Going to Formnext today with my mum and I'm so excited. Mostly nervous though because I'm still such a noob in terms of additive manufacturing. I hope I can learn a lot and, fingers crossed, grab some cool goodies and gadgets.
Also yes, it's still a school trip but I got an extra free ticket, that I didn't want to waste and since it's open to anyone who has a ticket, I thought she might want to join me as she also started dipping her toes into 3D-printing.

Nexa3D Unveils Nexa AI - An Intelligent Software Platform For Its XiP Pro Industrial 3D Printer
An sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI) platform called Nexa AI has been revealed by Nexa3D, a major supplier of ultrafast polymer 3D printing technology, specifically for their XiP Pro Industrial 3D Printer. This cutting-edge software suite streamlines and automates the complete 3D printing process, from file preparation to post-processing, by utilizing the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The main goal of Nexa AI is to provide users with the print intelligence they need to guarantee reliable and successful 3D printing every time. For industrial and commercial users who need print reproducibility and reliability in their scaled additive manufacturing operations, this functionality is especially valuable. With every print, the AI software gains more efficiency and efficacy, providing users with advantages including automated and streamlined workflows, remote monitoring, and real-time mistake identification, intervention, and correction. Lower labor costs, increased manufacturing yields, less material consumption, and enhanced process repeatability are the end results.
Nexa AI's debut at Formnext, a major additive manufacturing event, signals the technology's potential influence on the sector. Because the software platform actively learns and adapts with every printing job, it marks a considerable divergence from conventional 3D printing methods. Its flexibility makes it unique and guarantees that it will always be in line with the changing needs of the user.

Very nervous because my class will visit FormNext on the 19th of November. So many people who are experts in additive manufacturing and here am I printing 3D-models I bought online, still struggling with how to put in the correct support structures and being terrified of using Blender because I don't want to fuck things up... I'm such a noob it's embarassing.
