Of all the people she could have predicted that she would one day be friendly with, royalty had certainly never been anywhere near top of the list. But she supposed that given her new position as a tentative member of the Society she shouldn’t have been so surprise by the new dynamic she had established with the Prince of Wales. The pair of them had built up something of a rapport over social media, a friendly back and forth that had her feeling as though she knew him. 

Meeting him in person, however, was something new and she wondered if she should be nervous about a shift in dynamic. But she saw no reason to delay an introduction and close to approach him. “Your Royal Highness.” His title was said with both the respect she knew she was supposed to give and a light, teasing cadence. “Nice to finally meet you.”
