doing what they enjoyed and that gave her the idea of making a new account to have a more flirtatious side that she could pick up women she found attractive and go from there. This account was her chance to have her tattoos and piercings showing freely, seeing as most of these lesbians had ink like her. This is when the smooth side of her came out and the need for attention from women came out more. Every little video was of something sexual or just anything that she thought would get more attention. Months go by and their follower count when from 1000 to 637K+ in no time. Her popularity with this gave her the idea to start an OnlyFans at the request of her agent and adoring followers. With this new account, they hid their identity with the name “Hazel Warren”.
Fast forward to now: Azazel makes over $1000 a month from her OnlyFans account to get her by and even more money working as a mechanic. She decided to go to Wrenbury to live their fake persona around (hopefully) a new bunch of people and meet new friends as well as hoping to start fresh.

named after mina murray from her father’s favourite novel, ‘dracula’, the brunette always attempts to embody her namesake’s bravery and integrity. however, even from a young age mina attracted the worst kind of people as a reflection of her honest (and naive) nature. her marriage started out as perfect as could be perceived, a white wedding with each detail immaculate━━ except her husband-to-be.
she fell in love blindly, falling hard and fast for the man of her dreams, ignorant to his undeniably evil side. refusing to acknowledge his atrocities lead quickly to a downward spiral of offering false alibis to the police for his whereabouts, stealing supplies from the hospital she worked at, and lying to her friends, her family, and herself.
𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒕 /
it became too much one spring morning, when her husband asked her to kill a patient she was caring for. she had lied, cheated, stolen medication and documents both━━ but she had never killed. she was not a killer.
realising how deeply into his deception she had fallen, mina stole away into the night with their daughter in her arms to somewhere they would not be found...
𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒚 /
for the first time in a long time her little girl was safe, tucked away in hiding with a close friend. mina had other priorities, removing her ex from her life for one. the threats began as soon as the divorce was finalised and mina knew it would only be a matter of time until he found her...

sydney sweeney, bi-curious, female + she/her ➸ hey look, it’s JILL ROBERTS ! she’s a TWENTY-TWO year old originally from CALIFORNIA . i heard she’s pretty VAMPISH , but i think she’s so COMPASSIONATE at the same time. while she’s terrified of being harmed, she’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out SHE IS THE REASON HER FRIEND DIED OF AN OVERDOSE . she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she moved to wrenbury. // madison, 22, she/her, est + none.
☪ jill’s mother linda was raised by a single mother in a small apartment with barely any income. she always had a plan to get rich. she learned early on that her good-looks could get her anything she wanted. from amazing food to jewelry, she played boys and then upgraded to men when she realized she could get so much more from an older man. after high school, she went off to college and met a guy who was studying business. he came from a long line of wealthy entrepreneurs and when they began dating, linda got pregnant.
☪ their relationship was very up and down after their first year together. he felt trapped and was cheating on linda before jill could even walk. instead of divorcing him though, she took his indiscretions in stride and made a comfortable life for herself.
☪ jill grew up hating her father and pitying her mother. she did everything she could to stay away from both of them. parties, an abundance of friends, boyfriends she’d use and discard. nothing mattered to her because she never mattered herself. she was a pawn. a little play piece her father and mother would move around the board to get what they wanted.
☪ they finally got a divorce when jill went off to college at eighteen. her father was the one who drew the papers. when jill found out, she went off the deep-end and made some pretty reckless mistakes that cost her the remainder of her school year. she got kicked out and evicted from her dorm. with nowhere to go, she moved back in with her father. but her partying and rebellion didn’t stop and so her father demanded she go live with her mother after she was arrested for public intoxication and streaking on the beach. her actions were bad for his business, he said.
☪ linda was living in a one-bedroom condo and jill had to sleep on the couch. her mother promised things would be better once all the court dates were over. her husband was refusing to pay her a dime after she was caught in his office with her tennis skirt around her ankles with one of his business partners.
☪ unable to live with her drunk mother, jill begged her father to help her out. she promised to behave if he gave her a second chance. with a new girlfriend and job opportunities on the rise, jill’s father proposed a different offer. he’d help her, but she couldn’t live with him. wrenbury was the solution. it was her last chance to prove she was capable of change. usually jill would have said hell no, but something about the small town lured her in and she accepted all of its magical wonder, unaware of the horrors.

hey look, it's REGINA ‘GINA’ EKWENSI ! they’re a TWENTY-FIVE year old originally from BRISTOL. i heard they’re pretty DISORGANISED, but i think they’re so COMPASSIONATE at the same time. while they’re terrified of being harmed, they’re perhaps more afraid of people finding out their deepest, darkest secret. ( they’re in love with and slept with their best friend’s significant other ) they had no idea what they were getting themself into when they moved to wrenbury.
tw: drugs, mental illness
hi, friends! super duper excited to be writing with y’all. I’ve taken a long-ass hiatus from rp’ing but gina is my bb and i’m so stoked to write them again ♡ oh oh and pretty PLEASE hmu for plotting + connections!
name: regina “gina” ekwensi age: twenty-five pronouns: they/them/theirs birthplace: phoenix, arizona astrological sign: pisces appearance: a soft, tall body adorned with a mix of stick-and-poke and professional tattoos, thick curly hair that is usually in a headwrap or braided, and most likely dirt under their fingernails. personality: vocal, emotional, disorganized. gina has a big heart, and that tends to spill out of them. they can keep a level head in crisis, but usually only if it’s to assist others. their own personal life is a bit of a mess. fun facts: talks to plants, will go on political rants/info spouting if not stopped
bio: gina has always been something of a free spirit. despite growing up in a household that prioritized a good education and a hustle-and-grind mentality, that sort of work ethos didn’t stick. gina has always had a fiery passion for the causes close to her heart, something her grandparents understood very well.
for this reason, gina has always been closer with their mother’s parents more than anyone else. for the sake of their parents, gina gave university a fighting chance, even travelling overseas to the UK on a scholarship. unfortunately, this was followed by an intense year of depression, visits with a psychiatrist, and more meds than gina could keep track of. they lived in a haze of chemicals that completely altered their personality, their very being.
they knew they didn’t want a life of stress, exams, and depression, followed by crippling debt. after attempting one year for the sake of their parents, gina dropped out to pursue a job they knew they’d be good at. while it’s not technically legal in england (and their parents have no clue), gina found themself happier than ever in a career they truly care about. for a few months, they were living their dream, spending days with their plants and making genuine connections that enriched their life. this included becoming close friends with their best friend’s partner. it really was an accident. could’ve been the kind of story people tell their kids about--except for the fact that the guilt was almost insurmountable.
not long after consummating the relationship, gina fled. quit their job and everything only to move back to the states, to the first place that caught their eye--wrenbury. where else to forget the horrible mistakes made than a sweet coastal town that doesn’t even have call reception?

{ sophia bush, lesbian, cisfemale + she/her } ➸ hey look, it’s SAWYER CICERO! they’re a 32 year old originally from WASHINGTON, DC. i heard she’s pretty EVASIVE, but i think she’s so LOYAL at the same time. while they’re terrified of being harmed, they’re perhaps more afraid of people finding out HER FATHER IS A DESPISED FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. they had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they moved to wrenbury.
tw: abuse, republicans, sex, drugs, rock’n roll, non graphic mentions of assault, lesbian butch mess
ok here i go again, reg back on her bullshit with my chainsmoking, dog training, doberman wrangling, chip-on-her-shoulder lesbian
Decades before Sawyer Cicero existed, there was Sally Maxwell, the youngest of the six children of Ernest Maxwell, a prolific republican politician from Topeka, Kansas. The power of her first cries was a force to be reckoned with, for an already exhausted mother that was trying to juggle her husband’s rapidly growing career and very attention demanding siblings.
Sally was born with the label of black sheep tattooed to her face even before she learned how to run. She was loud, curious and would not stay still, constantly interrupting the peaceful formation that her picture perfect family had to maintain as they got more and more thrusted into the public eye.
As Sally grew and started being more aware of her surroundings, she noticed that a lot of the things that happened around her made her feel uneasy: the bruises on mother’s face, the smell of alcohol on her parents breath’s before 10 am and the way her siblings did everything to get out of the house. Also, there were words thrown around that Sally knew they weren’t supposed to say, words thrown at their maids, and cooks, and gardeners and waitresses, usually people with skin darker than hers. They were called slurs, she learned one day at school.
The pain of Sally’s self awareness did nothing but intensify as the years went on. The Maxwell’s house grew bigger and their universes got smaller, a sea of ignorance and bigotry surrounding their existence. And Sally was trying her best to stay afloat, to not be one of them, to not be like her father and her meek mother. She liked her nannies and chauffeurs better, they were the ones with the real knowledge, with the colorful worlds and tolerant answers that spoke of real freedom. Not the American Dream bullshit that Sally’s father went on and on about during dinner, face red from whisky and expensive steak dripping with blood.
So Sally did the only thing she could and started rebelling. She went by Sawyer and stop responding to her real name. She pierced her ears and went heavy on the eyeliner. She snuck out of the public appearances her family made or scowled directly at the cameras, proudly displaying her USA flag pin upside down.
She was sixteen when Republican candidate Ernst Maxwell won the presidential election and her family started packing to move into the actual White fucking House. Sawyer’s worst nightmare had come to life, both personally and for the minorities in the country that just wanted to live a decent life away from the bullies that populated Sawyer’s daily life. Her mother, the First Lady had long ago lost her voice and so had her siblings.
So she rebelled even harder, openly flipping off cameras, speaking against her father’s policies, attending democratic party events and reading everything she could to educate herself. The coup de grace came when paparazzis caught her in the Rose Garden, fervently kissing a female classmate from her private school. Sawyer was, of course, a lesbian. She had been stealing kisses, glances and handholds since her early teen years, trying to figure out her identity. And as soon as she did, there was no holding her down. Sawyer was pictured almost every week with a different girl, in gay bars and lgbt+ events.
Her chaotic ways reached newer heights in college, when her parents swiftly shipped her off to London. Sex, drugs, rock’n roll plus a whole lot of lesbianing and disorderly conduct, but Sawyer finally felt free. It took her almost seven years and four colleges to finally graduate with her own mixed-and-matched degree on Pre Law, Ethology, Women’s Studies and Political Science. In the meantime, her father, President Maxwell had done a number on America. Cut ties with nations and organizations, failed military operations, dubious alliances. Almost everyone hated him and his time in office. And even having distanced herself from him from an early age, Sawyer felt the repercussions of their relations everywhere she went. Sawyer Maxwell became Sawyer Cicero after being assaulted by a small mob while working in Morocco. It took several months in the hospital for Sawyer to get back on her feet, take control of her hefty trust fund and disappear into the shadows, completely off the grid. Some tabloids reported her dead, some missing, nobody knew for sure, not even her parents or intelligence agencies.
In reality, Sawyer was bouncing around the world, exploring sights she never imagined she would see, with only a backpack and a flip-phone. It was a lonely existence but it was the price she had to pay for her freedom. She charmed ladies here and there, but she was always gone before breakfast. She got certified as a professional dog trainer in South Africa and that’s when she met her new best friend and companion: Lazarus, a 75 lb, purebred Doberman trained to protect and attack. He is always by her side, having been certified as a service and support dog for PTSD and other remnants from the incident in Morocco.
Sawyer landed in Wrenbury thinking it was time to take a break from international waters, looking for a quiet coastal town to set some roots and maybe get rid of the unbearable grief that has been festering inside of her. She comes across as a detached, unimpressed, chain smoking hermit, with a whole lot of a bad girl charm. She misses people, she misses connections, she misses not looking over her shoulder every two seconds, and letting down her guard. Maybe this town will do.

biography: homophobia tw* At the ripe age of 39, up-and-coming junior senator from South Carolina Arthur Whitmore and wife Eloise decided to have a child. Though campaign managers had warned the couple that this was going to be an issue they would need to sort out, the senator was laser focused on getting elected to the United States Senate. Being one of the youngest senators, Arthur had people to please, and if that meant having kids, then by George he was going to do it. The Whitmore’s should have known that their child with a due date of Halloween would be a handful, especially when he arrived two days early, disrupting their entire birthing plan.
Forrest was a chaotic child at best. Eloise and Arthur thought they were going to have a little prince on their hands, they weren’t aware that prince would be the prince of hell. After winning his reelection, Arthur relocated his family to Washington, DC, intent on making his dream of becoming a lifetime senator a reality. Eloise took to parading her son along the socialites and fashion critics of the times. She was often photographed in gossip magazines for her elite fashion sense. Those same magazines criticized her parenting techniques, however, due to many reports that their dear Forrest couldn’t keep a nanny.
It took many years for the boy to understand how to work his parents, and by the time he did, he knew exactly what manipulation meant. The elite schools he went to were finally his place of solace, no longer under the watchful eye of scrutiny that came with his father’s presence. Forrest could flourish in any way he saw fit. This meant he became very popular as he could talk any other student into doing anything he wanted. His grades were never a question as tutors had been living in their townhouse since before he was in kindergarten.
High School meant puberty and for Forrest, it meant feelings of confusion and denial. Having been raised in a very faith based family where images meant everything, Forrest knew what his father expected of him. That didn’t mean that was what he wanted for his own life. Forrest rebelled, as the prince of darkness would, and started to see the son of a European diplomat. Though caught many times in their private residences, they never dared go into the public, knowing just how terrible that would be for their parents’ reputations. It wasn’t until Forrest was 18 that he decided to truly rock the boat.
Having been a legacy at Columbia, Forrest had an easy enough admittance to the school. Arthur wanted him to major in Political Science, but History would do. Still believing that Forrest would follow in his footsteps, Arthur allowed his son many allowances with a rent-free apartment and the freedom to stay in New York as long as he followed the rules. Eloise told Arthur over and over to not trust their son, that he would ruin it all for them. And so, in 2015 when tensions were high regarding same-sex marriage, Forrest, just 19, walked through Central Park hand-in-hand with his boyfriend. Pictures surfaced online and Arthur Whitmore had to make a statement denouncing his son and all that his son was.
After that, Forrest had to fend for himself, his accounts all frozen. His boyfriend helped him get a research assistant job and allowed him to live in his apartment for the time being. Forrest knew that one day his parents would disown him, he just didn’t realize it would happen so soon. At 20, Forrest officially changed his name, removing all ties to his parents that he could. No more would he be asked if he was related to Arthur Whitmore. No more would he have to walk on eggshells to be accepted. No more was he a rebel without a cause.
After graduating, Forrest accepted a position within the university where he could conduct his own research and contribute to society. This meant that he could sustain himself and not worry about his mother and father’s money helping him to survive. It was also helpful that he hadn’t heard from them since his stunt went viral. His job meant freedom for him, to do whatever he wanted.
wanted connections: friends; forrest is a hard pill to swallow, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have friends! he is friendly and charming and knows his way around words, but he can also be a straight-up asshole when necessary enemies; he’s going to have them, he says what’s on his mind, he doesn’t stand down in a fight, and he’s catty as hell, he’s going to have enemies love interests; when it comes to people that forrest has an interest in, he goes full force. he charms, gives gifts, and big spoons whenever needs. it’s like a whole other side of him exists open; so down for all the plots omfgjkfjklsda just message me on discord or here!

Hey look, it’s CELIA BELROSE ! she’s a TWENTY-THREE year old originally from OKLAHOMA. i heard she’s pretty NOSY, but i think she’s so ACCEPTING at the same time. while she’s terrified of being harmed, she’s perhaps more afraid of people finding out SHE SPENT HER TEENS IN A PSYCHIATRIC WARD. she had no idea what she was getting herself into when she moved wrenbury. ➸ natalia dyer, bisexual, female + she/her
tw ➸ suicide and mental health
BACKGROUND~
Growing up for Celia wasn’t at all bad, but it wasn’t great. Celia’s parents were both comfortable financially but in the area they lived being comfortable still meant you were at risk for scrutiny by the locals which resulted in her parents being particularly strict on their families image. She was four years old when her brother V was born, to Celia it was the greatest day of her life and vowed she’d be the greatest sister she could ever be. While upholding the image of a perfect family and being the best sister she could be, Celia’s mental health began to slip over time, feeling overall disconnected from the people around her, if she needed help with schooling there was a tutor, if she wasn’t feeling well a doctor was over and if she was unhappy she was sent to a shrink. She never truly felt connected to her parents emotionally, while they would provide her with the best, by giving them lovely meals, clothes and a solid roof over their heads, while she truly appreciated all her parents did for her, she never truly felt cared for by the two people she wanted to be loved by the most, however, she was never angry with them only confused.
While her brother was always by her side, being the only person who brought her happiness, she couldn’t help but notice he remained indifferent to their living situation, while she was glad he wasn’t affected by the family dynamic, she couldn’t help but feel more isolated with her negative thoughts. She started slightly falling behind in school, losing important friendships and just an overall lack of motivation. It didn’t take long for Celia’s parents to notice something was up, after seeing the psychologist for a while and no sudden improvement, terrified of their reputation at stake, they took matters into their own hands, of course under the pretext that it’s for her ‘own good’.
With everyone under the assumption that Celia was off to a boarding school, no one knew she was locked up in a mental hospital at the age of 12, even her own brother didn’t know. Her days were spent constantly monitored, isolated from the people she loved, watching the days slowly tick by never knowing when she could leave. When Celia first arrived at the hospital she didn’t even feel like she needed to be there, that she wasn’t a bad case, however being alone with your thoughts and away from her family she realised some hard truths. She acknowledged that her parents sent her away to protect their reputation, while she wasn’t bad, they didn’t know what to do. Spending years in a facility where you truly felt like you didn’t belong, she began to feel like an outcast, a mistake, these thoughts circulating her head caused her mental health to rapidly decline eventually pushing her to the point where she tried to take her own life.
Eventually she was discharged at the age of 18, her parents under the assumption that she’s better, however, she was still depressed and anxious. Celia was happy to be back with her brother, seeing as though it was 6 years since she was torn away from him. Since returning Celia could no longer see her parents the same, she’d keep them at a distance but couldn’t let herself trust her parents. So when V told her he would be moving away from home, she didn’t hesitate to include herself into his plans, the two of them running away together.
PERSONALITY~
Since she’s come out of hospital she’s a lot quieter and nervous around other people, however, she’s a lot more understanding when it comes to others emotions and is able to read them a lot better since going through her experience. She’s very insecure but a little part inside of her desires to be adventurous and rebel.

{ amelia eve, lesbian, cisfemale + she/her } ➸ hey look, it’s MANON O’DELL ! they’re a 27 year old originally from LONDON. i heard she’s pretty SKEPTICAL, but i think she’s so TENDER at the same time. while they’re terrified of being harmed, they’re perhaps more afraid of people finding out SHE’S BEEN HARVESTING AND SELLING WEED. they had no idea what they were getting themselves into when they moved to wrenbury.
tw: child abuse, child neglect, trauma, marihuana, asthmatic lesbian
It’s hard making yourself be heard when the world around you is so so very loud.
That’s the main thought that occupied little Manon O’Dell’s head as she grew up in a house as a middle child, with two older siblings and two younger ones. The plaster from the walls was always crumbling like old biscuits, there was never any hot water by the time it was her turn to bathe and the mold growing in every corner made the wild-haired brunette’s little lungs constrict until her lips were blue and burning for oxygen.
She never understood why her parents had so many children, considering they never seemed to actually like any of them. They were constantly away with work, leaving the children to fend for themselves, and being known around the neighborhood as that “ratty O’Dell bunch”; the unkempt, skinny kids, always unsupervised, always smelling of mildew and getting in trouble.
One day, after a particularly loud argument between her parents, Manon’s mom packed up her things and left. The little girl ran after her to the bus stop with her own bag packed with random items only to be ushered back into the dilapidated flat, with the promise that they would be reunited soon. The months passed and Manon never saw her mother again and she swore the crack her heart had made could be heard around the world.
Soon, her older siblings disappeared too, having been around less and less since their mother left. Manon wasn’t even a teenager yet and she was having to learn how to step in and be the mother to a small child and a toddler. Dad was busy with work, always busy with work. And when he came home he was always so tired and drank and went to sleep.
It was while Manon was trying to warm up some soup for her siblings that half of the kitchen went up in flames. The children all escaped unscathed, covered in soot and Manon swears she hasn’t stopped coughing from the smoke to this day. (But surely it had to have something to do with starting to smoke in her early teens even after being diagnosed with asthma). Social Services had arrived almost as fast as the fire engine and before she could catch her breath, Manon and her siblings were being separated and shipped to different foster homes. It hurt more than mother’s abandonment and father’s rejection, and Manon still carries the empty promise of someday finding them and the guilt of causing their separation even though she was a child.
The foster system was, of course, a shit show whirlwind of abandonment, neglect, rejection and a particularly nasty foster father that still creeps into Manon’s nightmares and daydreams and makes her want to scrub her skin raw in the shower. So when she finally aged out of the system, she ran to the city as fast as she could and never looked back.
As a teen with not a pound to her name, Manon worked hard to survive, living in the streets and couch surfing and rolling with questionable crowds. It was only a matter of time before she ended up in jail after being caught red handed shoplifting. And honestly, low security prison was better than anything Manon had experienced before. She had a bed and three guaranteed meals every day. Her roughness around the edges and North London accent meant she was mostly left alone and she didn’t go around looking for trouble.
While serving her sentence, Manon finally found something she could be passionate about and that was plants. She started working as a gardener, tending to all the greens within the facilities, learning and passing the time.
Once she was released, Manon felt a new kind of freedom. She needed a change of scenery. That’s when she came across with the Wrenbury camp. So she got a few jobs, a shoebox flat and worked her ass off until she had enough money to get her affairs in order and buy a plane ticket to America. The small town and the camp surrounded by nature was perfect, Manon could enjoy the company of plants and maybe meet some new people, even though she had always been an awkward loner.
Not long after having arrived, Manon found an abandoned patch of marihuana sprouts, hidden in an abandoned shed and out of curiosity she started taking care of them. And they blossomed. And then again, out of curiosity, she sold some to a group of locals that fit the Woodstock aesthetic she imagined. And they came back for more. And then some more. And word slowly spread and before she knew it, Manon was running a very successful (and completely illegal) pot business. And just going with the flow.
She honestly still has no idea what the fuck she is doing, but things are calmer now than they have ever been for her and she wants to enjoy it. Wrenbury is beautiful (sure, it’s spooky and there’s rumors and missing people) but there’s also lots of plants and pretty girls that make this hopeless homosexual have to reach for her inhaler. Manon just wants to finally grow roots (heh) in a place that can finally feel like home, somebody to hold hands with, drink beer and adopt a cat.
