How To Install The #SSLCertificate #webhostingindia #godaddyindia #buysslcertificate#domainregistrationindia 1.Order your SSL certificate.
There are several services online that offer SSL certificates. Make sure to only order from a reputable service, since you and your customer’s security is at stake. Popular services include DigiCert, fgrade.com, Godaddy.fgrade.com, and more. The best service for you will vary depending on your needs (multiple certificates, enterprise solutions, etc.). You will need to upload your CSR file to the certificate service when you order it. This will be used to generate the certificate for your server.
2. Download your certificates.
You will need to download the Intermediate Certificates from the service that you purchased your certificates from. You will receive your Primary Certificate via email or through the customer area of the website. Your key should look similar to this: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----
[Encoded Certificate]
-----END CERTIFICATE----- If the certificates are in a text file, you will need to change it to a .CRT file before uploading it Check the keys that you download. There should be 5 dashes “-” on either side of the BEGIN CERTIFICATE and END CERTIFICATE lines. Also ensure that there are no extra spaces or line breaks inserted into the key.
3. Upload the certificates to your server.
The certificates should be put in a folder dedicated to certificates and key files. An example location would be /usr/local/ssl/crt/. All of your certificates need to be in the same folder.
4. Open the “httpd.conf” file in a text editor. Some versions of Apache have an “ssl.conf” file for the SSL certificates. Only edit one of the two if you have both. Add the following lines to the Virtual Host section:[2] SSLCertificateFile /usr/local/ssl/crt/primary.crt SSLCertificateKeyFile /usr/local/ssl/private/private.key SSLCertificateChainFile /usr/local/ssl/crt/intermediate.crt Save the changes to the file once you are finished. Re-upload the file if necessary.
5. Restart your server. Once the file has been changed, you can start using your SSL certificate by restarting your server. Most versions can be restarted by entering the following commands: apachectlp stop apachectl startssl

Difference between Linux and Windows Hosting:
1.  Server-side applications:
Certain server-side applications will require Windows hosting such as those written in:
*** .NET. *** ASP *** ASP.NET *** MS SQL *** PHP *** MySQL *** Visual Basic development *** MS Access
Applications that Windows does not support:
*** WordPress *** Python *** Perl *** CGI *** WYSIWYG
Web Programming Languages that both Linux and Windows support:
*** PHP *** MySQL (although MySQL is more commonly used on Linux)
2.  Ease of use:
Accessing and managing your windows hosting server is quite easy. However, interacting directly with the Linux OS will require you to learn how to use the command line. Unless you have a Linux administrator to do this for you,  learning to integrate multiple pieces of software via the command line can be a challenge for beginners. To combat this, you choose from many GUI (Graphical User Interfaces) such as cPanel to interact with the OS.
3.  Control Panels:
Purchasers of Linux hosting packages can access the server through cPanel and WHM. Windows users will access their server through a control Panel known as Plesk.
4. Cost:
Being an open-source platform, Linux is free of cost. Linux hosting offered by web hosting providers is therefore more affordable than Windows hosting.
There are areas, however, where both Linux and Windows servers are equally matched, namely:
*** Speed *** Stability

What is Web Hosting?
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their website accessible via the World Wide Web.
What are the different types of web hosting?
Shared hosting: Perfect for entry-level website hosting.
Virtual private server (VPS) hosting: A VPS hosting service mimics a dedicated server but is within a shared hosting environment.
Dedicated server hosting: A dedicated hosting service, dedicated server, or managed hosting service is a type of Internet hosting in which the client leases an entire server not shared with anyone else.
Cloud hosting: Cloud hosting is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud delivery model that provides a suite of remote/virtual services. These are delivered on an on-demand basis and hosted on top of a cloud computing infrastructure.
Wordpress hosting: WordPress hosting is just hosting that has been optimized to better meet WordPress’ performance and security needs. It also typically includes one-click WordPress installs to make it easy to get started with WordPress. And some WordPress hosts will even automatically update your WordPress software as needed.
Windows Hosting: Windows hosting is website hosting that uses a Windows operating system. Because the most common web hosting plan options operate on Linux, you can usually assume that anytime a web hosting company doesn’t specify a plan is Windows hosting, it’s Linux hosting. For more

What are the WordPress Hosting Requirements and it's benefits?
The WordPress is a very light-weight script and it is compatible with almost all good web hosting companies. The simple requirements that WordPress put forth are:
*** PHP version 7 or greater *** MySQL version 5.6 or greater *** HTTPS support
Actually, WordPress will work on just about any ancient version of PHP, like “PHP 5.2.4+ and MySQL 5.0+”, but it’s not a good idea. These versions have reached the end of their life, but that isn’t the main problem. The main problem is that they may expose your website to many security vulnerabilities. This is the most crucial part.
If you’re using Wordpress hosting to run an eCommerce site that has money and a lot of personal information going through it, the last thing you want to do is expose it to security vulnerabilities.
Even though you can backport security, PHP7 has significant advantages that you just can’t access with version 5.2. Not to mention that it’s much faster and safer. If you don’t see any other benefit in upgrading to PHP7, then there’s the added speed and stability.
The main benefits of a WordPress optimized hosting plan are:
Speed: Your site will perform 10 times faster than it would on a regular server. Security: Any security issues you face will be patched up by a security expert. Tools: You’ll have access to plenty of tools that make it easier to manage a WordPress site. Support: You have WordPress-specific support options that aren’t available at regular hosting providers. A Proper Staging Environment: Spot mistakes faster than your website’s visitors do. For more

What are the steps involved in registering a domain? The steps involved in registering a domain are:
*** The first and the most important thing to find out is whether the name you have shortlisted is available or is taken by someone else. In order to check domain availability, you can do a domain search with a domain registrar. If the domain name is available for registration you can then move forward to claim it.
*** The next thing to do is to find a registrar. Before making a choice it is always advised to do quick research on different registrars. One can search from a number of options and see who offers the best price for registration. Registrars nowadays also offer different add on services in order to lure customers, so one can make a choice accordingly.
*** Once you have shortlisted the registrar you need to do a search for the domain on the registrar’s website. If the domain is still available for registration you can proceed further with the registration process. Click on add to cart, and proceed through the checkout process.
The only thing that is left to do is to make the payment for registration to the registrar. For more

What is Linux Web Hosting and it's advantages? Linux Hosting is any type of hosting using the operating system called Linux on the server. Linux is a Unix-like operating system provided as a free, open-source choice. Linux is the most common and widely used operating system in the web hosting industry.
Advantages of Linux Web Hosting:
*** Shared hosting plans come much cheaper compared to dedicated hosting and VPS which means that even websites for personal blogging and small businesses can afford it. *** The administration and maintenance of the server are taken care of by the hosting provider which means that you don’t need to concern yourself with technical issues of the server. *** You don’t need to possess any special knowledge in website and server administration as the hosting provider takes care of the administration chores. *** You get to be provided with a cPanel or other user-friendly application that are designed to make website management easy. *** You get multiple email accounts at your own domain as well as the option to have more than one database. *** You get MySQL and PHP support. *** Although a number of websites share the same resources, most shared hosting plans provide for around the clock supervision, maintenance and technical support that gives you uptime reliability almost comparable to dedicated plans. What is the difference between Shared Hosting and VPS Hosting?
Shared hosting means your site will share the same server as many other sites. It’s usually the cheapest option but comes with limited bandwidth, administration, and performance capabilities. VPS hosting is a more premium option, with the ability for greater customization and increased performance. But, as with any premium service, you’ll have to pay more to get more.
The key points to consider the difference between shared and VPS hosting are
Shared Hosting:
1.Server Resources:
When you share server resources with others, you’ll face some limitations. While no single account will impact another experience, there will be maximum available CPUs, memory/RAM, and disk space. Your website will not be able to use resources beyond the maximum allowed. This may not be a big deal if your website doesn’t require a ton of space or processing power.
2.Performance:
As with any shared plan, other websites could possibly affect your website’s performance – it’s the risk you run by opting for the more economical shared hosting plan. However, if your performance demands are limited and you value ease of maintenance, shared hosting will likely yield a higher return on investment.
3.Security:
While shared hosting is considered very safe, be aware that security breaches can occur simply because a common server cannot guarantee 100% security. The main reason for this is what we call the Noisy Neighbor problem — or the fact that when one shared hosting customer makes a mistake or experiences a technical difficulty, it’ll likely impact other sites because you are all sharing space on the same machine.
Customer support will likely also be limited compared with VPS hosting. However, if your site won’t require sensitive personal information from users, you shouldn’t have an issue with shared hosting.
4.Pricing:
With shared hosting, you defray the expenses associated with running and maintaining a server because you’re sharing server space with thousands of other websites. From a pure price point, shared hosting is the most economical choice and is a great option for those looking to host a site with standard functionality.
5.Server Administration:
If you choose to host your website on a shared server, there is little to no technical maintenance of the server required on your end. That means you can enjoy basic server administration for your website at no additional cost to your budget or your precious time. For many, this is a huge plus as no dedicated system administrator is needed.
6.Scalability:
While shared hosting is a great option for the short-term, you might face scalability issues, in the long run, depending on how your website grows. If you find you’re maxing out your storage capabilities, or if user demand is exceeding server space, you may need to consider scaling up to eke out better performance.
VPS Hosting:
1.Server Resources:
With VPS hosting, you’ll enjoy greater private disk space and higher overall resource availability. This will be necessary if you want to expand your business and need to offer customers a user experience that goes beyond the basic shared hosting level.
2.Performance:
It’s no surprise that VPS hosting offers better overall performance based on the bandwidth it offers users. You’ll have more flexibility to configure your applications on the server, but you’ll need to make sure you have a dedicated system administrator to keep the server running smoothly. If you have high traffic demands or multiple sites to manage, VPS will be the better option.
3.Security:
You can ensure your site’s security with more robust safety features that are only available through VPS hosting. If your budget allows, you can implement better customer support services that will assist patrons when they need it. If your business needs to protect personal data, it’s worth considering the upgrade to a VPS.
4.Pricing:
As with any paid service, a more expensive plan offers more premium features, and the same rings true for VPS hosting. If you want to improve your website’s performance, or if you need to increase your business’s online services, VPS hosting will give you better customization and performance options than shared hosting.
5.Server Administration:
VPS-hosted websites are often more complex in terms of resource management and therefore will usually require a specific system administrator to focus on maintaining the server. The tradeoff is that you’ll be able to customize your site and configure whatever applications and software you want while increasing performance and security.
6.Scalability:
The customizable features of VPS hosting allow you to scale more quickly and easily. If you predict you’ll eventually need to scale up on the fly to meet demand, the investment in VPS hosting now may pay off in the future. For more

What is Business Web Hosting and it's benefits?
Business Hosting has the resources and support to make sure that hitting Reddit's front page is a time to celebrate, not panic. If you're hosting videos, photos or downloads, you'll feel right at home with Business Hosting.
Benefits of Business Web Hosting:
1.Reliable hosting: Nowadays there are many web hosting providers. Therefore it is challenging for you to choose the best amongst them. Of course, you can go with some underperformed affordable services from a renowned web hosting service provider but it is just like trying to swim in an empty pool. By which we mean that you think that no one will visit and look after your website.
This signifies that these services are not highly reliable and can easily be hacked as they do not provide any robust security measures. You can definitely save some bucks on this hosting but it is not worth to invest in these kinds of hosting as it might affect the performance of your website.
Therefore going with professional web hosting is a much better option for your business needs.
2.Customer support:  Many startup businesses do not emphasize much on the importance of technical customer support but it is an essential aspect of your website that you should not ignore. Even small technical glitches can shut down your website for a longer period due to lack of proper customer support to fix up the problem.
You might lose a huge number of web traffic that might result in revenue loss. On the other side with professional web hosting, you get round the clock technical support by the professionals who will resolve your issues quickly and make sure you get maximum uptime.
3.Better control of the content: Whenever you go with professional web hosting, you get complete control over content management. You can post articles as per your choice and decide how they will appear. There are also no limitations regarding the number of ads to post.
These are some quality advantages which you will not get with any normal web hosting service. You shall bear more charges from it and they might even expect something in return for hosting the website.
4.Domain and email address:
To build brand loyalty, every web hosting service provider provides at least one domain name to the clients. If you take services from free web hosting providers, your reputation may get at stake because these free web hosting services might use a subdomain that promotes their services instead of yours.
There is also a limit on the number of emails accounts to choose. In professional web hosting, you will not face issues of such kinds and you can pick your email accounts as well as domain.
5.Website design:  Same as domains, when you opt-out the services of free website services, you have the restrictions for the selection of designs and templates. This also makes your website look unprofessional.
On the other side, a professionally hosted web service allows you to get unrestricted access for designing the website and its related technologies. This lets you have the designing and infrastructure creativity. This helps you experiment with the different design layouts before finalizing the one best suited for your website.
6.Unlimited space and speed: When you go with free web hosting services, usually, you get a fixed amount of bandwidth and space with lots of limitations. It creates a number of issues which may hamper your brand loyalty among the customers.
With professional web hosting, you get the option to choose any amount of data space as per your requirements and also upgrade or downgrade the same according to the level of scalability of your business. It helps in getting moderate growth in website traffic that positively affects your business.
7.Search Engine Optimized pages: Free hosting services do not provide you with many opportunities related to SEO that makes it difficult for business hosting to rank their websites on the top of web results on search engines. When you acquire professional web hosting services, you get almost complete control over the SEO practices.
You can create content as per your choice and optimize SEO processes for a longer duration.
8.Enhanced security: By using professional web hosting services, you can enjoy stronger security privileges with the help of more advanced tools and the availability of professional system engineers who are responsible for the security concerns.
Some of the important security measures used by professional web services include virus scanning, security audits, spam filtering, and OS updates. Moreover, these can fix all the security-related loopholes and prevent your server from external attacks.

What is Dedicated Server Hosting and its advantages? A dedicated server is a type of remote server that is dedicated to an individual, organization or application. Dedicated hosting is considered single-tenant, meaning one owner or administrator controls the entire server and its resources.
Advantages of dedicated server hosting provider are:
1. Server resources are not shared When you choose a dedicated hosting provider, you get the full resources of a single server. You don’t need to worry about other websites clogging up the server’s CPU and RAM. With a dedicated server, you can be sure that bad scripts running on another website or spikes in bandwidth usage won’t slow your server down.
2. Enhanced performance and security Choosing a dedicated hosting provider guarantees maximum uptime for your website. Shared hosting is often best for websites with low to medium traffic. If your website receives a lot of traffic, though, dedicated servers provide more stability and reliability than shared hosting.
With a dedicated server, you can also be sure that you aren’t sharing space with a malicious website or a potential spammer. Dedicated hosting allows enhanced security, particularly important for companies handling sensitive transactions over FTP or SSL.
3. Flexibility A dedicated server allows a client the flexibility of customizing the server to the clients' unique needs for CPU, RAM, disk space and software. With shared hosting, a customer is limited to the applications, software and operating environment already loaded on the server. They may either offer the software a client doesn’t need or lack things that they do.
4. Unique IP address Each server has its own unique IP address. With shared hosting, that means that you are also sharing an IP address with multiple other websites. If one of your neighbors is a spam site or an adult site, this could mean having your websites’ rank pushed down.
5. No overhead for purchasing or maintaining equipment If a company needs a dedicated server but doesn’t have the time or resources to manage a server themselves, dedicated hosting is a low-cost way to access the resources of a full server. A dedicated hosting provider handles the cost of building and maintaining server equipment, reducing the overhead for a business purchasing server space, and improving their return on investment.
