who are your favorite people to see at events? or the most entertaining?

Oooh, darling! This is a wonderful question. 

Let’s begin by talking fashion. 

As I’m certain all of you know, Monsieur Arturo de Marin is typically a Gigi Favorite™ if for the fashion alone. Not to discount the absolute lunacy of his antics, but  have you seen the man dress up for an event? It is blissful chaos. Though I do wish he would release his shirts by just a few more buttons. 

Lately, I have been keeping an eye on that songbird, Calinda Barbosa. I just cannot help but love that haircut, not to mention the makeup. We should all look to her should we need fashion advice, if we’re being honest with ourselves. She almost looks as good as, well, moi. 

I also love any chance I get to catch a glimpse of Zanni Lionce. He approaches fashion with such an avant garde idealism. The skirts, the jewelry, the trinkets… everything Zanni wears is eye catching, yet somehow he still manages to blend in if you aren’t looking for him. He is certainly a favorite of mine as far as Looks™ go. 

Now, let’s discuss the chaos. 

As for entertainment value, Anthony Holst never disappoints. Who will he have on his arm – or in his lap – by the end of the evening? Will it be Amelie, Charlotte, Elsie? Who can predict? It could be quite the game. Take a shot when you see a dame hanging all over him. A one-way ticket to alcohol poisoning. 

Jonas is another to watch out for. Will he show up under the influence, or will he wait until he gets there to begin imbibing? Where, exactly, does he get the funds for such indulgences? Perhaps a wealthy benefactor who enjoys his music and his charm? Who’s to say? And once he has reached a peak among the clouds, will he finally kiss Marie? That’s what I’d like to see.

Honorable mentions for dramatique antics include M’selles Carmen Morena and Luciana Gatti. Keep an eye on your pockets and purses, ladies and gentlemen. They may be a few francs lighter should the little one bump into you.
