one elephant at a time (ongoing): i recommend this fic to EVERYONE. genuinely incredible. think yellow wallpaper, jane eyre, crush by richard siken, and the author mentions being inspired by my dark vanessa as well. so essentially a modern romance with a dark gothic backstory. every single sentence in this fic stands out to me. every characterization, every conversation, is just so honest and genuine. also!! draco has a cat called lady di!! and he loves to wear earrings! (mind the tags!!)

within the hollow crown: more of pre-drarry tbh. such an interesting plot!! harry grudgingly cares for an increasingly spiraling draco who is except under close and constant watch by the dark lord-every second of his sixth year. currently has an ongoing sequel.

imperfection (ongoing): another fic by robin! and another of my all time favorites, so so lovingly written and so tragic and lovely and heartbreaking. really digs into draco's psych and his manic mindset and constant spiral BUT there is light at the end of the tunnel and so much love surrounding him even though it's hard for him to see it. (mind the tags!!)

saviour series (ongoing): wouldn't necessarily call this drarry? more of a stockholm syndrome gothic novel type of fic but i recommend it all the same. the writing is truly extraordinary and the pacing is incredible. will leave you breathless. part one is complete. (mind the tags!!)

perspective series (ongoing): the original books with alpha harry, omega draco in gryffindor, and an adorable friendship dynamic between the golden trio and draco. really sweet, and super interesting. no romance as of yet but there are little moments.

tales of the potters: very interesting take on the arranged marriage trope! i recommend all of this author's works; they have a gorgeous way with words and their work really brings harry and draco to life.

the veiled boy (ongoing): one of the most intriguing recent fics i've read. really delves into character dynamics in such a realistic and refreshing way and draco is so endearing in it. every chapter has gorgeous illustrations.

never in extremity: reread this one recently. equal parts heartbreaking and heartwarming. (mind the tags!!)

you thought for a moment maybe you should at least text him and tell him you wouldn’t be home when he got back but decided against it. you sure did love self-destructive behavior.

There was a discrepancy, i think Vanessa dress has 1810s vibes like in War and peace volume 1. But the prince's outfit looks more like 1770s clothes.

so i had to move him to 1810.. and for comparison i drew it like in the game.

Relying on history is cool, but you don't have to follow strict cretis to get cool designs. I ultimately like the designs from the game more, but i like to add a little more historical detail in there for variety. Mostly I was just learning what I like in the designs and what i don't...

PS I found such a cool site with refs! Everything is sorted by decades! I am very happy with this find!

Seated at the kitchen table while Wade and Logan's return party ensues behind you, you have found yourself listening to Wade's mindless blabber. The man can not shut up about Vanessa. Having been Wade's neighbour and friend for the last decade, you're used to it. 

"-and her ass christ, if I could give it an award, it'd be called 'most likely to cause distracted walking.' Seriously, it's like a work of art- I'm just waiting for the Louvre to call-"

As you pretend to listen to Wade's girl problems, your eye snags on Logan sitting alone on the couch as he nurses a beer. Hunched over with his elbows resting on either knee, he gazes off into nothing, utterly oblivious to your stare. You watch as Logan's thumb makes idle circles on the side of his drink, your mind drifting elsewhere as you wonder how it would feel to have his fingers circling something else. You nearly curse from the view as he places down his can to stretch out his back, reaching up over his head and inadvertently tugging up his shirt to expose a thick happy trail and muscled midriff. 

Realizing you aren't paying attention, Wade turns to see what's caught your attention before spinning around and letting out a dramatic gasp.

"How long have you been eye-fucking peanut over there? And here I thought we were having a genuine connection!" Wade exclaims, looking half bewildered and talking far too loudly for your liking.

"Shut the fuck up," you hiss, eyes nearly bugging out of your skull. "Besides, what kind of 'connection' comes from talking about your ex for the last 2 hours? I haven't even had time to go try to actually fuck Wolfie over there, thanks to your sorry ass." You retort, watching as Wade forms a look of mock insult and clutches at his chest. 

"I'm hurt, pumpkin, leading me on when I thought the whole ex thing was gonna get me some tonight." He pouts before standing and placing his hand on his forehead in faux distress. 

"Don't let me distract you from your staring, but please let me know if you two are looking for a third. Always wanted to see if the Wolverine really is huge down under." He says, smirking at you before practically dancing into the room you last saw Vanessa disappear into. 

Music is still playing from a speaker somewhere, but as you look around the room, you notice that most friends have either found a room to crash in or have left for the evening. Fuck, the evening is starting to look like yet another drinking alone with nothing but your hand to please you. With a sigh, you glance over to where you last saw Logan, only to realize he's already looking at you. You watch as he tips back the last of his beer and walks towards where you are seated in the kitchen, presumably to grab another from the fridge.

You speak up as Logan nears the kitchen and reaches to toss out his empty. 

"So, you calling it quits, or can we find somewhere else to be?" You ask, resting your head on your hand and staring up at Logan.

Logan chuckles softly at the invite, turning his back to you for a second to grab another beer before facing you again. 

"I'm far too old for you, bub." He replies, cracking a can and taking a swig.

You feel your cheeks heat up at the dismissal. If this were any other man, you would move on and find someone else to spend the night with. But something about Logan drives you crazy, boiling you down to your most primal needs. Not accepting failure so quickly, you try again.

"Oh, come on, Logan. A couple of drinks at the dive down the street never killed anyone. It's just your vibe, dark, gloomy, and has a certain characteristic to it very few enjoy." You tease, standing to shrug on a light jacket and looking back at him expectantly. 

"You coming? Don't make me find some lonely creep to keep me company while there." 

Maybe it was just your imagination, but something like jealousy flashed in Logan's eye as you spoke. Something about what you said set him in motion, tugging on his jacket before holding the door for you.

Having spent most of the walk to the bar in comfortable silence, you guide Logan through the doors of your favourite bar. Inside, the classic red lights and LED signs greet you, a couple of lonely strangers loitering around the bar counter. 

Taking Logan's hand, you guide both of you towards the bar before heading towards a booth away from the strangers. You let go of Logan's hand to sit down, expecting him to sit across the table from you. To your surprise, he sits beside you. Your thighs brush together in the small booth, Logan's large frame taking up most of the space. 

"Never thought a pretty thing like you would like this kinda place," Logan grunts, drinking from his glass before turning to face you. "Not like the beer is any good."

At this proximity, you can see the specks of gold in his brown eyes and faint scars littering his face. Pretty thing. Your cheeks feel hot under his gaze; you can only imagine how red your face is. 

"They have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays; you never know what you'll get, but it's usually a good time. Wade told me you like this sorta place, so I thought I'd bring you around." You shrug, looking at the table to avoid his gaze.

You hear Logan let out a chuckle. "Are you taking dating advice from Wade? Didn't think anyone would stoop that low. Can't say whatever you're doing ain't workin' though." He returns the glass to his mouth; now it's his turn to avoid your eye.

Butterflies well up in your stomach at his words, the way he blatantly called out your bluff. His eyes are filled with something between hunger and mischief when he meets your gaze over his glass.

"This is going to be a fun night, Logan Howlett."

Logan doesn't reply to you, instead giving you a grin and finishing off his glass.

An Assortment of Thoughts about Daredevil Born Again episode 9

Putting my (mostly positive) thoughts here because I wanted to talk about the episode and figure this is marginally better than just bouncing them around in my head.

First of all, to all my fellow whump lovers, we've finally been given a Major Whump Event, and I am quite pleased.

A couple things of note, that I can't stop thinking about:

Matt lying in a hospital bed calling out Karen's name in his drug induced state continues to live rent free in my head, almost twenty-four hours later. It's so cliché, but I'm so here for it this time.

Heather's reaction in the hospital was so interesting to me. Initially I only read it as her being hurt over Matt calling out for Karen, and then annoyed that he didn't want to rest. Which of course is Classic Matt -- a bullet hole in his body? No time for rest, he has work to do. But upon re-watch, the way she steps away from him, body stiff… and the way she points out that the Fisks were the ones being shot at… as though that makes them innocent of any potential wrongdoings... she's annoyed that Matt is trying to villainize the Fisks. Even before she joins the mayor's team, she's firmly on their side. She either somehow doesn't know about Fisk's criminal history, or she's so anti-vigilante that she doesn't care. Almost like her fascination about vigilantes was never about trying to understand them, but rather trying to justify the point of view she already had on them. And by the end, Matt has Fisk in his pocket, further illustrating the growing wedge between Heather and Matt regarding what they believe in and why they can't work as a couple.

Vanessa's cough. That had to be intentional, right? Early in the season, I had a theory that part of the reason she was distant from Fisk at the beginning of the season is because while he was away, she was diagnosed with something, and now that he's back, she doesn't know how to reconcile the two. Of course, the only reason I was thinking this was because I'm still convinced that Foggy is alive and in witness protection thanks to Vanessa, and if the show follows the comics, Vanessa being sick is a part of that. I had forgotten about that theory until that suspicious cough… the one in which Wilson responded with, "I know."

Now, just about everything that took place in Matt's apartment…

We were blessed with another classic "Matt Injured and Sprawled On The Sofa" moment.

The back and forth that comes so easily with the two of them. Frank doesn't bother to ask if Matt's okay, just admonishes him for not having any way to make coffee during a power outage. How he asks "did you clock that?" about the van. Matt flipping him off. I don't ship Fratt, but their love language is snark.

Also can't help thinking about how Frank met Matt at his home, not at the hospital. So did he go to the hospital first, realize he wasn't there, and then beat him back to the apartment? Or did he just already assume he'd find him there?

And then there's Frank asking Matt why he'd take a bullet for Fisk, and Matt answering with "that's a good question." I don't have anything more to say about this one yet, but I want to think about it some more.

Now, I've seen some criticism of the choreography, which yeah, I think it could have been better. (Less slow-mo, please). But I saw someone compare it to a specific fight from the OG show that took place in a large open space, rather than inside a confined and crowded space like Matt's tiny apartment. It's gonna be different. It has to be. I think the chaos was intentional and necessary. But the second Matt dropped down from the skylight, I was locked in. I felt like I was watching the OG show for much of it. The chaos… Matt trying to knock out as many people as possible before Frank just kills them, but not trying very hard to actively stop Frank because the stakes are too high in that moment. Matt fighting injured. Matt still adhering to his code, knowing that killing Cole won't change anything, just like "killing" Dex didn't change anything with Foggy. (I'm not entirely convinced Cole killed Hector though. He never actually admitted it. Unless I missed something). Matt and Frank arguing and Frank's continued casual murder "how about him, is he worth it?" * bang * as he tries to push Matt.

On that note, it did throw me at first, how much Frank was pushing Matt, especially when in season 2 of the OG, he said "just this once? you cross that line you can't come back." But…. Matt did cross that line. Sure, Dex survived, but Matt still pushed him. I don't see how Frank would see that as anything else.

Something else to think about: While Matt and Frank are arguing, Matt says he's "always a liability." In the heat of their argument, Matt says "shut up" and Frank does -- immediately. When he tells Frank to run, he does. Neither of them hesitate leaping off the balcony, at least five stories up, as Matt throws an arm around Frank and slows their fall with his grapple. I don't know about the rest of you, but all this screams to me that they've worked together more than once in the years since the original show. Frank knows that when Matt says to shut up it's because he hears something important. Frank knows that Matt is reliable with his grappling hook. Love that way of world building. The show doesn't have to explicitly tell us, we're shown it in how they interact with each other. And my goodness… the fic possibilities this produces.

Though I'm very curious if or how Cole North survived. I think he's supposed to be in season 2?

The og DD theme played when Karen pulled up in the car. Beautiful in more ways than one.

Karen… I've missed her so much. "Will you be my eyes?" "Anytime."

"Do you remember I once asked you what it was like living in the darkness? Remember what you said?" "It's not dark, it's like a thousand suns." (That last one in particular is a scene I want, maybe need, even if only in fanfiction).

I just really like the scenes we got with Karen and Matt. It really feels like they had found a good place with each other in the time between the shows, where they've found a way to be much more open and honest with each other, allowing them to really understand each other. Chaos and mercy and everything in between. Which also just might further explain why Karen left when Matt's grief closed him off to her. The way she talked about Foggy too? Like… ugh, why did they have to break up our avocados!? I know why, but yeah.

Speaking of, AVOCADOS AT LAW!!!! I don't care if it's fan service. I'm a fan. I'm being served.

I appreciate the detail of showing the stars in the sky because the blackout means no light pollution, even if it probably wouldn't look like that. And I can't tell you how much I love the moment where Matt sat listening to the chaos of the city while he was at Red Hook.

I miss Brett, but I don't think the man's mental health could take this. It's a good thing he most likely retired to Florida with his mom.

And at the end, we have The Fisks being comically evil and I'm here for it. They aren't afraid of anything. They're leaning fully into themselves.

Admittedly, I'm disappointed that the end credits scene wasn't a Foggy reveal, in the same vein as the stinger at the end of that one Brubaker comic. (Imagine Foggy reading a headline about Matt Murdock taking a bullet for Fisk, then going missing, and wondering what he's up to, while being told he has to get away from the windows because he has to stay out of sight?) But I'm also somehow not surprised. If he's alive, (which I still 100% believe he is… I think Vanessa intended to kill him, but he was revived in the ambulance and lived, so she tucked him away. Especially after re-watching the last episode and noticed that she was watching Matt when he arrived, and then she told Matt "you need to relax" as he accused her of putting the hit out on Foggy, and of course… the cough) then I wouldn't be surprised if they drag out the reveal until later. But I was half expecting, the way they kept showing Frank look to the side, that they'd pan out and show Foggy in another cage. Glad he wasn't though. That'd be some shitty witness protection. (But I mean, I guess, they are storing rich people in a dungeon.)

But what we did get was Frank's escape. My first thought was: Frank sitting in that cage like "I've been through worse." And sure enough, that cage couldn't hold him. I so love the way he just managed to use his personality to get himself halfway there. All of this Frank stuff has me really looking forward to the Punisher special that we're getting.

A couple more things of note:

I'm so curious what they're going to do with Dex. Not just because we know he'll be in season 2, but because he looked so sad at the end. (And the beginning of the episode). He's been so lost, and now that he's out, he's still lost. And I think Matt saving Fisk really messed with him.

And are we to assume that Josie knows now that Matt is Daredevil? Not that I think everyone in the bar knows, but they did make a point of Josie noticing Matt leave without using his cane. And also those season 2 leaks of DD interacting with Josie may mean something.

And they showed a shot of Kirsten holding onto Foggy's paperwork at the end… I'm guessing she's going to take the reigns on that while Matt and Karen are in hiding, but I can't help but wonder if she knows something more.

Hopefully there's some others out there as excited as I am with what we got and what's to come. It's a weird feeling watching this show in real time when I watched the original years after it ended and the fandom was existing basically on life support. Now there's other people actively posting about it, making gifs. Much of it buried under hate and disdain.

It's not the original show. It was never going to be the original show. And I feel like I keep coming across others who are holding that against DDBA. Does it have its flaws? Yes. Especially when compared directly to the original show. I would have liked less licensed music, slower scenes, and less instances of two scenes cutting back and forth between each other, four more episodes, better fight choreography, I think Muse was underutilized, and I wish we got more out of the side characters like Kirsten, Cherry, and Heather.

But I can't stress how much good we got in this show. More than I'm willing to list because I think the majority of the show is good. Bendis and Waid are wildly different from each other, and I love them both. DD and DDBA are different, and I feel the same. There's an excellent story being told here. A story that takes place seven years after the original, where things are naturally going to have changed from where we left off.

I don't know, I know not everyone has to like it. That's fair. But I guess I'm just tired of being made to feel like I'm dumb or wrong for enjoying or at all liking DDBA. But personally, the finale felt like the closest we've gotten to the original show. And if the last two episodes are any indication, I think the next season is going to be even better. Better than the worst episodes of DDBA season 1, and better even than the best episodes of DDBA season 1.

What would Halloween be without some TWD? There is much 'spookiness' to this one, aside from the fact that it's technically set during a zombie apocalypse - it's just pure porn. But whenever I think of Halloween, I do get the urge to watch TWD, so I had to have my boy Daryl in here somewhere.

Damn The Man, Save The Empire (Five Nights At Freddy's) (6,100 words)

The main spooky thing about this one is the fact that Vanessa is very much a sociopath in this, and who doesn't love a dark fantasy where a serial killer fucks your brains out. I really need to write more fics like this, because this one was so much fun to write - I love writing dark characters to their extreme.

Ghosting - Mike Schmidt x Fem!Reader (Five Nights At Freddy's) (3,700 words)

Mike has been in love with you for as long as he can remember. For about as long as the two of you have been best friends. He always thought he would have more time to work up to confessing those big, dangerous feelings for you - until something more dangerous swooped in and stole any time he had left with you. Mike Schmidt x Fem!Reader. Star-Crossed Lovers. Pure Angst. Set during the events of the movie.

Again, this is one that brings horror movie dread - I think that angst is really great for Halloween, especially because this is based off a great Halloween movie. This won't be for everyone because it doesn't have a happy ending, but if you are looking for something very angsty, I hope you enjoy reading this.

This one I put on the list because of the mixture of angst, gore, and smut. I love fics that have a mixture of gore and sex (it's something that I really should do more often) because I feel like sex and death really have such a natural relationship. And this one, unlike the Daryl fic, really brings the zombie aspect to the forefront. It's one of my favourite fics I have ever written, and I think it is perfect for the spooky Halloween mood.

This one is perfect for Halloween because it's based off of an amazing horror movie. Also, it's no coincidence that there's two Steven Yeun fics on fics on this list. He looks really good covered in blood.

This was one of my first shorter fics, and I am still really proud of it. Also, it's great for Halloween cause it involves literal human sacrifice. This was actually one of my first fics to experiment with major gore and violence elements - which was largely inspired by the film. And I would love to write a longer (smut) fic with Bee sometime. I love her character so much and I feel like she is so underappreciated.

So, technically this is a Valentine's day fic - because I got the idea that I wanted to post a seasonal fic on Valentine's day on one of my old blogs and this monstrosity came to mind. But this fic is a heavy mixture of gore and smut, so I feel like it would be perfect for Halloween too. This is actually my first ever smut fic that included any gore (and it's my only youtuber ego fic, though I would like to write more of them, because they are so much fun) - and I had so much fun writing it. I love writing about demons and characters who are amoral on their basis, because there is no rules. And that just makes it so much fucking fun.

Decided to dump some Vanessa drawings here, its been a while. This first drawing has Vanessa interacting with the other Amazons, she mostly has rough relations with them. Especially Cassie, who she intensely dislikes, and vice versa. There's a lot of jealousy going on there, even in this au I didn't think there was a way for them to become friends tbh. Vanessa also finds Artemis kinda annoying, tho she doesn't hate her or anything. Artemis just thinks Vanessa should be less lazy and try to train herself to fight better, Vanessa doesn't want to deal with all that tho I think it would help her to work off some aggression. Perhaps Vanessa might give Artemis a chance one day.

As for Diana, Vanessa has a lot of complex feelings going on there and has for the most part been trying to avoid her. Vanessa used to really love and hero worship her. But after her transformation, there's a lot of anger and resentment that's manifested, but her love for Diana never went away. She can't really handle the contradiction of emotions, and so has been isolating herself from her old life.

Of course she managed to fall in with the young Outlaws, so she not alone at least. Hopefully she'll feel better enough to go back to Diana and her mother.

Been reading some 90s shojo manga and got a little inspired here. There's no direct inspiration for the outfit here, just random elements from various manga mashing together. I see a lot of Clamp in here tho, do you think the coloring looks alright? Trying to work on my color mixing better.

More shojo inspired doodles, Vanessa just works well with shojo aesthetics. Tho the robot Vanessa there was more inspired by the Gundam MS girls art I seen, probably why she looks super anime here. I tried out various artstyles here, hopefully they all look distinct here.

That first doodle on the left is also my interpretation of how a Wonder Girl Vanessa would look like. I used the outfit Rebirth Vanessa* thought up as the foundation and added some Amazonian elements and gave it a bit of a greek princess vibe.

Here's Vanessa hanging out with a couple of her Outlaw friends. Gillian, the girl in purple, really likes Vanessa and thinks she's pretty and cool. Vanessa doesn't dislike her but feels uncomfortable cuz Gillian kinda reminds Vanessa of a younger version of her. As for Indigo, Vanessa straight up doesn't trust her, she won't say it outright but thinks it was a mistake for Jason to bring her into the group. She just knows that naive, innocent act is just that, an act to fool them. And well, if you've read the comics...

Lastly here's a goofy comic, with Vanessa showing off her massive Wonder figure collection to Jason. I thought this would show just how complex Vanessa's feelings for Diana are. Jason isn't sure how to process this lmao, perhaps he'll understand it better when he's older.

SO if vanessa is a representation of his heart and universe or at least half of it. and shes seeing 'a guy from work' ,and she got promoted. means his heart is doing much better, and is seeing a nice man from work.

but wade is like immediately so sad, he can't take care of his emotions. maybe his heart is like you're great but you can't handle me well by yourself. hes like im sooooo inadequate and such a failure. because his heart is being taken care of by another person he cant handle himself. like it's embarrassing and demoralizing to be like that.

and then she says...

he's kind, he likes hiking and hasn't gotten her shot yet.

So a wild animalistic strong man that likes hiking and is kind. 🙆

that's the man taking care of vanessa. (if you cant tell it's basically logan but her own logan). Also Logan means hollow . So he is a hollow man and wade is like a little bouncy heart like they just fit into one another

and then theres a knock on his door

and they're telling him your wolverine, is gone. you're doomed. so he has to find his own brave man, a derman to take care of his own heart. okayyyy. he's on parallel to vanessa, he wants to be like her, that is he admires her and wants to be on her level like catching up to his heart. while the rest of him is kinda f*cked.

so he went through bars, and kept being hurt by 'the same kind of guy' but one of them seemed so broken ,soft and tender, he just takes things on, unbothered. its like logan took the wade provocation and safety test and passed.

"are you gonna take that?"

hes asking for himself. and logan says

"yep"

He needs someone to take hits for him and not be easily provoked and react emotionally. He needs a peaceful person.

And logancan take whatever wades got, liiiiike.... then wade threatens him, 'calling his bluff'. and logan leans up to the gun and smiles. like again, you dont phase me, try me. wade's life is a bit more dangerous now, he needs someone to handle higher risk games with him. oKAY they're flirting.

AND Then he grabs the gun from wade he takes control from wade and it shakes wade up, it shakes his little heart up and logan goes like "careful" AAAAAAA WITH WHO YOU POINT YOUR GUN TO AAAAAAAA (((bad man))))). hes surprising wade.

and logan not only wont get shot and get hurt and die, hes asking for it cause its nothing for him!!!!

'he can handle me' type of vibe, i think hes looking for who to give his heart to next. like hes being more picky this time, more mature, he has to be.

vanessa was kind of just a random first stripper he met and he gave her his heart (beautiful ofc wade is just a random hooker no big deal) but she cant handle him and his world. she is more like him. they're both fragile. his heart and emotions dont have a superpower.

and also + logans claws didnt work when he ' wanted to hurt wade' and wade is like ill go out of my way to provoke you into hurting me. and it still doesnt work logan rather hurts his own self and takes himself out of the danger. it must have made wade feel kinda safe.

not only is he strong he will not hurt me. Because wades heart is extremely sensitive despite his forwardness, which Is basically his kind of bluff like pf I don't even care about anyone or anything

Even if Logan is pushed he is just responding by being goofy and cute kinda 🥺 idk he's like avoidant and scared but not aggressive he's just like a pile of goo. a lil creecher.

And wade is an evil pumpkin. (yeah that changes when he gets teleported to a dumpster planet but its wade LOGAN IS A NICE GUY NOT A SAINT)

lili reinhart: ik she's been in some thrillers but i want to see her in a full on horror film. considering the ethel cain connection i could see her doing something with a preachers daughter vibe maybe? or she's coming back to her small religious town after getting the fuck out at eighteen bc her mom's dead and she has to face the town and then oh no the horrors. she should do a slasher, final girl or maybe play a hitcher 1986 type beat. she could do midsommar or the vvitch. wait actually i wanna see her in a robert eggers film. or a emma seligman film. her facial reactions would've been so good for bottoms and she could've done excellent in something like shiva baby.

camila mendes: i wanna see her do a heist film!! i think she could do something like oceans eight or maybe charade. she could've done la la land and yes i know about música and i think she could do more musical things. i kind of want something like what happened with ayo edebiri to happen to her so she can also be in some luca guadaningo film, i think she could do very well in it. i could see her as a muse for an artist who slowly grows resentful of him and becomes an artist herself, or maybe even phantom thread. i think she could've been jennifer tilly in bound. she would be so good in a noir film too, as a wife covering up the fact she murdered her husband.

madeleine petsch: i kind of want to see her in a holiday hallmark film for comedy points. no but seriously i think she could be on the white lotus. mike white come over i got another talented redhead!!! i'm definitely pulling from a fic but i would love to see her in something where she has to roller skate or do roller derby i think it makes so much sense for her. she could've done jennifer's body or debs. she should be a witch a la hocus pocus or glinda in og wizard of oz movie, or in some kind of fairytale movie like mirror mirror or the company of wolves.

vanessa morgan: she deserves to be a leading lady of something. i kinda want her to be a vampire again bc i think it would be fun, or maybe something like blade? i would not be opposed to getting her on iwtv. i think she could very much be in a rian johnson benoit blanc film, either helping out the investigation, doing the martha/andi thing. i would love to see her in a romance film, maybe even something like lost in translation. i think she could've done the watermelon woman. or maybe a barry jenkins moonlight or celine song past lives sort of deal.

charles melton: he's in may december so hopefully will get recognised more and go on to do great things. i want him in a wes anderson film, i think he could do it, french dispatch or asteroid city type of thing. he should also go for being a romantic lead again, again, he definitely could've done challengers. i think he could've done queer as drew starkey. or a stephen chow comedy, thinking really specifically about that one bit of him pulling out jingle jangle w an OoO face, though he doesn't have the kung fu chops for it. left field but i kinda wanna see him in a shakespeare adaptation just to see how he would handle it. he could also do westerns imo, maybe even something like zachariah? kinda wanna see him in a sean baker film.
