Doublestar Duo Headcanons part 3- ☀️Summertime Edition☀️

(Feat some with 3 star fam and superstar squad)

- Vanessa DEFINITELY prefers the summer over the winter. Not just bc she prefers nature and enjoys being outside, but she’s FAR more tolerant to heat than cold

-Gregory is just about the opposite. He would wear shorts in a blizzard if he was allowed to (spoiler alert he is not). And he overheats easy.

-more often than not, the boy is melting onto the floor. Wearing nothing but shorts and a shirt (and sometimes literally just shorts) and COVERED in sweat (much to Vanessa’s disgust)

-while she is much more tolerant, Vanessa can also overheat if the temps are high enough. And they are exceptionally high in Utah (average temps in summer are around 80 F/27 C)

-Freddy has an internal cooling system, that he can make into a cooling system (same with heat) and he’ll use that to cool his humans off

-Vanessa has one singular oscillating fan in her house. And her and Gregory have knocked each others marbles loose trying to get in the path of its relief (basically pushing each other out of the way so that it’ll blow more air on one than the other, even though it OSCILLATES)

-Freddy and Gregory have BOTH had to remind Vanessa to drink more water bc she’s not very good at staying hydrated (she’s a big soda/coffee drinker) and Gregory has gone so far as to pack water bottles in his own bag for both of them bc he knows she won’t do it for herself

-Vanessa likes sitting out on a hammock or a rocking lounge chair, and she’s usually either gotta book, her phone, her computer, or sometimes a handheld (she’s gotta switch console with LoZ themed designs)

-while Gregory does usually prefer indoors, he will partake in outdoor things too. Though it’s usually more running around and rolling down hills then actually relaxing like Vanessa (He knocked her down a hill ONCE and immediately regretted it)

-while both of them enjoy sleeping through a peaceful summer rain, storms are different. Gregory gets annoyed by the bright flashes of light, and Vanessa.. is actually scared of them (jumpy from the thunderclaps plus her fear of the dark)

-on those nights, they end up snuggled up under a blanket together, either until the storm passes, or they usually just fall asleep like that (Freddy adores seeing it every time)

-Vanessa teaches Gregory how to catch fireflies and keep them in a mason jar, and together they make firefly lanterns (she also tries to teach him to catch butterflies but they are much harder to catch and he ended up accidentally smacking her with the net)

-Vanessa will sometimes hold bonfires, and often invites all the other kids over for it (Cassie, Tony, and Ellis) to make s’mores (Gregory never made one before, everyone shows him how)

-Vanessa will sometimes also whip out her old guitar and play for them around the bonfire (maybe sing a little, but that’s a very rare treat, as she hardly lets anyone but Freddy and Gregory hear her sing)

-both Vanessa and Gregory never really got to enjoy fairs and carnivals (if they did, it was when they were really young, and don’t really remember) so they try to go to some of the local ones together (usually they just play the games and eat the fair food) (Gregory dominates her at shooting games, Vanessa dominates him at Dance Dance Revolution)

-Vanessa wants Gregory to experience a proper summer that a child should, while Gregory wants to give Vanessa her lost childhood back. So most stuff they do, they end up doing together (even if others tag along too)

- Gregory is a TOTAL adrenaline junkie, he will go on every extreme ride and roller coaster there is at an amusement park with no hesitation

-Vanessa, however, can only do so much (not that she hates roller coasters, she just has to space it out since she’s prone to migraines and motion sickness) (Gregory has Dramamine and ibuprofen on standby in his bag)

-if it’s just the two of them, Gregory REFUSES to go on any rides alone. If she can’t come with him, he just won’t do it (he says it’s to not leave her out, but truthfully, he just.. thinks it’s less fun without her, he considers her one of his “buddies” too)

-she tends to tag along the rest of his squad for this reason. So he’ll always have a “riding buddy” even when she has to take it slow (this doesn’t completely stop her, she just goes on way less than the rest of the kids)

-Vanessa prefers waterslides and water rides over roller coasters.

-Vanessa is an EXCELLENT swimmer, having known from being forcibly taught at a young age. Gregory, however, can’t even float on his own.. and is extremely embarrassed about it

-Gregory tried to hide it from Vanessa, but when she asked him to go with her swimming and he said no, she thought it was cuz he’d rather go with his friends than her, and he ended up having to come clean before her feelings got hurt

-he thought she’d make fun of him for it, But she didn’t, and she even offered to teach him how to swim

-he also asked if his lack of swimming made it to where she wouldn’t wanna go with him anymore bc he’d be a “hindrance” to her fun. She told him “not to be stupid,” saying she doesn’t care if he can only do certain things in the water, she’s not gonna leave him out of it

-DO NOT give those two water guns or water balloons, they will have each other drenched in seconds

-if the rest of the squad gets involved in that fight, they ALL turn against Vanessa (“adults vs kids”) she stands no chance

-she doesn’t get mad though, just laughs and vows revenge on every single one of them (reminding Greg she “knows where he sleeps at night”)

-Freddy makes sure the freezer is filled with popsicles (the glamrock themed kind) and gives every single person a popsicle afterwards (including Vanessa, she gets the chica pop)

-ice cream dates are a MUST, especially in the summer. Practically once a week the two will go to a little stand and get some. (Vanessa is always getting the same thing, while Gregory likes to explore and get something different every time) (he even tried her mint chip once, and thought it was disgusting)

-they both go on little picnics together at that same hilltop they went to right after “that night” and will lay on the grass cloudgazing

-if it gets late and the sky is clear enough, they will instead stargaze, with Gregory naming off all the constellations to terrifying accuracy

And that’s all I got! If I think of anymore, I’m sure it’ll come up at some point in a post, fic, or drawing 😂 and yes, you’ll see some of these in due time. I love these freaks. They deserve to have fun in the sun together :3

I love the fnaf movie, but I do feel like fnaf would’ve had so much more potential as a sitcom.

You know unhinged, ‘friends’ style sitcom with like 5 seasons. The MCs are Michael, Henry and William, and Cassidy, Charlie and Elizabeth are like tv critics who appear occasionally judge whatever is currently going on or discuss their past. CC is sitting with them but he just munches on snacks and sometimes makes snarky comments about dumb shit Mike does.

Imagine Vanessa giving Jon a statement about what her father has done and the spirits in the animatronics because who else would believe her? Who else could she turn to? Some institute across the Atlantic that takes and looks into accounts of the deeply unsettling. Imagine Sasha and/or Tim and/or Martin checking out the pizzeria, Imagine

On the surface, Michael and Jeremy are nothing alike and everyone they know really wonder how the hell they even ended up in a relationship

Like they are literally that sun/moon, cat/dog, opposite attracts couple with Jeremy being extremely optimistic and happy and so extroverted, the kind of guy everyone loves hanging out with, while Mike is that depressed, pessimistic, mess of a man who glares at anyone who dares try to talk to him

Some of Jeremy's close friends and family try to warn him that Mike is a lost cause and that Jer won't be able to “change him” and make him “better” while Jer is just like ‘what do you mean, he's perfect like this’ while watching Mike with a lovey-dovey look as he sneers at some random person annoying him

Wanna know something absolutely horrible about my William Afton? No? Well too bad.

He takes items from his victims after he kills them. He toom Charlie's wristband, he took Susie's butterfly hairpin, he took fritz's necklace, he took Gabriel's bracelet, he took Jeremy's watch(and glasses), and he took Cassidy's hair bows. He had a little corner in his office full of things about his victims. He used this to constantly remind himself about his murders(except the Charlie one, he took her wristband to make it seem like the kids who locked her out of Fredbears took it to make the puppet unable to find her) so that he would remember how great it was. This was actually how Michael found out William was the killer. He was sneaking through his dad's office when he found the corner of things about the victims.

why do i feel like vanessa from the fnaf movie is kinda a victim of misogony in the fandom? bcuz she went through a LOT of trauma with william, i mean he gave her a dead kids toy and emotionwlly manipulated her. and ppl find her actions annoying. and the part they find annoying is her literally being under the control of emotional manipulation. its not her fault. but once MIKE, the male character starts acting irrational bcuz of trauma its “uwu babygirl depressed” like cmon..

Slight spoilers for into the pit.

Okay so we all agree the 5 balloons we pop in the hat minigame are representative of the missing children.

They're colored like the main 4 animatronics (except for foxy, maybe because they already used red for the other set of balloons pink is close enough) and not like the other balloons seen in the main minigame and happiest day section.

(balloons in main minigame and party room).

In general, that whole minigame has big MCI vibes. 5 hats to collect (thinking off, aren't they also a bit arranged like the Give Gifts Give Life minigame? see below), obvious happiest day ref, the 5 balloons we pop in the colors of the animatronics, BB's air adventure was part of the original minigames that set the children free. Heck, the ourple man himself is in there.

Really what throws me for a loop is the sixth hat. (Which, if it really is another missing child we didn't know about in that group, the 6/5 makes sense here).

(Collect the hats and give gifts give life comparison. Because BB's air adventure looks nothing like this).

Why is it four balloons instead of five? Probably cause of subtlety and how it looks or something, idk. I still find it recognisable enough.

Am I making sense? Am I just being insane? I don't know. Just wanting to post. Let me share my thoughts.

there's a lot to say about SOTM but on a personal level, it is so frustrating that we have no details about the deaths of Fiona & David. because sure, the most important information is that they died. but why would you think I don't want to know what happened during Fallfest?? no, because at first I thought "oh maybe some natural catastrophe or big accident happened," but then we get that message about a guy doubting the death of Fiona because he overhears M1 and Edwin (which is legit) but that gets me thinking that they were survivors or that there's a possibility that only Fiona died. so I'm very curious?? also, knowing could maybe help me figure out if M1 just started impersonating her or if Fiona's soul had something to do with it because Edwin really doesn't seem to make M1 do that.

and then there's David, who just died. but the game doesn't even tell you as it did for Fiona's or Dad-Murray. little guy just dispawn. and then it's like!!! oh there's something very logical you could do about that!! because there is a guy out there who kills kid (and he does!! henry suddenly asks the suit to not be springlocks without explaining because he knows!! but - and it's actually headcanon of mine, even if i can feel scott longing for a double killer thingy - he doesn't tell because he might be under threat! as in William has leverage on him (charlotte me thinks!!!) so anyway that's what is saying the killing had started) but nOOOOO. let's not get into that. and it's not like William obviously had plans to destroy his rivals and (corporately) eat their companies...

and you know what??? that would make so much sense mimic-wise too because, ok i get it M2 is violent because of Edwin. but here's another thing that bothers me: he hides corpses in suits. "ok but that might be because he's a mimic and he gets into suits to do its job" and i hear you but also that's too easy and not enough because this is a theme in the whole series that was brought by william's actions to begin with. you don't want to let go of the original series and you insist of making it harder on yourself and create retcons ok fine then do it all the way and connect the dots, you know what i mean?

so now it just feels like they went "we do that because it's how it's been in the others games" without thinking of what that could mean storytelling-wise. because that also happens with the White Tiger it just feels like it's here because we needed to make something like Golden Freddy but it couldn't be Golden Freddy. and I know! I know it's always been like this, random details, minimum thinking it through but why couldn't this be a little more than that? it was more than that in SL & PS (i mean yeah, no, not for the endo in SL)

and yeah sure White Tiger could be David because that's his plushie and he makes child noises (again. golden freddy.) and i don't have a problem with that - even if i admit it i'd rather have David haunt M2. it's just, can we stop and think about it? if that's true, why is White Tiger aggressive? because again, everyone else is aggressive because of anger and being killed unfairly + M2 who was abused. and not knowing David's death, brushed away like it wasn't something that needs our attention, as if he died naturally, it's making it so weird? it's making it like the default, that if you die in this universe and you're haunting, you're automatically aggressive.

and lastly - and this is very much on a personal level - it would have made Edwin much more sympathetic to me because I hate that guy. but maybe that was the point i don't point. but also let's be honest it doesn't help that he's central to the retcon that keeps choosing to erase henry's actions and now tell us that he's not the og artist rrrr bark bark don't touch my guy

✨Things I’d wanna see in Gregory and Vanessa remodels at some point in the future✨

-make Greg slightly taller- not too much, bc he is still supposed to be mistaken for a little kid (as seen in GGY) BUT I do think the model in SB is probably a little too small. I’d say bump him up a few inches at least.

-make Vanessa slightly shorter- she’s WAY too tall in SB, and if you look at her in the comics, she doesn’t tower. She is tall, but not THAT tall.

(In contrast to each other, I don’t think Greg should be past her shoulders, it just doesn’t feel right. AT BEST, I’d say he comes up to her chest)

-give Vanessa a new outfit- this one’s a given. Obviously she doesn’t have the security outfit after the end of SB. But she also has no model yet with the purple flannel. And I’m dying to see it.

-Vanessa non defying gravity ponytail, or hair down- I honestly don’t really care if she doesn’t have the super long ponytail. I think the middle/high one looks fine. My only issue is that it defies gravity when it should NOT 😅 so uh.. please fix that :3 As far as hair down goes, that.. is just for guilty pleasure. Not a huge deal, but I’d be quite pleased to see it :3

-personally, I don’t think the eyes need to change. Maybe Greg’s can be less orange and more of a hazel with orange tint. But.. I kinda like them having huge bug eyes. Idc if it’s “too anime” or whatever, it works for the style. (Besides, Greg is described as being a “wide eyed little kid” and Cassie’s REMODEL has bug eyes. So it shouldn’t be a big deal at all)

-Gregory.. doesn’t really need a new outfit. Especially if they’re on the run, I doubt getting new clothes is a priority tbh (but I’d absolutely DIE if he was shown wearing Vanessa’s flannel, to keep warm or something)

-take off Gregory’s bandaids (maybe add a scar)- Greg’s bandaids shouldn’t be there still after months. At most, you’re only supposed to wear them for like.. a few days. So honestly, I don’t anticipate him really having a scar either.. I just have grown accustomed to liking the idea through fanon

-make Vanessa’s freckles more prominent- I can understand why they’d be faded in SB, since it seems she pretty much spends the whole time in the dark, up in Fazerblast and down creepy halls. But now that she’s free, they should be more exposed from the sunlight. (Like I don’t think she’s necessarily COVERED in them, but she should definitely have them scattered on her nose and cheeks)

-REDUCE VANESSAS CHEST- I cannot stress this one enough. HER CHEST IS NOT THAT BIG. In the comic endings it’s so clear that she’s sitting at average, but the model does such a disservice in objectifying her too much. I’d say she’s probably a C cup maybe.

-I don’t really care if Vanessa has muscles honestly. I actually think her being a scrawny thing works better for her character. She’s supposed to be weak and incompetent, it makes her character more compelling honestly both as an antagonist and potential protagonist

-fix Greg’s hair a little. The style is fine but the model makes it a bit too stiff, maybe fluff it out a bit.

-And for the love of all things good, GIVE VANESSA A FULL HEAD OF HAIR.

And.. I think that’s about it (trying to keep it in possible canon. Obviously there’s more I’d add, but rn, with them on the run most likely. It probably isn’t possible)

Like every other fan art I see, has them with thin eyes and round face.

And more often than not it’s clearly not because of the artists style (although sometimes that’s the case) because they have CC or someone else with them and they have different facial features.

OK, so call me crazy. but like, I was looking for refs and I saw the 'butter' and immediately thought of exotic butters, right? So it was like, haha. Nice. Reminds me of Mike or sl.

BUT THEN I REMEMBERED THAT THESE WERE PERSONAL THINGS TO CASSIE??? And like, her dad would leave her notes and stuff, and we saw those sprinkled about. Also, we know about those paw prints from the midnight motorist mini game- depending on your theories this can change how you view them, though. We do not that they likely have something to do with the Afton's though.

Would you like to ramble about your DCA headcanons to us, the audience ?

!! My first ask! Thank you so much! And DUHHH OF COURSE I love talking about the sillies!!!

okay so I have a lot of headcanons that stem from me either willfully ignoring canon or misunderstanding it, but hey fnaf lore is my kinetic sand and I am a child of the early 2000s so let’s go:

—Sun and Moon were good at their job before the virus infected them! I know this is now somewhat backed up by Ruin, with Cassie saying that she always had a good time in the daycare, but I feel like it’s nice to mention!

—Sun was as overwhelming as he was in SB because he was infected with the Virus along with Moon! Normally, he acts a lot more like you would expect a childcare animatronic to act like (again, somewhat backed up by HW2 as Sun speaks a lot more calmly! My little asshole <33)

—On the train of thought as above, here is my own personal interpretation of events that led up to SB: Moon was the first in the Pizzaplex to be infected, and after he realized as such, he blocked himself entirely out of the system and put firewalls up to hell and back, cutting off his communication with Sun!

—Sun started going a little crazy with the stress of keeping up the daycare entirely by himself, and didn’t notice the virus had infected him too until too late! (Basically right before the events of security breach)

—Moon would listen to and enjoy old Panic at the Disco if he had access to non fazbear-approved music

—…night shift employees also happen to find their devices go missing on occasion, only to be returned with some interesting Spotify history

—a lot of people I feel like think Sun would listen to soft indie stuff but I think he would either listen to hard rock or the most deplorable, insufferable hyper-pop on the damn market

—Moon and the DJ are besties!

—Sun can’t leave the daycare, but Chica will come and visit him every once in awhile! Sun gives her his latest knitting project, and Chica usually delivers gossip from across the Pizzaplex Moon happened to miss.

—The rest of the band members steer clear of the daycare, except for Freddy every one in awhile. And Bonnie, of course— Moon was friends with Bonnie.

—Also, non-virus infected Moon is a menace who is generally rude and disrespectful to Pizzaplex employees (smh moon) UNLESS you give him a reason to not be rude and disrespectful

—he operates on an guilty until proven innocent basis and Sun is absolutely the same way with Pizzaplex employees

—Moon is the more public menace, but everyone really should be afraid of Sun, who 100% has less morals

—I don’t even know what to make of canon Eclipse but I love them!! And I genuinely wonder if Sun and Moon were ever rebooted into safe mode before Ruin? If so, what kind of role did Eclipse play?

-I also don’t know what to make of Moon’s apparent lore relevance in HW2, and this may be denial speaking, but I feel like maybe Moon wasn’t infected during HW2? Maybe he’s just being his normal, menace-y self? That’s what I think at least but that’s just a theory (a GAME THEORY)

….kay this feels like way too many words BUT I appreciate the chance to ramble!! I definitely try and keep their personalities based in canon (especially in my writing) but I also love everyone who hc’s them heavily!! The fandom is what makes liking these two so enjoyable, so I love seeing any and all takes :D

Being a FNaF fan since it came out is a really funny thing.

Of course I was five when it came out and absolutely TERRIFIED of the games.. because I was five

But my older cousin kept showing me things about it and no matter how much it scared me, I also loved it.

After the third game came out, I had a hard time sleeping because of Springtrap. The corpse inside me scared the hell out of me.

We'd watch plushie videos all day (mainly slypie) and all the new game theory videos (where I learned some gruesome facts I still remember)

I think because of that, it's why FNaF is such a big part of who I am.

I always bounce between fandoms, lose interest and move to a new thing for a while, eventually coming back for a bit.

But FNaF is different, I don't leave the fandom at all. I can't leave it, no matter if I try.

FNaF is the reason I'm friends with some of my closest friends, why me and my gf have so much in common because we both have been fans since it came out. It's the reason I got into drawing consistently and why I actively make videos. It got me into Cosplay and spending over a hundred dollars on merch over the period it's been out.

It's been ten years since it came out. It changed immensely over that time but it's still FNaF. Hopefully it doesn't completely die in the next few years
