i just spent so long

like , ages

trying to get split so i can make an edit .

and i had prototype ,, and there was a crate in splitsville .

after finally getting split . that robot opened the crate AND THERE WAS LOADS OF KILLER ROOMBAS ... THEY DIED ALONG WITH EVERY NPC IN THE ELEVATOR . THE NEXT 2 FLOORS I GOT PEST AND BIVE TOO AND THEY BOTH DIED ..

Some doodles based on my Fossilcraft/Shrimpbowl Rimworld colony

These motherfuckers were constantly miserable the first 15 days because I didn’t realize you didn’t need seeds to make a farm- so we basically had no food source outside of hunting and berries (not helped by the fact I didn’t realize Shrimpo made corpses decay faster) till I realized that seeds didn’t exist. You just. Planted. Not only that but 1/3 of the time at least one person (usually Scraps) had heatstroke because I decided the best place to live (based on randomization) was a tropical rainforest.

Speaking of heatstroke, Scraps actually died of it at one point. Yeah. Originally I planned on leaving her dead for angst purposes but then I realized that the egg that Shelly had HAD BEEN FUCKING COOKED AGAIN (Yes this happened more than once, made even worse by the fact that SHELLY WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD COOK) so I just went to a previous save because there was no way we were going to be able to get another.

Speaking of the egg repeatedly dying, at some point there was a heat wave, and no matter what I did the egg would keep overheating so. Again. Saves. I wasn’t letting this egg die.

Scraps getting heatstroke resulted in me putting a cooler right above her half of her and Shelly’s bed.

We had both a Mad Alpaca and a Mad Rat attack, Finn got injured in the first and Shrimpo in the latter…and then after the rat attack, there was a medical emergency, aka, Scraps nearly dying from heatstroke. This time she didn’t actually die, mainly because of the cooler and Shrimpo being a semi-decent doctor.

The little guy that hatched from the egg was a girl…still named them Hewie (or Howard, since that’s the full version of his name), so uh. Guess Hewie is trans now/j

Shrimpo and Finn broke up, they were enemies for a bit, now they’re slowly getting along again. Scraps and Shelly got engaged though! And of course the egg hatched, I love them I hope for only good things for them <3

Also apparently Scraps and Shelly are the epitome of a gorgeous couple because visitors keep flirting with them-

So, I had to redo the Fossilcraft/Shrimpbowl colony since on Christmas I got the money to buy more Rimworld dlc than just Biotech, so, I’ve redrawn them! Also did it in pixel art because I’ve been practicing with that

Fossilcraft is the name of the community (since Scraps was the one who named the colony), Craft Corner is the faction name and Iwamurian Path (I didn’t come up with that name) is the name of the ideology (basically base Rimworld)

I didn’t include Hewie (who has been born) since he’s just a little guy right now so you just get the original colonists

I gave Shelly and Finn full first names because I thought it would be neat. I also based all of their designs off of their skins both because they’re different than their canon counterparts (obviously, randomization doenst exactly make them accurate) and just because I can. Also based off of what they look like in game (Hence why Shelly is blue and why Finn’s darker)

Anyway, Shelly got mauled by a Lynx. She ended up having to stay in the hospital that was originally set up for when Scraps had Hewie (because I didn’t want to go through Shelly cooking her own child again)…which also happened around the time that some visitors from another colony came, and then one got attacked by a raider, got an infected wound and then left after three days with his injuries still.

Scraps, as mentioned, had a kid! Hewie! This time he actually ended up being a boy…also I accidentally forgot to set Scraps Kitkind traits as inheritable so, Woops, Baseliner. Kind of fits I guess. At the very least I can say she’s doing her best.

Finn is just the one who does most of the manual labor while everyone is trying to get their shit together because he can’t fight. Also he has portals apparently but I haven’t really done much with those yet. Also he and Shrimpo got married!

Speaking of Shrimpo she (once again she’s a girl, because transfem Shrimpo <3) has had a very eventful time.

So it all started when the walk in fridge was being built. There was a Cougar nearby, and the colony started with a pet. A cat which had been in the same pod as Shrimpo, so I named him Brick. Then the cat was fucking eaten. So already Shrimpo’s cat died barely a week into the existence of the colony. Then a guy from a broken empire (forgot if that was the name) came by being chased by a man eating rat and offered a royal title if the colony protected him so I thought “why not”, and since half the colony was psychically Deaf/Dull I just went for the first one who wasn’t, which was Shrimpo. So she ended up being given a royal title. Then they came back to give her a psylink. So now she has psychic powers (flame based since she’s a pyromaniac…ironically enough). Then everyone started getting pissed about not having a Qaudi (kinda cleric?) so I decided to set Shrimpo as that because of her psychic abilities (also because she’s the best healer…which isn’t saying much but we take what we can get), she and Finn then got married after that. Oh also before all this (besides the cat dying, this happened after) she got beaten up by a raider and nearly kidnapped before Shelly beat the shit out of them and then she spent three days in a medical emergency, which was before the hospital was built.

Also Shelly and Scraps got together really quickly again! They aren’t fiancée’s yet but they are girlfriends.

Been playing Rimworld lately so uh

Have this drawing of the colony I made today solely so I could draw Fossilcraft and Shrimpbowl scenarios…but considering how things are going the Fossilcraft will probably be fluffy and the Shrimpbowl will probably be angsty. Oh well.

I have my game modded which is why literally none of their species are in basegame

Scraps got seperate from Goob at some point and was the one who initiated the relationship with Shelly, I love them their relationship is 100+ and it’s only been a day (though that might be because Shelly genetically has Angelic Beauty)

I forgot to change Shelly’s last name in the character creator. Woops. So she has two last names now. Made her a Drakonori since that was the closest thing I had in my modded species list to dinosaurs (could have made her Helixan like Shrimpo since. Shell, snail. but I thought this was more fun.) She’s got wings to glide with! Also thought it would be fun to make Hewie exist so uh…congrats to the soon to be moms!

Finn and Shrimpo were made a couple in character creation. Mainly because I wanted to raise the chance of Fossilcraft happening. Here’s the thing. Finn has flirted with everyone in the colony. Mind you, he’s dating Shrimpo. And in game it’s only been a day. Both times he was rebuffed, and then five seconds later the two girls who rebuffed him became girlfriends. Then Shrimpo tried hooking up with him, he rejected, not even a few seconds later he’s trying to hook up with her, which she rejects. Finn I love you but why.

Shrimpo <3, made her female in game because I will never let go of transfem Shrimpo. I didn’t make her Helixan on purpose it kind of just happened. But sounds about right. Unfortunately due to her being a Helixan, Finn is the only one who likes her currently…which isn’t saying much because he tried cheating on her twice. Wasn’t expecting Toxic Shrimpbowl when I decided to make a Rimworld colony with my favorite ships but here we are.

So I made a few Rimworld colonies other than the Fossilcraft/Ragebait one (aka Craft Corner) so I’m going to make a post for each one

Starting with the commons (+ two random guys who showed up)

This one ended up being a…slightly altered version of the Mechanitor (aka I gave them slightly more food and, of course, people)

Originally I was going to do this particular one with the mains but…well, I found a better set up for them :)

Boxten is the Mechanitor since he’s…kind of the only one who really feels like he’d have anything to do with machines of all these guys? Idk how I want to word this. Anyway he’s got his mechs Blue and Bandana (also I drew his Mechlink from memory because I couldn’t find a good red image and I didn’t want to look at him in game for this). He and Cosmo started dating and became Fiancé’s within like, 1-2 weeks…and he’s summoned horrors beyond human comprehension and is currently keeping one in a cage for studying. Yeah stuff happens. Somehow he’s the sanest one here besides the new comers…maybe. Not sure how sane they are yet

Poppy is the hunter who has been on the constant verge (and did have, she hid in the barracks for like two days…which was horribly timed because a raid happened) of a mental break because I have no clue how to appease her preference for tight, dark spaces. Also a bear started hunting Looey and since she’s the only one with a weapon she had to fight it. Considering she’s still alive you can guess who won. Also she was the only one capable of violence until the new arrivals came. Also the shattered empire quest came up and she got the rewards for it because she was the only one capable of violence so uh…congrats on the psychic powers!

Now before I talk about Looey you may notice someone is missing…and it mentions his mom was kidnapped. So the thing is when it comes to generating these guys the only thing I cared about pre-existing relationship wise was Canon/Semi-Canon relations when two characters were related (…which only came up really in the Uncommon group with RnD, and Rodger and Toodles). Anything else I didn’t really care and just left as long as I didn’t ship the characters. So Tisha ended up being Looey’s mom because I didn’t really want to generate either of them again. She was originally the hunter of the group since she had the best stats for it (and also because she was a Mind Devourer so she could traumatize raiders…at the cost of everyone including her son fearing her)…and then a raid happened where she did not win the fight, and the only other member who could do violence, Poppy, was going through a mental break and by the time she was out of it Tisha was already gone. So yeah. That happened.

Anyway Looey hasn’t really done much but he does wear a top hat. I didn’t draw it because I forgot but that’s fun.

Cosmo’s last name was completely a coincidence I didn’t give it to him he kind of just ended up with it. He is the cleric because he’s the healer (obviously), he’s also constantly having to do everything because half these guys are just. Not that great stats wise. Woops. He nearly got attacked by the bear but he managed to get inside and the way was blocked by Bandana (who was unfortunately damaged :( but Boxten fixed it!) At the very least he hasn’t started fires yet…. Maybe he’ll start one at the wedding/j

Yuu and Kooshyon are two tribe members who showed up after their tribe was destroyed and have the potential to join. They’ve only been in the colony for a day so I haven’t much to say on them but at least there’s more hands around…also had to come up with designs for them so I kind of just went off memory of their outfits and names (Yuu is a Yew berry and Kooshyon is a Cushion). Again. Not much to say

…

Oh and there’s the Eldritch horror in the cage outside the house. I’m calling it Dusty, in honor of Tisha’s feather duster. Not sure if I’ll draw a toon version of it but I’ll probably do it when I do doodle pages for these guys

i went to hunt down all ur fossilcrafts art the other day and dropped to my knees and made the most shocked face ever 💔

i wasnt into dandys world anymore :( thats all . Nothing serious
