This isn’t Real Certified Info but I think it’s because cats both groom themselves and shed quite a lot so they end up swallowing a lot of their own hair? But then again I have never seen my short-haired cat throw up hairballs, but my friends have told me their long-haired cats have done so.

Ah I see :o, yeah it does seem to be mostly an issue of fluffier cats but shedding in general may contribute. Wikipedia says licking themselves as grooming is a big reason but I think that may be like half the answer because again this hairball thing isn’t really a big problem for most fuzzy critters despite grooming in a similar way to cats.

Also are there different digimon in the Vita version because I never found most of those digimon when I played the game ;w; *jealous*

waa thanks gomis! ;w; apparently the japanese release of hacker’s memory includes cyber sleuth on the same cart and lets you use the new hacker’s memory mons! so i got that version since i hadn’t played cyber sleuth yet :’D

Happy Birthday, Gomis @gomecatnip! It’s still the 29th for me but you’ll see this in your morning :) I love the design for Hedgemon so I decided to draw him admiring the tenacity of a dandelion sprout growing amidst concrete.

Just last year we got to meet in person for the first time. That was so much fun! Thank you for being such a wonderful friend Gomis!

Felt like doing some quick traditional inking so I ended up drawing Vivian from @gomecatnip‘s Ghost Syndrome. She’s the coolest vampire!

Her shirt is actually a bad Finnish pun. Literally it says “Bat and proud” but “lepakko” is also kinda reclaimed slang for lesbian. (Please don’t call people you don’t know lepakko. But I know Gomis is 100% fine with this which is why I used it.)

It’s over +12 Celsius here for the first time this year as well and it’s too hot, hnngh

Whoops D: that was indeed a typo! Thanks for pointing it out to me, I have now went back to the text post and fixed it. I may have to add dualsex to my browser’s dictionary because given I use the word duel a lot more than dual in my day to day I’ll probably make the same typo again x-x.

OC questions!! 21, 22, 30, 32, 33, 48!

21. Your most artistic OC

UHHHH. Well, Areth is supposed to be artistic (he enjoys singing but he’s not much of a composer) since he’s a paladin of Shelyn, but he hasn’t had time to appreciate art for several months now since he’s pretty busy with that saving Korvosa thing. Kou enjoys designing and making clothes, but she has weird taste and likes to mix colors and patterns way too much. Josei enjoys art, especially theater and opera, but she doesn’t create it herself, partially because she struggles with fine motor coordination. Kolvir is into sculpture and religious iconography. Arashi likes poetry and dabbles in it from time to time. Ronya is a skald but she’s only into march songs and revolutionary anthems. So maybe in the end Areth really is the most artistic of my Pathfinder OCs even though he hasn’t had the time for it in a long while.

Outside of Pathfinder, Shara does pixel art.

22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?

People really like to misgender my male and nonbinary characters as female. :I Outside of that, Areth gets called judgmental more often than I’d expect - he’s usually very soft-spoken and quiet, but he has a hair-trigger temper when it comes to evil creatures being predictably evil and trying to lie to and cheat him and his friends and he’s not afraid to be brutally straightforward with such creatures. The fact he doesn’t talk nearly as much as most of my characters makes him seem judgmental because when he does speak up or with emotion it’s usually because he’s trying to keep his friends safe, I guess?

30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?

Tephra. Kou’s is public.

32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why?

Jhaelen-Khaa! He’s totally not inspired by Francis York Morgan or anything. Also spoopy ghost powers with limited use per day.

33. Your shyest OC?

Areth is plenty shy, hence why he’s so soft-spoken and why it’s such a struggle for him to accept his role as one of the Heroes of Korvosa (and also why he’s so eager to save his friends from injury and death). Vienne is also pretty shy and tends to babble nervously if you make her socialize.

48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure

Kou, Satori, and Noromi are all pretty cinnamony.

Yeah, me too. I’ve been to Tracon’s artist alley every year since printing the first Wurr back in 2010. Well, more time to wander around and meet people, though.

Ultimately, art should be something that feels FUN for you. If it doesn’t right now, you should try to make it fun! It absolutely is something you do for yourself first and foremost, so you shouldn’t fee pressured to make it meet certain standards, unless they are standards you have set. This is a long-winded way to say - do what feels right and fun, I hope your frustrations will fade soon and you’ll feel fun with drawing again! 8<

Yeah I hope to get to a point where art feels fun again ;3; thank you for the vote of confidence! Hopefully I’ll get there soon.

When I feel bad I try to draw art for some friends, since making other people happy helps my mood.

The first is for Gage of @catcomixzstudios​ of his character Leon the cat.

The second is for Gomis @gomecatnip; her newer character Aveline the Sphinx. I love sphinx characters so I decided to draw her as a little surprise for Gomis.

I guess they’re both kinda cat-like?

as a furry, pent is obliged to wear something animal-themed at all times (maybe sometimes but i feel like itd be pretty uncomfortable to wear to bed haha)
