it's very funny seeing the tuff guys talk about gem being so passive this season because on the one hand i totally see why, considering she's happy to let her barn burn down and she's brushed off the many attempts on her life and continued to stay allied with a number of them (even encouraged them to kill her), but i don't think she's as passive as they say.

i think she's being held back, like a hunting dog on a leash. gem likes to play the game and the game says green lives cant kill, but she's still bloodthirsty. she's so happy to convince everyone else to kill anyone but herself (mostly scott, to be honest). she helped scar build a trap and lured cleo in. all he had to do was pull the trigger. she planned to team up with jimmy to kill scott, and even when scott was no longer dark green she tried to convince him to go through with their plan anyway. she wants to pvp pearl, one on one, the honourable way. even back in episode three she was talking to her snail about what a great team they'd make (if only it wasn't targeting only her).

she's playing the long game but its only a matter of time before (like etho's apt volcano metaphor) she unleashes carnage on the server, and we've seen what that looks like in secret life.

Finally finished the most widely used Formid writing system. Be been working on the numbers for months now, and the alphabet for the past couple days.

At some point I’d like to make a conlang for it, but if I did that rn I would genuinely explode

From a reader's perspective tho, this IS a slow-burn done right....You can actually see their relationship burn quietly like the wick of a candle, melting the walls away...It is so quiet yet so passionate...This trope has been done justice with...So many get fixated on either slow or burn of this trope that they forget it is supposed to happen as one process not seperately (just like so many do not understand 'enemy' component of enemy-to-lovers and write, at best, rivals turned lovers or, at worst, dislike turning into love kind of stories)...

There might not be swords drawn against each other's throats and eyes spitting fire but there is a man toying with a woman's hair while he seethes with jealousy and a woman's palm sweating, pressed against a man's as she battles emotions in her heart and I think it is worth the clattering swords or shooting flames...

Danny knows Technus got back into the living world, but he has no idea where he is. He’s pretty sure Technus took one of his offhand comments during their fight as inspiration and left Amity Park, but they lost his trail after that. Still, they’ve kept looking. There’s no telling how much damage he could do with the proper technology under his control.

Meanwhile, the Justice League is growing very concerned. Someone has been going around the US stealing a number of high-tech devices, but no one knows who or why. The thief’s desire for technology is obvious, but all attempts at catching them or even just finding out more have failed.

It’s as if the thief is a ghost…
