I think they did a really good job with gnext Chrono! His design is very nice to look at. ❤️
It was very neat to see Chrono make another friendship outside of Try3 and Taiyou. The storytelling of him and Kazuma, especially during Z, is one of my favorites. Although I personally like his characterization in the previous seasons more, that's just personal preference, and I still enjoy him as a character during next-z quite a lot.

At best, I think it’s incredibly experimental and shaky and it’s clear they didn’t have a plan going in but ya gotta give them credit for trying in some parts...

Ok, Loook - this show has a hard time keeping my attention cuz nothing is fucking happening and it’s very episodic which isn’t terrible. For a 12 ep anime and not one that’s 180 eps.
It also doesn’t help that people been shoving it done my throat that it gets better in S3 which is fucking fantastic/s
Y’all know it takes 104 eps to get to that point? And even then, it’s fucking Yoshida writing which I’ve made it a point to say how much I fucking hate and it’s nooooo different here but it’s not like this is any worse writing than the rest of the show - its just as slow but it wants to be DEEP.
It’s also damn lucky that I like Judai cuz this show would be incredibly insufferable if I didn’t cuz they NEVER focus on any other goddamn character. he’s not my fav tho.. which makes it slightly annoying that I never see these other damn characters ever.
it’sjust... its not an engaging show and it’s so slooooow and while i like these characters just fine.... they arent enough to get me through this... fuck
