A Part 2 for Day 2 in the Park: the colors! From the burnt reds, cool blues, and chalky whites, the Park is a technicolor dreamland. And there's life! Common ravens and sagebrush sparrows were constant companions. Even a flock of scaled quails! Sign from deer, rabbits, and rodents were everywhere. It was beautiful. I'm already planning my next trip out here. Day 2 in the Park. I was obsessed with the Blue Mesa. The stratification is gorgeous. I was so thankful for cloud cover all day. Hiking in the wilderness is the only way to get away from the crowds.
