Doing archives research and using the online search functions and filters and had a moment where I was like Wow This Is Exactly Like AO3. And then I was like. Yeah. Cause it's a FUCKING ARCHIVES IDIOT

#also i was like they should add these functions similar to ao3...#frowny face... our national archives could be set up better...#i am not in any way shape or form have a degree or anything similar for archival work but its a part of my job (among other things) to do #its like when I was there in person and one of the archivists on duty was a dude named John who had an english accent and i was like :OOO !!#to myself when i learned that cause Magnus Archives #im having a good time with this part of my job tbh #hugin rambles #archives #ao3 #actually tho pissed about the way our nat archives is set up. our provincial one is so much nicer. i know my way around it super well #why arent they set up similarly... wails despairingly #my poor excel sheets i had to reformat
