one of the ways peoples interpretations of jmart diverge (esp in season 5) is how people fill in the blanks

on the one end there's "everything we hear from them on the tapes is a fight or an argument, with martin constantly ignoring jons needs. and they were walking for a long time, so then just imagine all the stuff we -dont- hear. they're terrible for each other and the apocalypse just made it worse"

and on the other its "we only hear what's important to the plot or sufficiently dramatic, so what we hear are their worst arguments, and we can fill in the rest with more light-hearted fare. Like how we only heard about Martins and Jons bday parties in s5, when it would hurt us, or only the very start and very end of the weeks in the safehouse, but we can infer that between the tapes they had more relaxed and romantic moments. and if what we hear in s5 is the worst of it, they're doing pretty well, considering it's the literal end of the world'

I was wondering if I could request the BAU Team x Male reader (older then hotch)

Reader is an older agent an old case that not only went cold in the earlier part of their career starts popping up, dragging them and the team in and old scars reopened. Maybe the unsub has a bit of an obsession with reader, maybe the murders the unsub leaves are all specifically ment for reader in some form? It be interesting to wonder how the team would react

"Your secret admirer leave you a name yet?" Morgan teased, though his tone was less jovial as he covered his nose. You glared at him, then turned your attention back to the scene around you—butchered hearts carved out to resemble roses, scattered poetry, no witnesses, no clues to a break-in, just a couple enjoying dinner together before being tragically struck down—the comparisons were hard to ignore. You'd rather not point the finger towards the Heartbreaker, but the details were nearly identical, bar the newly added poetry. But that was relative as the subject matter remained the same—unrequited love, star-crossed lovers, secret affairs—an unsub so terrifyingly infatuated with you.

"I don't know if I could say it's the same person," Gideon remarked, "M.O.'s the same, the poetry could be a new addition or a deviation from the original songs." The poetry was all handpicked from various authors, all meant to convey the subject matter.

"The original songs were handwritten, though, weren't they?" Hotch inquired.

"Handwritten, original songs with details about my life, down to the bedroom of my then apartment at the time," you sneered. The Heartbreaker had stalked you; there was no doubt about it. They'd killed every month, with each song leaving important and identifiable details of something you'd done, seen or been part of that month. Whatever profile existed was a mismatch of assumptions strung together haphazardly over the years.

"Or mother to daughter," Elle added.

"Father to daughter, mother to son, mentor to protégé," Gideon rambled, "whoever it was then and is now, clearly has romantic delusions surrounding Agent Allaway."

"Right, but why did they stop in the first place?" J.J. inquired, "And why are they starting back up again?"

"Good question," Gideon pondered, turning to you," What changed?"

He's got the brightest smile and warm eyes and this mischievous playfulness. He runs off at first--startled, scared. But then once he's calmed, the first real word he says other than Empty is Love. And right after that he calls out for his Magician, for this man who did everything he could to save him, held him close and kissed him so tenderly on the forehead--

And Caleb throws his arms around Essek and Veth and just watches the Nein all descend on Tealeaf and embrace him amidst laughter and tears and Molly's starting to smile again and Caleb's so so happy just to see him finally alive and.

In that moment, Essek understands why they came all this way--

AFO targeted the Shimura's in the first place because he wanted to break All Mights spirit so he can take OFA back. Not only would revealing that Hana is the granddaughter of Nana Shimura would be punch to the gut, but to also have her look like her own grandmother? That would make All Might fall to his knees.

Can I be honest though? Also found it weird how in 419 AFO said he skipped over her because she was too old and yet we see the back up orphan children he had in 350 look a lot older than she was and he still considers them to be good candidates so.... 🤷

Fairly easy!

I like coming up with names and I also think I’m pretty damn good at it lmao

The only thing that might give me pause is last names because I like them to roll off the tongue, but that’s nothing a little scrolling cant fix.

PLEASE ASSIST IVE BEEN UP FOR HOURS

I'm looking for a blog here from years ago that was an independent artist who made a long, full color comic/art book blog about basically mixed species bipedals. It starts, however, outside of a big city in the ocean with a girl raised by half orcas who warn her to stay away from the city because the people there are dangerous or something and she slips into the city despite the warning. She's immediately called from the water canal by basically the internal rules people, and she gets out to explore. The thing ended before they ever finished, and the art is amazing and whimsical and please.

They made an entire blog just for this comic and even released an art book, and I bought it, but it's been so long that I can't remember the name! Can anyone help? Does anyone recognize this description at all???
