Hey Geeks! So we are going to steal an idea from some fellow artists in an effort to help out an amazing organization. GeeKitties Cat Rescue in Burbank has help thousands of animals (not just cats) find their forever homes and we're hoping to help them save a few more. It's kitten season, so they are swamped with fur babies looking for families. We know adopting a cat is a lot of work, but there are other ways we can help support this group. So, with that thought, we're doing our #HelptheKitties drive. Between now and July 5th (or the first 20 people, whichever comes first) anyone who makes a minimum donation of $15 (more is always welcomed) will get one of our Goose dolls shipped to them free. Here's how this works: 1. Visit @geekitties to Amazon shop (they love giftcards) or @geekyteasandgames to make a donation through the shop page. 2. Make a donation of $15 or more and get a screen shot or the emailed receipt. 3. Send it to craftygeekgirls@gmail.com with Subject #HelptheKitties and your shipping information. 4. After you've received your Goose doll please make sure to post a picture of your new friend tagging us, @GeeKitties and using the hashtag #HelptheKitties so we can continue to get support for this group. Hey Geeks! So we have a few events coming up that we wanted to share, if you're near the Burbank, CA area for either of these we'd love for you to join in the fun. Event #1: This Sunday, March 25th we're helping run a Blood Sucking Bingo Night @geekyteas. It's $5 dollars to enter the raffle, $5 for extra tickets. Bingo game play is free. We'll have raffle and cosplay contest prizes donated from some of the local artist who attended the Craft Faire earlier in the month. Please come out in your best Vampire Cosplay and join in the fun. Hey everyone! Here are some up coming events that we'll be at, for the next few months. Frist off, this weekend Feb 15-17, we'll be at the Marriott Los Angeles Airport Hotel at  @gallifreyone helping at the @geekyteas tables, so come on by, say hi, get some geeky tea, and maybe a sticker or two to help rise money for @geekitties Then the weekend after Feb 22-24, we'll be back again at @condorcon at the Handlery Hotel in San Diego, CA, and we'll be journeying to the many realms beyound the looking glass. Maybe we'll have some tea with the Mad Hatter. March 8-10, we'll be at The Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ, hanging at @kikoricon enjoying the fun of anime, and maybe we'll get to play in some snow again. From anime to steampunk, April 12-14, we'll be back at the Handlery Hotel in San Diego, CA, for @thegaslightgathering And last, but not least, (at the moment), is the wonderful @phoenixfanfusion at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ, happening May 23-26. We'll be up on the 3rd floor in the Hall of Heroes.
