GenCon 2015 was AMAZING!

So I realize this is a week late, but work kept me busy… So Gen Con, so much fun! First and foremost, I was able to see my amazing fiance and cats for four days, as well as some friends that I’ve not seen since last con. I learned more about GM'ing fun games (that I don't play that often…), and saw a burlesque show for the first time ever. Boy that was enjoyable. “Boy-lesque” it’s a thing, look it up.

I also played Pathfinder for 4 hours and it was a blasty-blast. Iron GM is such a fun time, and kicker is that Kevin and I played the winning game! Our GM, Coyboy Hat (I will leave you to guess who he is in the picture) was an amazing GM and we had an awesome team of players. :)

I have to say though, the absolute highlight of my Con experience was meeting figmentforms! Shes an amazing artist and author of “A Tale of Two Rulers”. Oh gosh I was so worried I’d miss her cause I couldn’t find her booth, but I found it….And then proceeded to bother her. I’m sorry. I was just really excited.

We talked Zelda, Gannondorf, and some art stuff. I bought a sketchbook and bookmark from her and as a gift she drew me “Oldman-endorf”. And then, as the bother icing on the bother cake, I asked for a picture…while she was on break (I’m sorry). What was cool was I had stopped her at a booth where she designed one of the games box art. A salesman took the picture and then tried to sale me the game (Dominion Adventures) but sadly I am broke… But the guy was so amazing, he just handed me the game! I about cried! And it was one Kevin and I didn’t have and it just made my day so much better!

It was such a fun con. I loved it. <3 and I’m sorry figmentforms for bugging you so much and thanks so much for humoring me!
