maybe you’re like a transfer student in senior year? and you just give off huge nerd/geek vibes from first glance, from your entire look/outfit 😭

from the moment you’re introduced to your class - nat just can’t seem to take her eyes off of you - and even she doesn’t necessarily know why, because it’s not like you’re the type she usually goes for or hangs out with but like mid-lecture or something, she finds her eyes just going to you.

she’s not trying to be a creep or anything - she just picks up little things - like how you bite your lip when you’re intensely focused on something, or how your eyes light up when you raise your hand to answer a question, or how it seems like you so effortlessly doodle something (usually a cartoon character) in your notebook - and she definitely notices how you blush if the two of you ever make eye contact.

you find nat a little intimidating at first - just like her general attitude and Presence that she has (and yeah okay, she’s incredibly attractive but it’s not like you’ll admit it-) ; you make small talk here and there with her but nothing too serious - not until you’re assigned on a project with her for class - and then you kind of have to talk to her but it’s fine, you’re doing something for school so there’s something you can focus/fixate on.

nat coming over to your place to work on the project… seeing your room that’s just covered in with like comic posters - the corner of the room with a shelf with all your comic books - the tv in your room with 3 different game consoles… this does serve as the perfect opportunity for nat to ask you about your interests - and then you find yourself rambling, explaining your favorite video game to her or your favorite comic run - blushing like crazy when you realize you’ve been talking for like the last 15 minutes with no interruption from nat…

nat’s kind of fascinated though - she doesn’t really get what you’re talking about but she loves seeing you be so passionate about it so she definitely encourages it lol 😭

this is kind of how the friendship starts.. you start having her try playing your favorite games, reading your favorite comics - and in turn, she invites you to come watch the soccer team play (and you are most definitely attracted to nat playing sports 😳)… you actually become friends with her teammates and nat invites you to your first party (and you Eventually try like getting high and drinking for the first time 😭 nat thinks you’re adorable when you’re a little drunk and high lmao…. oh man, when you get drunk at a party and ask nat if you can kiss her -she says yes - and you’re going to have a lot to discuss with her the next morning 🤭)
