I was waiting for the NBC Primetime angles to confirm whether Sabrina went OOB or not and she was clearly in bounds omg. FIG actually robbed her. She would have been 13.8 and won bronze without the 0.1 ND.

AA final: Suni goes OOB on vault, but line judge misses it & she avoids 0.1 ND
FX final: Sabrina stays in bounds on floor, but line judge incorrectly calls it OOB
Missing out of bounds is one thing, but inventing one is way worse. Giving gymnasts the benefit of doubt or missing deductions in real time is one thing. Inventing deductions that don't exist is completely worse.
Even if FIG never changes the results, they need to give an explanation for what the ND is and change things so there is robots, sensors, video review, you're able to inquire NDs, etc. so this doesn't happen again.
This is like the most blatant error FIG has ever made because e score and even d scores or incorrect start values can be subjective. OOB is completely objective, you're either in or out and Sabrina was in.
Also I feel like this is worst even then what happened to Yang Tae-young since they didn't file an inquiry until the competition was over. Sabrina's coaches immediately filed an inquiry and even tho d scores are for inquiry only that has to change. Also Nadia isn't a coach or part of the federation but she allegedly complained about the score immediately too and chief judge told her Sabrina went OOB but they were literally lying.

Random robot animation tips
(specifically for looping animations)
The following tips have been gained The Hard Way™️ over the course of several weeks. They won't really teach someone how to animate, though practice absolutely will! Also, I am not an artist, have never trained to draw, nor do I do any drawing outside of pixel art, so take these with a grain of salt.
Before animating
Have a concrete vision for your animation - REALLY visualise it in your head before you even start animating
Draft a nice neutral pose and then completely get the core design exactly how you want it
Simpler parts with less details (specifically on the scale of single pixels) may look worse when static but will look a lot better animated
General
Animate one part at a time - start with the "core" part of the animation and build around it
Sometimes this will be the part with the longest loop, other times it will be the most complex part of the animation, and sometimes it may even be the part of the robot to which everything else is anchored
Sliding entire layers around is noticeably cheap without some window-dressing - this can be easily hidden either by retouching the outline to alter the object's shape or by animating the surrounding parts
Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and completely redraw parts across multiple frames. The effort is well worth it, though!
Loose parts should lag behind the main motion by a frame or two, where possible. Sometimes if something is bobbing up and down rapidly, this isn't feasible, so have it lag at the start and ends of the animation instead.
Layers
It's OK to draft your initial design in a single layer, but the sooner you split it up into different layers, the less headaches you will have later down the line
Make a new layer whenever something needs to move independently from something else. Legs and arms are obvious but if a sensor lens inside a socket is going to rotate, keep the lens on a separate layer
Have a blank layer for "fx" - particles, swooshes, anything transient
Frames
Ensure your frame count is an even number. This is key for smooth loops.
If you absolutely, positively, cannot have an even number, at the very least don't use a prime number of frames!!!
Play with duplicating frames in key places to see if they make motions and pauses look more impactful. Likewise, deleting frames can make things feel snappier
Polish
Always have your little preview window open and animating at the correct animation speed and resolution, and check it often
Related to this - have a problem with how something moves? Fix it NOW before it becomes a problem later. It's like building a house on a shaky foundation, as each frame of the animation is predicated on the previous!
Run the animation at high speeds every once in a while - your eyes will be good at catching weirdness or inconsistencies across frames by detecting flickers
When pixels jitter back and forth over multiple frames, or a reversal in motion is too sharp, I find this generally looks bad and should be corrected
Get someone or multiple someones to have a look over your animations throughout the process. Having friends who can actually draw are invaluable beyond words
I'm sure some of these tips are applicable to animation in general too! Hope you found them helpful (or at least, interesting)!

A concept for a Furby costume illustrated by Studio FX (archived link here). They created store displays for Furby, MLP, and Playdough in Poland.
The file name for this image was "big-furby-kostium-Hasbro-street-event-costume-studio-FX-animatronika-animatronic-1200x818.jpg", and the website just has this image with no context. It was categorised on the website under "Robotics and Animatronics".
I don't know if this Furby costume actually got made. You could move the eyes, ears, and mouth. It was supposed to have an aluminium frame, with the person inside the costume wearing a backpack. Its face was going to be made from plastic, and the black 'sensor' on the faceplate (Idk what to call it) was supposed to let the wearer see.
Also, they used a listing pic of an Easter Furbling.
#edit: forgot the listing pic of the Furbling is CGI#furby#furby fandom#furby community#furblr#safe furby#all furby#furby concepts#furby concept art#furby furblings

Art doesn’t require the best equipment, I know… and many wonderful artists start with nothing. I was lucky to find a beautiful, video-capable camera to expand on and play with my pre-existing understanding of photo and video arts.
I love Nikii. She’s a beautiful camera with such potential I could only ever dream of fully harnessing.
I always imagined a Sony for me… and Sony’s E mount system does fill me with envy at times. This Z6ii is a full-frame goddess equipped with everything I could ever hope for to taste the mirrorless world from my prior film and consumer digital camera experience.
Besides, the Z system has lenses hailed as the most crisp and beautiful glass on the market.
…also, yes… I will be buying a cropped sensor Sony for everyday experimentation with much cheaper lenses. The Sony a1 line and FX line are my dream cams after all… full-frame anyway.
We won’t talk about medium format today.
This return to form required letting go of other people’s expectations, imposed values and even getting rid of some unwanted things I let people convince me to invest in; a drum kit for one. My only comfortable instruments were always my voice, my heart, a pencil, qwerty keyboard and a camera… so I now have mics and cameras with pencils and qwerty keyboards as support.
It sucks to lose your heart in self-sacrifice believing it’s for a common community goal.
Now, with therapy and introspection I find again my roots of self-expression. Nikii sets that beautiful road before me and I’m forever grateful for her presence in my life. Promise I’ll focus on a Z8 line upgrade before I cheat with Sony.
Okay… well maybe I’m polycamera-ous.

"A NEW WAY OF DOING THE SAME THING" -- "ATTACK OF THE CLONES" AT 20 AND THE DAWN OF DIGITAL CINEMA.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on more films stills of "STAR WARS: Episode II – Attack of the Clones" (2002), American epic space opera film and the second installment of the Prequel Trilogy directed & co-written by George Lucas. 20th Century Fox/Lucasfilm Ltd.
Cinematography: David Tattersall
Visual FX: Industrial Light & Magic
FUN/AOTC FACT: "Episode II" employed the first digital cinema camera.
OVERVIEW: "To create a motion-picture without photographic film, Lucasfilm needed a camera equipped with digital sensors that captured and stored imagery on high-definition tape. The resolution of this imagery needed to at least match -- preferably exceed -- the quality of standard 35mm film. The ability to digitally capture, transfer, and edit motion-picture footage would drastically increase the efficiency and flexibility of the filmmaker, something Lucas was eager to do.
Video-based camera systems had been commonplace in broadcast media and other fields for years, but faced skepticism among some feature film cinematographers and directors. Lucasfilm first used Sony’s “digi-beta” cameras to shoot behind-the-scenes material on "The Phantom Menace." Select pick-ups from that movie were then captured using one of the company’s digital cameras, and were seamlessly integrated with the rest of the film.
For "Attack of the Clones," Lucasfilm convinced Sony to develop cinema cameras that captured digital footage at 24-frames per second, the same as traditional film cameras. This intrepid effort involved engineers from multiple continents, collaborating with Lucasfilm’s staff, including high-definition supervisor Fred Meyers, post-production and technical supervisor Mike Blanchard, and cinematographer David Tattersall.
The new cinema cameras were first-of-their-kind prototypes. Lucasfilm had barely a year to finalize their design with Sony, which included custom lenses built by Panavision. The four cameras arrived (serial numbers 00001 to 00004) only days before the commencement of shooting. The crew had to relearn their jobs, and the set was buried in miles of cable, but they worked. Even in the sun-baked deserts of Tunisia, they worked."

Title: IV Cuteness - Chowder
Chowder now celebrates "Sweet Sixteen", both his show (created by my idol Mr. C.H. Greenblatt) 🍴🧑and my artwork in his Cuteness Member - IV leader! 😁🟣🤖
Chowder AGE-FX has a upgraded equip armor from his original.🙂 Replacing his "C-Funnel" system, with the "A-Funnel" system is the newly armament. 😁
AGE-FX Chowder AGE-FX (A-Funnel Equipment Type) Came from the real: AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX (A-Funnel Equipment Type) [CLICK ME!].
Armaments:
A-Funnel • A remote weapon armed with a single DODS cannon and 2 beam torches, a total of six A-Funnels are mounted on the legs, shoulders, and waist. The beam torches are for cutting through tough objects while the DODs cannon is capable of precise shooting. When the beam torches' limiter is released, an extendable handle is deployed from the back of the A-Funnel and the beam blades merged and lengthened, turning the Funnel into a large handheld beam saber.
• The A-Funnel is also fitted with various types of sensors and a high-precision camera, allowing it to gather a large amount of information. It is equipped with a dedicated AI system and is fully autonomous (although this is not the case initially), however their main control still lies with Cuteness Member. When mounted to the AGE-FX, the A-Funnels can function as gun turrets and all their abilities are also enhanced.
Beam Sabers • One beam saber is stored in each of the AGE-FX's arm shields, they can only be deployed directly from the shields for rapid draw-and-strike purposes.
Stungle Rifle • The beam rifle used by AGE-FX. It has two main modes: Normal Mode, where it functions as a regular high-powered rifle firing pink beam blasts similar to the SigMaxxis Rifle, and Charge Mode, where the side barrel parts are expanded to release a more powerful charged blue blast that can shoot right through obstacles many times larger than itself. The Stungle Rifle has a limited amount of shots, enough to keep a running battle going for some time, but eventually repeated use without resupply will rendering the weapon useless.
Daidal (or Diedal) Bazooka • This mode of the Stungle Rifle adds a large bazooka attachment, allowing AGE-FX to fire a stronger version of the Stungle Rifle Charge Mode's blue blast without any charging.
Special Feature(s):
Psycho-Follow System • The Psycho-Follow System is a new system, which presumably allows the AGE-FX to keep up with its X-Rounder pilot and enables him to control the A-Funnels.
FX Burst Mode • A new mode, which was just recently installed into the Chowder's AGE-FX. In this mode, the accuracy of its attacks is decreased, but its mobility is higher than before, allowing AGE-FX to single-handedly wipe out large groups of Vagan forces. In order to enter this mode, the X-Rounder pilot must activate the protocol to change into FX Burst Mode.

Sunday July 1, 2012 was a day filled with unexpected guests in my house. Egle arrived for her second test using the guest bedroom to change and get ready. She was one of eight faces I tested when home, living (2005-15) in Naples, Fl.
I felt DX (APS-C sensor) was appropriate pulling both my Nikon D2H (4.1 MP) and D2X (12.4 MP) vs my FX (full frame) bodies for this test. Before we headed out to Freedom Park this series of images were shot in my lanai with my Nikon D2H. Unlike pixel peepers today, who would look down on 4.1 MP images. It was not an issue when shooting head shots when no cropping is needed.

1. Unmatched Resolution
The D800E is equipped with a 36.3-megapixel FX-format CMOS sensor that omits the optical low-pass filter (OLPF) for enhanced image sharpness and detail. This absence of an anti-aliasing filter gives the D800E the edge when it comes to razor-sharp image detail—ideal for landscape, studio, and fine art photographers.
2. Professional Build Quality
Built like a tank, the D800E’s magnesium alloy body offers robust durability while maintaining a manageable weight. Weather sealing ensures that it holds up even in harsh shooting environments. Whether you're hiking through forests or capturing fashion in the rain, this camera performs reliably.

Landscape photographers looking for rich detail and edge-to-edge sharpness
Studio professionals who need consistent, high-res output
Product and macro photographers where every pixel counts
Fine art creators working on large prints and gallery-quality images
