Una ginebra increíblemente exquisita y redondeada que trae la luz de Sevilla donde quiera que estés. Sírvela mezclada con tónica Premium y un gajo de naranja previamente exprimido. - St. Germain es un licor francés que se elabora a partir de flores de Sauco, un arbusto que crece en zonas húmedas cercanas a los Alpes y que florece durante 4-6 semanas al año. Se elabora de forma totalmente tradicional y artesanal. Las flores maceran con aguardiente de uvas (sobre todo blancas) de la zona de la Borgoña. Una vez maceradas, se procede a la destilación y una vez terminada ésta, una parte vuelve a destilarse. Back to the roots. Today I will have a Gin&Tonic again. Red pepper, raspberries in raspberry gin marinated, dehydrated lemon-wheels and a branch of mint I combined with @andtonicseattle tonic syrup and the gorgeous Bro's Gun Gin. It's a 40% vol.alc. (80proof) German dry Gin, made in Tübingen, Germany by @schwarzstoffcom The botanicals, which are use for are lime, juniper of course, coriander, anis,red pepper, ginger and some raspberries. By nose you will smell some fresh lemon or lime notes, a floral character, juniper and anis. By tasting it you get those lime notes and spices and a light ginger boost at the end. To get started for #prowein this year, I recap some experiences.

One of those is Western Son Vodka from Pilot Point in Texas, US.

Beside all kinds of flavored Vodkas I was impressed by the Pioneering Texas Gin. It's a 40%vol. alc (80 proof) him, which is destilled from corn.

By the nose you get a boost of freshness, which comes from a dominant cucumber smell which gives a mix of sweet and sour mashup with citrus notes and the typical juniper flavor.

By tasting the gin the character changes a little. You get less of the cucumber but more of the citrus flavor, which comes from Grapefruit, Orange peel and Tangerine. You can also get some herbal notes and as a light flavor at the end you taste cucumber.

Amazing is the change of character by aging. It gets more wooden flavor, the citrus is more dominating and there will be a roasted caramel taste, too
