starting to get frustrated that any time a person online expresses justified frustration about the current state of stadium ticket prices the response is some shit like "just see a local band for 10 bucks". yes you should see more local bands but, critically, big spectacle events are cool and being able to see a cherished live act or legacy band/artist you grew up with is too and these things used to be much more affordable!! like that was the whole fucking point is you could see someone in the nosebleeds and make a trade-off.

#also most mid-range shows for cool bands I'm going to are like 50 bucks because of fees. that is complain-worthy!#i have to ration how many shows i go to because not much is sub-35 bucks. like okay i want to see 5+ shows it adds up!#and its not bands fault in that weird middle ground- they deserve to be paid more!#like as someone into metal where its not cost-effective to tour esp considering international bands. my mindset is so much different #from a diy punk im sorry. im shelling out money for this shit. even the big guys are little guys without much venue support #my posts
