Chronoswiss is Gerd R. Lang; his initials are the logo. He is a legend and an icon; I vividly remember reading and rereading his 1992 book 'Chronograph Wristwatches: To Stop Time' while sitting in my dad's clock and watch shop. I also remember being obsessed with just about every 1990's and 2000's Chronoswiss release when reading about them in the latest WatchTime or IW (back in the old days when watch magazines were still a thing). Though Breguet always did guilloche dials it was Chronoswiss that brought them to the masses. Gerd is an inspiration to me in a lot of ways (and I think that @welsbrowatch will eventually reflect that).
