"And yet." He said it with every drop of venom that could be mustered. Bringing up Wendy was a low blow - an old blow - but Slightly couldn't help it. He didn't let things go, he didn't move on. He would drag her back into the past kicking and screaming, just to spite her, if he could. "Chasing after someone who has zero interest is more appealing than considering one more moment entertaining... you." He waved an insulting hand at her. His floor was finally coming up, thank whomstever. "But then again, watching paint dry is more appealing than you." He moved to leave, expecting the door to open when... it lurched.

Slightly's brow furrowed, his palm pressing against the still closed door. He suddenly swung around to face her, pointing accusatorially - "What did you do?"

Tina was willing herself to just stand there and roll her eyes, but Slightly's attempt at bigging up Peter made that impossible.

"I'm sorry, his 'Wendy Era'?" she snorted. Everything else that followed in the apparent attempt to bring her down went near enough unheard because she was too busy laughing. "That's hilarious.
