I noticed on some other blogs that people complained that KP posted about Will's work this morning before Kate's (also that she was 30 whole minutes late on her flight--clutch the pearls!). This fandom never ceases to amaze me. "The Cambs aren't working enough" and when they're both working, now they're "stepping on each other". Combined with hatred of her pants 🙄 and "she must be pregnant", people can't seem to just appreciate and enjoy the moment, like kate does when she's going down that slide. Life is short, let's have fun!

I make a concerted effort to not comment on what other bloggers are talking about. However sometimes it's unavoidable that certain topics make it across my dashbaord. And sometimes I have to say something, because biting my tongue leads to illogical narratives going unchallenged.

Re: The arrival in Copenhagen

Today is an important day for Catherine, it's her first international trip since the pandemic started and it's about a project that is the nearest to her heart. As a fan of hers, the least I can do is be supportive of her. It's one thing to call out genuine missteps but it's another ball game of nitpick over things that Catherine has no control over, such as air traffic controllers at Heathrow Airport working through a backlog of flights after Storm Eunice. The fact is that Catherine arrived well ahead in time of her meeting with Queen Margrethe and Crown Princess Mary and that is what matters.

Re: KP's post on social media

William gets first billing over Catherine on what is their joint social media account all because he is the more senior Royal. That is literally how it social media in the BRF works. There is also the practical matter that William did the investitures in the morning, while Catherine's first engagement did not start until late in the afternoon.

Re: Her outfit

Catherine chose to do a head to toe rewear. We know from experience that this helps the media stay on topic. She wore the colors of her hosts flag which is signature Catherine thing to do. She is dressing professionally and neatly.

What more do people want from her? Isn't it enough that she is not even 11 years into the BRF and the second most popular member of the BRF? I'd say she must be doing something right, so why not just trust her for a change instead of nitpicking everything she does.

Definitely thinking the photos with the Camb kids when no one was looking on the first visit happened now. She’s too entitled not to. She probably sent those off to JM first chance she got.

And that should have been a red flag.

The one thing that is apparent from the constant missteps of H&M is how close to the knife-edge is effective PR. When do NOT put any real effort into it or it's totally self-serving (looking at you, Harry and Meghan), then the camera just can't lie. Watching the Cambs through that lens, it's becoming more obvious due to the Harkle debacle exactly how much time and effort it takes to produce an image that looks effortless and believable.

Very much so. It’s now obvious that Will, Kate and their team put enormous thought and effort into everything they do. 

That’s one reason why I love royal watching I know even the stuff I hate like the yellow satin Erdem or the culottes has been subject to thorough analysis and weighing. The Erdem was yellow like the cross on the Swedish flag and the culottes were meant to be modern and energetic. I may dislike them but I can appreciate the intention behind them. I love when I post a snarky comment on how the blue dress clashes with the red room and anons tell me “you idiot, it’s the color of the Ukrainian flag.” Now that’s royal watching.

I liked your Africa tour predictions. Can you do one for the Camb Pakistan one too please?

They would be me more wishes than predictions.

I hope this tour is more about diplomacy than glamour, so I’m hoping for a fair amount of repeat outfits. I would love it if Kate focused on re-wearing outfits she wore with the Queen or on other tours. I think those are useful call backs. The arrival color will likely be green to honor the Pakistan flag and I would love it if she re-wore the LK Bennet peplum suit she wore in 2012 with the Queen.

New UK label dress for the embassy gala, and Pakistani designer for the welcome gala. Diana tribute headdress outfit for a mosque visit. Tunic-style outfit for the sport event. Lots of flowy dresses because that seems to be her style kick right now and it fits the country. Probably a few pants-and-tunic combos. One pair of earrings from Accessorize. One jewelry item from a local designer.  Enough pashmina wraps to sink the Titanic. Wedges galore.

They like to focus on youth, sports, mental health and nature, so they probably won’t do dance or music events, but gad I wish they would. That’s PC’s bailiwick though, so there will probably be some cricket or football instead. Kate will wear wedges and prance around like she’s wearing sneakers. They’ll compete against each other and Kate will make funny faces.

They’ll do one craft/cooking event where they cook something. William will say he doesn't like spicy foods and neither does George. Kate will reveal that Charlotte loves spicy foods.

They’ll have at least one nature-focused event in a forest or something where Kate will wear UK-made casual wear. She’ll probably plant something because she’s into gardens now and Pakistan has a deforestation problem. They may have an animal event where she feeds a baby elephant, or something like that. 

Kate will finesse at least one major diplomatic obstacle through her dress, like she did at the BAFTA gala. I think the color scheme will be more sober than it was in the India trip and there will be less use of pattern. It will be, imo, a more serious trip.

I don't think thislittlepetal is MM. Scroll down far enough and there's a picture of bare feet in the sand at a beach. MM has pretty recognizable feet -- big, narrow ones with long toes (especially her big toes). Those aren't the ones in the picture and I doubt her postpartum weight would have caused her feet to get that swollen.

I find it so weird that (i) there are all of these accounts pretending to be her, and (ii) they are so unflattering to the real Meghan who they claim to admire. There’s this one that is pretending to be on a Tig vacay all the time, another that's posting passive-aggressive inspirational messages between rabid anti-Cambs posts, a third one that pretends to be a paranoid insider pr, and another one with a weird Harry fixation who thinks everyone is jealous of her, and they are all trolling reporters and fighting with everyone, particularly Sam Markle.

If you’re pretending to be your fave online, shouldn't you at least try to make her look good? It’s weird that they all role-play her as a shallow, pr-obsessed, bitter, paranoid social media addict who is slowly going nuts, and yet they claim to love her. Whenever I come across one of those accounts I always wonder if it’s a #HaterNation false flag operation.
