note: wow it feels like it’s been ages since i last did one of these (probably because it HAS been ages) but this has been in my drafts for a while & although there isn’t a good ending, i still wanted to publish what i alr have :) i hope you’ve all been well ❤️

his strong yet gentle hands were hitting every right spot in your back, causing your eyebrows to furrow in a pain that felt so good. his knuckles knead into a particular muscle that’s been tight for a week, and you jump slightly at the sensation.

“fuck,” you curse lowly, matt continuously working through the knot. you try to concentrate on the weight of his body straddling your ass, but matt knows exactly where to press your back, and this time you moan in pleasure.

“yes, that feels so good,” you mutter, dropping your head onto the mattress beneath you as you bask in the relieving sensation. your eyes shut sometime in the haze of your blissed out state, and you feel as though your body is blending into one with the mattress as matt massages all of your stress away. suddenly, he gets up, eliciting a groan from you at the sudden loss of contact. but he comes back moments later and returns to his spot, straddling your ass once again.

“why’d you—” the sound of a bottle cap opening and cool liquid dripping onto your back answers your question before you can finish asking it— a liquid you’re all too familiar with. oil. the smooth consistency allows matt’s hands to glide over the skin of your back, and you make no effort to hide the moan that passes through your lips.

he chuckles, “oh, sweetheart. don’t i know you so well?”

his words almost pull another moan from you, but you bite on your lip instead, knowing full well that matt is getting enough of a reaction from you already.

… *insert amazing ending*

no i don't think the daredevil tv show is as good as everyone says it is. no i don't think it's a masterpiece or some of the best tv because it is literally entirely based on something. like, it takes direct inspiration from something else; it is in no way, shape or form, entirely original. the net ratio of original ideas to taking sometimes entire scenes or conversations word for word, frame for frame from the comics is 1:2. and the writers who are having their work translated into live action do not get any kind of credit. s3 is always being referenced as based on born again in v1 by fans, the cast and the director but frank miller's name isn't in any of the credits. even the ableism in the show is the same kind of ableism as in the comics. like yes i think it's a good show, but it's no where nearly as great or incredible as people make it seem online. and no, i also don't think charlie cox should receive an award for playing matt murdock. save it for an actor who is actually blind and finally receives the opportunity to play a blind character and smashes the hell out of it

in like maybe 5 years, all the dd hype will die down and someone will post "hot take but i didn't really think zdarsky's runs were all that good" and every one in the comments/replies will be like "yeah honestly i didn't really like it", "yeah checchetto's art is great though" or "yeah it was only seen as really good cause of the art probably" and maybe everything will start being okay again

the person who rbed a (zdarsky's run) comic post of mine saying that the writers understood the characters (matt and frank) because my post was about fratt and they'd only ever interacted with live action posts previously... boy do i have some news for you

i was just typing up a reblog to a post because the post didn't make any fucking sense and as i was typing it up it was basically like shaking sand off of a snake that had tied itself into a knot and buried itself on a beach bro you are running in circles to find problems simply because you don't like something for unrelated reasons and you are trying to justify your dislike. JUST SAY YOU DON'T LIKE IT AND MOVE ON

nah the reason mike isn't dead is because we haven't gotten any mattfoggy-esque love confessions to butch from his inner monologue and by god is my witness marvel isn't letting him go unless they've given him homoerotic content
