The shirt is back!! And the earring!!! 😭😭😭

Today was the last ep of Chiaki’s program Maomichi, after 1 year and 8 months. I’m sad. I enjoyed watching it every time!! 

He said he bought this shirt a year ago because he thought it’s cute (IT IS). And that it’s been a while since he’s been wearing his earring (you don’t say!), and it’s back now because it feels like summer~ YAY! Please keep it on... forever...~

Takapi: Prince Theater!

Yamati: As princes, we’re gonna show new princely characters to you through this corner.

Takapi: Yes. This time, we received a request from Trish-san -- we’ll be presenting you with a do-M prince!!

Yamati: (cheeky voice) So is that what you like, Trish-san~?

Takapi: (equally cheeky voice) Trish-saaaan~ Hyuu~!

Yamati: It probably is. Okay then. What kind of Do-M prince lies ahead? Prince Theater - start!

Attendant (Takapi): Prince!! What on earth are you saying??

Prince (Yamati): (murmuring) My attendant...earlier, I had...spoken of the kingdom’s secrets publicly.

Attendant: Even if you had done that, isn’t the punishment the King gave just too much!? Pronouncing a hundred lashes as punishment is just too absurd!

Prince: The one in the wrong here is me. Don’t hold yourself back, and please whip me with all your might.

Attendant: ... (gulps) ...Understood. Here I go-!

Prince: Ouch!

Attendant: (sobbing) PRINCE! Just as I’d thought, I cannot bear to do any more than this!!

Or maybe, he’s not a shota [character] but – you know the type, right? Those kinda pale, small, thin types, they’d also make good Ms too.

Takapi: There’s a lot of types, aren’t there.

Yamati: What kind of M would fit best, I thought of stuff like that.

goodbye, everyone, it was nice knowing you, i never ever thought i’d reach maximum death from café glass slipper, of all things, the non-yabai prince theme radio, but i guess i really literally brought this upon myself

OKAY SO THIS IS THE CONTEXT – all you have to do to get your request on prince theater segment is send in a trope you’d want em to portray as a prince character. for example, last month’s trope was a tsundere prince, sent in by another listener (konatsu-san?) but they also said lots of people sent in that trope too (confession: i was one of them).

now the ACTUAL LEGIT REASON FOR THIS ONE, is that in their episode two months ago (episode 4) a LOT OF PEOPLE requested for a do-S prince (yamati: “i wonder if all of you are M?”). so what drove me to do this was two parts wanting to learn how they’d do the flipside of that situation, and one part the fact that if i had to choose one or the other, i would most probably be an S—

for those of you unfamiliar with the terms – S is “sadistic”, M is “masochistic”, as described by yamati up there, the one who likes teasing and the one who likes being teased, respectively? western culture uses them with sexually-charged undertones, and japan uses em that way too but from what i’ve seen it could also refer to just pointing out if you’re more of an dominating person or a person who likes being bossed around? anyway

1) am i SERIOUSLY the only one who requested for this AM I SERIOUSLY (i was)

2) it doesn’t come out well in translation but i am obviously being roasted by these two LMAO

this shouldn’t be a footnote, but the closest thing i can get to that “whoo!!” sound takapi does in the beginning is “hyuu!!” and interestingly enough, i remember that “hyu hyu” in particular is a sound word used to react to something you find cute? what? on earth??? THERE IS NOTHING CUTE ABOUT THIS, BOY

“cabbage roll boy” – vegetable (‘herbivore’/gentle/passive) on the outside, meat (‘carnivore’/aggressive) on the inside, so considering takapi says he looks M but is S on the inside...

actually – this is the third month in a row that i’ve gotten mail on glass slipper, which is REALLY GODDAMNED AMAZING, considering my usual (bad) luck with sending in radio mails – the first one was takapi’s “reliable senpai” skit, which i translated here, the second was yamati’s “baritone” skit, which i plan on translating as soon as i make sense of ALL THE WORDS HE SAID when he ended up running his mouth, and the third one is this one.

I was squealing hard while watching their broadcast! They looked so good!

Takapi was the cute type. But Ama-chan. Ama-chan was HOT! Look at that tongue!! He was trying to look cute at first (all the different pouting made me scream, he was so funny, plus the secondhand embarrassment was real), but in the end I guess he settled for the sexy look LOL. Takapi asked him why he was drinking in such an eroi way, so he replied that he’s going for the onee-san look hahaha. 

Then they decided to take some photos and upload on Twitter (during the live broadcast). Ama-chan couldn’t stop moving and couldn’t decide on the perfect pose, I was LAUGHING. Takapi had to tell him: Amako, stop moving! XD
