Summary

It’s been about a week since Shadybug and Claw Noir’s goody-two shoes alternate universe counterparts convinced them to betray the Supreme and join the Resistance. And while they are determined to be better… It hasn’t been easy. While both Shadybug and Claw Noir have a lifetime of problems to untangle if they want to be good people, they realize a new look doesn’t magically make you a nice person. As if that weren’t hard enough to deal with, the two ex-Villains struggle with defining what their new relationship might be.

INTO THE SHADYVERSE

Here are some fun plot points expanded in the year since the special. These are influenced by @toxinette and @griffenoir as well as headcanons slammed together by the discord here and there. This is the one year later update!

Until the special the only members of the Resistance were Gabe and Nat [adults] and the squad seen in the special. Afterward both Shady and Claw are added to the Resistance team.

Shady's been working undercover with the Supreme, while her family is carefully evacuated into the Headquarters.

HQ is a series of camps set throughout the catacombs under the city. While some tunnels seem to be navigated, there are pockets of magnetic energy that disorient most compasses, digital or directional.

Shady learns Hesperia's identity as he learns hers, but they both keep it a secret from Adrien. Gabe because be believes it's up to Marinette to tell her son her secret. He has no idea his son is Claw. Marinette due to a desire to save him the heartache. Especially since learning that Gabriel Agreste died in the prime timeline.

Hesperia finds himself hunted down by an enforcer of the Supreme-- his "Black Swan". Holder of a Miraculous, he seems to be more than a match for the Resistance-- as he can influence the minds and moods of those who hear his music.
