I've publically gone on record telling folks not to work for ValNet (the company that owns ScreenRant, GameRant, TheGamer, and CBR, among many other terrible nerd/media "news" outlets). They mistreat their workers badly even by the standards of Internet Media Outlets.

Here's another reason not to work with them or engage with their content- they're silencing independent journalists with ridiculous, fictitious copyright claims.

every video game released as part of a larger series/franchise should have a mandatory waiting period of 5 years between a game release and any sequels or dlc planned afterwards. not to give enough time to make sure the sequel's good and finished, but to drive speedrunners to the state of content-deprived near-insanity where they start doing ridiculous runs like randomizing npc dialogue or cutting every blade of grass

finally got the last hk ending (delicate flower) yesterday. beat absrad with a single mask left - I was counting hits because I was so sure I only needed 9 with the nail (with unbreakable strength) in the last phase, got up to like 12 hits or somethjng and went “why is she not dying??”, Panicked, got hit by an orb and went down to one mask, then hit her twice more in one go (quickslash i Love You) and that was it. Felt fucking fantastic. I am never doing pantheons again

Silksong has a *highly* potential release date for December 2025.

New clips of Hollow Knight: Silksong was shown for the ROG Xbox Ally teaser during the Xbox Showcase. In the clips, Hornet is shown running, jumping, and attacking enemies in a dark-green themed field. The teaser also shows the title art for Silksong in the ROG Xbox Ally menus.

Hornet was also seen platforming and fighting enemies in two other areas during the event.

Finally, it has been confirmed that "Hollow Knight: Silksong will be available at launch when the Ally releases later this year." The Xbox Ally has a release date for "Holiday 2025," meaning Silksong is planned to either release or "be playable" any time from now until the end of December of this year.
