🚀 Segundo levantamento da GeekHunter o mercado de tecnologia teve no ano de 2020 um aumento de 310% em novas oportunidades, isso no ano da maior crise da história do país. 📆 Todos os dias eu agradeço por lá em 1996 ter escolhido um computador como meu brinquedo favorito, e lá em 2001 ter escolhido o curso de Ciência da Computação, mesmo sem saber muito bem sobre o que era o curso, hoje 20 anos depois eu descobri e tenho certeza que fiz a escolha de melhor custo benefício possível. 🤑 Sim custo benefício, eu realmente acredito que a escolha de um curso é um investimento, e como todo investimento é necessário calcular o retorno, e poucas área podem ter um retorno sobre investimento tão alto como tecnologia. 👨‍💻 Eu falo todos os dias aqui sobre as oportunidades nesse mercado e tenho certeza que essa é uma matemática de soma infinita, ou seja quanto mais pessoas entrarem na área, mais oportunidades estarão disponíveis para todos. 🖼️ Ah, essa foto aí é de 2007, a primeira vez que visitei a loja da Apple lá na quinta avenida em Nova York, e quem estava pagando era a empresa, um dos muitos sonhos que a Tecnologia me permitiu realizar! KEN RATRI: KEGAGALAN ITU POTENSI UNTUK DIKEMBANGKAN
Sosoknya yang tengah duduk dan berbicara di depan para peserta seminar itu terlihat manis dan menawan. Para peserta, yang didominasi kaum pria pun Nampak fokus memerhatikan materi yang dipaparkan. Mungkin sambil sesekali curi pandang ke arah panelisnya. Dengan sekali-dua kali diselingi guyonan, dara cantik itu berkisah kepada hadirin di acara seminar Ignition Gerakan 1000 Startup Digital, Sabtu (5/11). Dengan suara yang penuh passion namun tetap anggun, ia berbagi mengenai pengalamannya menjalankan bisnis startup yang dirintisnya bersama rekannya Yunita Anggraeni itu.
Ia adalah Ken Ratri Iswari. Dara kelahiran Bandung ini merupakan founder sekaligus CEO GeekHunter, sebuah perusahaan startup yang bergerak di ranah rekrutmen tenaga IT dari Indonesia untuk disalurkan ke perusahaan skala startup hingga kelas dunia. CEO GeekHunter yang akrab disapa Ken ini mengungkapkan bahwa sejak kecil dirinya memang sudah bercita-cita untuk menjadi entrepreneur.
“Aku memang selalu bercita-cita buat jadi entrepreneur. Buktinya itu waktu itu aku sempat beres-beres buku-buku aku sejak zaman SD dan disana aku pun ternyata nulis “pengusaha” sebagai cita-citaku,” ceritanya sambil bernostalgia.
Namun, jalanannya untuk sampai sukses seperti sekarang ini tidaklah mulus. Sebelum menjadi entrepenuer sebenarnya karir Ken sangat cemerlang. Ia sudah mapan dan bekerja di perusahaan swasta internasional dengan gaji yang tak sedikit pula. Akan tetapi, ia menyadari bahwa passion dan panggilan jiwanya yang sebenarnya bukan ada di sana. Yang paling berat, keputusannya untuk menjadi entrepreneur bahkan ditentang oleh kedua orangtuanya.
“Saat itu, orangtua praktis pada ngamuk-ngamuk semua karena maksudnya mereka pasti lebih happy anaknya kerja di perusahaan yang lebih stabil kan. Apalagi waktu itu kan lokasi kerjanya jauh di Bali,” tuturnya.
Yang menguatkannya saat itu adalah niatnta untuk membuktikan bahwa ia bisa sukses dalam jalan yang sudah dipilihnya sendiri. Ia meminta waktu kepada orangtuanya agar memberinya waktu selama satu tahun untuk membuktikan tekad dan usahanya. Setelah direstui, Ken yang saat itu sudah bertekad bulat dan siap kehilangan segalanya pun memulai langkahnya di dunia startup.
Saat memulai berwirausaha, Ken pun menemui banyak rintangan. Ia berkali-kali mencoba, pernah berganti macam-macam startup, tapi menemui banyak kegagalan. Meski begitu, ia tetap fokus dan tidak mundur saja di sana.
“Kegagalan itu udah seperti makanan sehari-hari aja. Tapi justru itu, kegagalan aku waktu itu ya aku jadiin pembelajaran. Aku ubah itu jadi kesempatan dan tantangan buat aku dan aku improve dan kembangkan jadi jalan buat sukses,” jelas Ken. Akhirnya berkat kerja keras dan kegigihannya untuk membuktikan dirinya mampu, ia kini bisa sesukses sekarang.
Selain kesuksesannya sekarang, Ken juga mempunyai mimpi lain yang lebih besar. Ia ingin berguna bagi orang banyak dan memberikan sumbangsihnya bagi negara dengan menjadi menteri tenaga kerja Indonesia.
“Saya pengen 20 atau 25 tahun lagi lah, saya pengen jadi menteri tenaga kerja kkarena bidang saya di rekrutmen dan saya merasa regulasi-regulasi yang ada sekarang tuh memberatkan orang-orangnya atau perusahannya. Saya pengen Human Capital Index Indonesia naik dan ningkatin kualitas sumber daya manusia di Indonesia,” ujarnya tulus.
 TIPS: MAU MULAI STARTUP? COBA INI DULU
Ken Ratri Iswara, founder dan CEO GeekHunter, mengungkapkan bahwa untuk memulai startup itu tidak mudah. Jadi, kalau kamu ingin memulai startup, siapkan diri kamu dan simak tips berikut ini:
-          Tanya diri sendiri dan perkuat niat. Langkah ini tentu penting karena tanpa niat, pacar pun enggak akan mendatangi kamu dengan sendirinya, apalagi kesuksesan. Yang penting, perjelas niat kamu. Tanyakan pada diri kamu sendiri, dengan tujuan apa kamu mau mulai startup? Pastikan bahwa kamu memang ingin berusaha, bukan hanya latah karena ikut hype startup yang sedang populer saja.
-          Percaya diri. Sebelum kamu mulai melangkah, kamu tentu sudah punya niat. Tapi itu saja belum cukup. Kamu harus percaya bahwa ini yang kamu inginkan dan kamu bisa mewujudkan niatmu. Jika ada yang meragukan atau menstereotip kamu, jangan dimasukkan ke hati. Yakinkan diri bahwa kamu bisa.
-          Evaluasi potensi. Segala sesuatu yang dimulai dari minat dan didasari oleh kemampuan pasti akan terasa lebih mudah dan enjoy. Karenanya, cara termudah memilih jenis startup yang mau kamu mulai adalah dengan mengevaluasi minat dan potensi kita, tapi tetap harus melihat kesempatan di sekeliling kita ya.
-          Siap kerja keras. Jadi entrepreneur itu tidak mudah lho. Buktinya, hanya 2% penduduk Indonesia yang bisa jadi entrepreneur. Oleh karena itu, jika mau jadi entrepreneur, kamu harus siap kerja keras dan tahan banting.
-          Jangan mundur. Semua pasti pernah gagal dan mendapat hambatan. Coba lagi dan belajar dari kesalahan dan kegagalan kamu. Terus improve dan berkembang.

Pandemia aumenta procura por serviços de armazenamento em nuvem

Devido a pandemia do novo coronavírus, as empresas tiveram que correr para se adaptar ainda mais aos recursos tecnológicos. Com a maioria de seus profissionais atuando por home office, as organizações precisaram migrar seus arquivos para o armazenamento em nuvem, de modo que suas equipes pudessem acessar de onde estivessem. Segundo estudo realizado pela empresa de consultoria Gartner Group, até 2025, 80% das empresas migrarão para essa tecnologia. Consequentemente, a procura por profissionais especializados será maior no mercado de trabalho.  O profissional que atende a essa demanda é o arquiteto de nuvem ou arquiteto de cloud, responsável por realizar a transferência dos arquivos, serviços e sistemas empresariais das empresas para o armazenamento digital. Apesar da demanda, o mercado de trabalho ainda sofre com a escassez de profissionais habilitados e especializados nessa nova profissão. Os salários podem variar de R$ 4 mil a R$ 25 mil reais e as ofertas por postos de trabalho só aumentam. De acordo com o coordenador dos cursos de Tecnologia da Estácio Natal, Emmanoel Monteiro, este tipo de tecnologia já vem crescendo nos últimos dez anos e a tendência é que siga em ascensão no pós-pandemia. “A pandemia alertou para a necessidade de redesenhar os ambientes de computação. Na Estácio, nós temos dois cursos com foco em tecnologia de nuvem, são eles: Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas e Redes de computadores. É uma especialização cada vez mais procurada no mercado de tecnologia”, pontua. A plataforma de recrutamento GeekHunter, que reúne profissionais de tecnologia de todo o mundo, aponta um aumento de 50% na procura por esses profissionais. Ainda segundo esse levantamento, mais de 90% das empresas já possuem algum serviço em nuvem. “Os nossos cursos contam com a disciplina de Computação em Nuvem e Web Services em Linux, específica para a formação dos arquitetos de nuvem.
