Reasons Lena sold Cat Co.

You know, reading back on my own theories on why Lena sold Cat Co.

1. She doesn't want to be around Kara and James anymore, and why would she? Plus she admitted she only brought it for Kara anyway.

2. She was basically pushed out by both of them anyway last season, and was disrespected.

3. She sold it to Andrea because she knew Andrea wouldn't take any of Kara's and James' bulls*t. She knew that Andrea would change things up, Kick James to the kirb, and knock Kara off her pedestal and make life very uncomfortable for her at Cat Co. Pretty good revenge tactic without throwing a punch.

But!! I now have theory number 4! Which seems kind of obvious now.

4. What if the reason she sold it was because she intended to expose Kara? Lena would have looked ridiculous exposing her own bff and employee using her own magazine! Plus she couldn't expose her herself, a Luthor doing that wouldn't look good and everyone would hate her, she would probably lose all credibility and all her staff, single handedly destroying Cat Co. Lena isn't stupid, selling up for a profit, then planning to get someone else to expose Kara while keeping her name out of it absolves her of involvement and also protects the jobs of all other Cat Co employess that Lena has no beef with and was seen to get along with.

That's why you weren't the answer." A pause. "Kirb? Technically Daisy's a BFFs too! I guess... Everyone on the list is. I should've put that as an option."

He lowered his voice so Mario couldn't hear. "DK, Kirby? Y'know what, I'm gonna use that next time Mario complains I'm not running fast enough. I'm gonna tell him I have more wind resistance."
