This thing in the nba media over the past couple years where they're so desperate for a dynasty that every post season theres a new "inevitable" dynasty is very annoying to me.
The bucks were "definitely" going to be a dynasty after 2021, haven't been out of the second round since.
The warriors were "set up to repeat" until drgr happened.
Last year's "no one can beat the nuggets in a seven game series" became this year's "the celtics have no competition in the east"
And now OKC is gonna win "6 or 7" rings before they've even got their first.

Pacer candles are finished + the Pacer Shrine is ready for the Eastern Conference Finals
#this is maybe the most unemployed behavior i've engaged in in a really long time#but this was a fun random one-day sidequest#i got coach carlisle + the five starters + five top bench guys#and then drew gets a second candle in case i need to summon nembhell specifically#i guess my altar is just going to be like this until the pacers season is over#i've had to put some of my normal crystals and my tarot and my planet lamp away for a little bit but i will survive#i got so much superglue on my fingers its not even funny#gethtxt#pacers#this is such a dumb bit lmao

Finished the shrine upgrades in time for Finals Game 2 ＼(＾O＾)／

was just having a conversation about how I've GOT to have an east and a west team cause otherwise I wouldnt have enough games that I'm legit excited to watch in the regular season and my friend's eyes basically bugged out of their head like "in what world is 82 games not enough"
