So for your Carmen Stan au how did Ford find out about Stan being brainwashed?
Okay so this ends up being different than in CS BECAUSE we have the added character of Alex, who’s their nephew so when the whole brainwashing and kidnapping thing happens Team Red would obviously be the first to know.
Ford and Fiddleford would realise something was amiss and are actually concerned for a while since Stan suddenly disappeared off grid and stopped appearing for his capers and all. At this stage I think they’ve both come to an agreement that Stan’s intentions were good (much like how Jules and Chase had believed in Carmen near the end) so the sudden inactivity from Stan was already alarming. Ford tries to rationalise to himself that Stan’s probably busy even though his gut screams at him that something is wrong.
It kinda sucks for him since he doesn’t have a proper way to contact Stan and they only ever see each other if Stan reaches out first or if they run into each other during one of his capers. Stan also hasn’t been checking in on Tate or Fiddleford like he liked to do sometimes so that was another thing. Hence the long silence brings Ford some anxiety. It wasn’t the first time he lost sight of Stan (happens all the time due to the secrecy but Ford at least has tabs based on report sightings of Stan from around the world) but it’s been like…ages and now that they were kinda on even/good terms Ford feels like something is wrong but he doesn’t know what.
When Stan finally resurfaces, Ford and Fiddleford are relieved only to be bewildered when Stan steals and doesn’t return the items to Fiddleford or like authorities. They find the behaviour suspicious but they could never get close enough to confront him, which was another red flag since Stan always interacts with them even on his missions (like a simple greeting or banter or teasing). So Stan avoiding them AND taking things but not returning them like his usual routine is very very weird.
Ford stresses over this change for a long time. He has no idea why his brother suddenly seems to change ways and change sides apparently. Stan not acknowledging him and actively avoiding him (cause Stan just thinks of Ford and Fidds as authorities after him now) hurts Ford because he has no idea why he’s being ignored either when they were on good terms already.
Ford eventually finds out from Alex. The poor boy had been stressed out of his mind in a dilemma on whether he should tell the rest of the family or just keep it to Team Red. Like I mentioned in a previous post here, he faces constant dilemmas regarding keeping Stan’s business away from the rest of the family, or to involve them as help. Eventually the whole brainwashing situation gets hopelessly bad and stressful and after discussion with Carla and the rest of Team Red, Alex believed his dad and uncle Ford deserves to know what’s actually going on.
Alex calls for a family meeting and Ford visits Shermie’s place and both brothers are shocked at what Alex reveals to them. This is also how Shermie finds out that Alex is Stan’s hacker and Ford is stunned that the entire time he comes over to rant about Stan, Alex had been part of it from the start. There’s a brief moment of Ford calling Alex out for being the reason Stan was able to escape his capture a couple times and it’s a bit hilarious. Shermie and Ford are obviously super caught off guard by the revelation that Alex was helping Stan the entire time and had somehow kept quiet over it for ages but then the seriousness of the situation finally settles in and both brothers are horrified.
Ford is absolutely grief stricken that his brother’s mind was brainwashed before he goes completely furious because how dare some evil organisation (that they’re just learning about now because Alex and Team Red decided it was time to tell the family everything) try to use his brother and mess with his mind. He immediately demands more information from Team Red so he can find a way to help.
When he gets back and meets with Fiddleford again he explains everything as Fiddleford is devastated. They both actually meet up with Team Red in this au cause Alex kinda has to let them (Shermie demanded him to do so) and also Ford wouldn’t take no for an answer, saying that Stan is his twin and he has rights to help in fixing the problem and saving his brother. Ford finding out about the situation definitely puts him on edge because his brother is hurt and not in his right mind and Ford wants to help but he has no idea where to start and he feels something akin to grief and fury creep up his throat.
They eventually learn how Stan got brainwashed (the use of the memory gun) and Ford actually gets mad at Fiddleford for a short while (mainly due to high tensions and emotions running on high from everything) and blames him for the creation of such a device before immediately regretting his words and apologising dw. Ford secretly fears that Stan’s mind can’t be restored back to normal but he buries it deep down and hyperfixates on helping Team Red find a solution to the problem, even bringing it up with ACME to get their resources and help.
He eventually helps in building the device to bring back Stan to his right state of mind but there’s definitely a lot of complicated emotions in the process. Mainly Ford having to grapple with losing his brother and desperately trying to fix him and bring him back cause ngl they’ve finally reached an understanding and he’d die before he let some stupid evil organisation rob him of a proper chance to actually sit down and talk with his brother (since they haven’t rlly actually had a long deep convo and mainly just run into each other for their missions).

I can't get out of my mind Angie's introduction scene.
Ford's the mastermind, obviously, and they try to run a job without a hitter/retrieval specialist. But they can't get it done. So after the fact, Ford turns to Fiddleford (the hacker, obvi) and says they need a hitter.
Fidds: Why are you tellin' me- oh. Oh, no. You can't mean- Ford: Yes. Fidds: Stanford, don't make me. Ford: You know it's the only way to get the job done.
Fidds reluctantly agrees to arrange for their hitter. So, Angie shows up the next day. And Stan immediately is like "This has to be some sort of joke."
Been watching a lot of Leverage lately and naturally my mind goes to my nonsense and OCs and AUs
The question, of course, is who gets what role
#Fidds didn't want to get Angie involved bc he doesn't like ''encouraging'' her to do these things#but yeah Stan takes one look at Angie (who dressed nice in a sundress and ballet flats) and says that he'd be a better hitter for the job#Fidds puts his head in his hands and groans loudly and asks Angie to not break any bones this time#next thing Stan knows he's on the floor with Angie's foot on the back of his neck#sure Angie's a master marksman and that's her biggest strength#but over the years she learned she couldn't rely on it to save her skin#so she picked up some other skills to keep herself safe#(btw Angie doesn't go through quite as much shit as Eliot does in the show#but she does go through a lot more than is typical for her)#New AUs#rebagel

Multiverse is a Curse Word (4)
Dodoodoodoodo seeing how much of this I can post before Christmas …
@the-subpar-ghost your Adrift AU is amazing and I’ve wanted to make content for it for ages.
@hntrgurl13 I am in love with Addi, as you know, but thanks again for creating her, the Dimension Jumper AU, and the Drifting Dimensions AU. I can’t stay away from them!
@scipunk63 I swear I’m not just tantalising you with the promise of your Addiford ship appearing.
My buddies. My dudes. @thejesterlyfictionista and @deadpool-demon-diva. Tell me what you think.

Chapter 4: Broken Heart or Broken Bones - Your Choice
“Doctor Pines, a word if you please,” Wesley called.
Ford rose from the couch they were cooking breakfast on and went over to the resistance leader.
“I thought it would be a good idea to let you know that we are planning to undertake a strike mission against Wikert Expansion Enterprises tonight, in case you wonder about all the extra weapons around,”
“Actually, there’s a good chance I wouldn’t have noticed. Mabel and I were planning to leave today,” informed Ford.
Wesley appeared surprised. “Really? When you have not even paid back your debt?”
Ford went cold. “Debt?”
“Why, we saved you, and your child, from certain death. We cured you, vaccinated you, even performed a blood transfusion, and you do not think you owe us anything?” Wesley asked innocently.
Ford stood silently for a moment, thinking through his options. This was undoubtedly a ploy to rope him further into the organisation. He had no problem harshly replying that no, he did not think he owed them anything, because when a child is in trouble you damn well help them, however he did not think Wesley would take a simple rejection for an answer. Fighting his way out would be tantamount to suicide in the middle of all these people, so that left one remaining option.
“Fine. What do you want me to do?”
“Come with us.” Said Wesley immediately. “I’m going to need the best two hackers I have, and you are number one.”
The lab yesterday was a test, Ford realised. “Where are we going?”
“A research facility. Military owned, military operated. Fortunately, most of their personnel has been called away to address an issue I organised, leaving it up for the taking. We need your help to break into the data centre and steal one specific file: WEE.rc736,”
Ford took a deep breath, and paraphrased. “You want me to participate in an incursion to a military institution owned by an evil, interdimensional capitalist corporation, trusting people I don’t know or like to watch my back, all the while most likely initiating a warzone over a digital file called urine.”
“Not sure if you can handle it?” asked Wesley pleasantly.
Ford seethed. “You expect me to bring a twelve-year-old into all this?”
“Oh no, by all means, she is welcome to stay here until our return,”
“If we return,” said Ford through clenched teeth.
“Are you going to repay your debt or not?” Wesley’s tone had not changed from that of an agreeable conversation the entire time.
I’ll just ask Addi to look after her, Ford reasoned.
⃝
An alarm rang through the complex and continued sounding as everyone began to move towards the hangar.
Ford had been trapped in a conference room with Wesley all day, going over and memorising a plan weeks in the making which the other eighty participants were already up to date on. He had not had a chance to speak to Adeline and Mabel.
The hangar was on the ground floor towards the back of the base, one wall completely missing to act as the exit. There were four shuttles inside, all of which would be used in the assault. As Ford made his way there he did not see either Adeline or Mabel, and he could feel the stress mounting. It was bad enough that he had to do this, and he should at least get a chance to say goodbye to his niece. He was striding over to Wesley’s ship with the intention of demanding he transmit a message to Adeline, when he heard her call out behind him.
“There you are. Here’s your niece, see you when we get back.” She clapped him on the shoulder as she passed.
“You’re coming?”
“Well yeah, I’ve got a database to help hack.” She frowned. “You’re not coming, are you?”
I’m going to need the two best hackers I have …
“You’re the second hacker,” he realised.
“Second?” Adeline’s expression was changing as she started to grasp what was going on.
Well who did you expect? Thought Ford furiously. Of course it’s her, you just refused to think about it, blocking it out because it interfered with your plans, because you needed her here, looking after –
“What’s going on?” asked Mabel with a nervous smile. “Are we going on the mission too, Grunkle Ford?”
The very thought filled him with fear, and sent him small flashbacks to other resistance efforts, other missions, other battlefields, other soldiers who were little more than teenagers, dead on the orders of some faceless leader, explosions that rocked entire worlds, weapons firing every colour of the rainbow, dark dungeons and prison cells that were the price of failure, and everyone ceaselessly believing in a non-existent hope that things would get better when how could they? The equilibrium of the multiverse was too stable to change in his favour. It was a buffer system of bad things.
Ford’s heart started to beat faster as he frantically thought of solutions.
“No.” He said distantly. “Just me. Adeline and I are both needed to steal a file for this resistance cell.” He watched Mabel’s smile fade as her eyes flicked between the two adults.
“Wesley needs the best people available for this. He’s collecting on the debt we owe him for saving us,” he had no idea why he was continuing to explain. It was obvious she had already put two and two together and come up with a less than satisfactory answer.
“You need to stay here,” The acknowledgement of this reality shattered the unnatural calm which had befallen both of them.
“What? No, Grunkle Ford, I have to come with you.” She shook her head and used both hands to grab onto his sleeves, correcting him as though it was a simple mathematical error he had made.
“It’s too dangerous. I’m sorry Mabel, not this time,”
“No. No, you can’t leave me here.” She insisted, tightening her grip.
“I can’t take you with me, Mabel. I’m not joking around, you need to stay here,”
Why isn’t she listening? Thought Ford as he numbly tried to twist out of her hold. Can’t she see this is serious? She could get hurt, she could die.
The hangar seemed to be getting colder by the second.
She cannot come. I draw the line here.
Regardless, Mabel was refusing to let go of him, and he could not bring himself to use more force than he already was. A quick glance behind him showed that Adeline’s face was going pale and Wesley was calmly continuing to direct weaponry and supplies onto the aircraft.
Ford was suddenly angry. Angry at Wesley for forcing him into this position. Angry at Adeline for involving him in yet another resistance. He was angry at Mabel for not listening to him, angry at Stan for pushing him into the bloody portal and then getting his niece thrown in too. He was angry at Bill fucking Cipher for ever approaching him with designs for the portal, at Fiddleford for not trying harder to convince him of Bill’s treachery, at himself for not listening to Fiddleford. At himself because he had no idea how to take care of children, or how to keep them safe, and angry at Stan again because he did. He was angry that his anger changed nothing.
“Mabel, it’ll be okay, you’ll be okay here, I’ll come back-” But how do you know that –
“No!” Mabel’s shout was violent enough to cause him to stop dead. “No, it’s not okay, it’s not safe here! You were awake last night too, I know you were, you heard what was going on!” Tears were filling Mabel’s eyes now, whether from anger or fear he did not know. Most likely both …
His mouth going dry and his pulse was thundering in his ears. Yes, he had been awake last night, he had heard Adeline’s sword sing and the muttered threats she had given their visitors. Another thing he had refused to think about in his efforts to convince himself that Mabel would be safe when he left her, because the truth was he did not know what he would come back to if she stayed. It was no use trying to say that most of the resisters were coming on the mission, that she could hide, that whatever happened would surely be better than being captured, tortured and killed – but that could happen here too. The very thought of the results of either decision made him sick.
He turned to Wesley. “Please, is there any other way to pay you back? Anything?”
“I am sorry Doctor Pines, this is the only thing you can do for me. I need your skills now, on this specific job,” he said unsympathetically.
“Wesley, come on!” Adeline said, shocked. “She’s a kid! You can’t let her stay here alone.”
“I never said she had to stay. That decision was all courtesy of Doctor Pines,” Wesley said flatly.
“Wes, I can’t believe this! Let’s just go back to the original plan, Kot and I can handle it. Hell, I’ll do it by myself if you want a medic!”
“Alternatively, what if Wikert has safeguards that we do not know about? What if you hit a block similar to the one on the lab? No, Doctor Pines is coming with us, no matter what. Make a decision Stanford: choose to break her heart or break her bones, but do it quickly,”
The last of the ammunition was loaded onto the vehicle. Wesley started ordering the personnel into shuttles. The hangar began to hum as engines ignited.
Break her heart or break her bones. Which choice leads to which exactly? He stared into the girl’s own glassy eyes like he would find the answer there.
“Mabel, sweetheart, please …” Please don’t make me choose, please understand, please do something to make this easier …
“No.” Her voice shook but she held his gaze steadily, and continued to clutch at his sleeves like a lifeline. They might have been.
“We do not have unlimited time, Stanford Pines,”
“I know, I can hear the fucking sirens!” Ford snapped. Of course this would happen, of course, why wouldn’t it, of course ofcourseofcourse-
Hardening his heart, he turned back to his niece hating himself. She was going to stay here, she was going to be fine, he was going to get the damn file, he would come back, and he would figure out how to make this up to her. She would deal with it, and so would he. The tightness in his chest meant nothing.
He braced himself to pull away and said, “Trust me.”
“NO!” It was the seventh time she had said it, and the most shocking. The word ripped convulsively out of her, and the tears started to break from their dam.
“I mean – I mean, yeah, I do …” She struggled to find the right words. “But, the last time I said that,” she was looking at him, desperate to have him understand whatever was going through her mind, trying to convey a message that was almost too painful to speak aloud.
“I let go of the only thing holding me to the ground and I fell into the portal. And I’m sorry, but I really, really wish I hadn’t, I’m so sorry.”
That was the sentence that broke both of them. Ford sank to his knees and hugged her tightly as Mabel collapsed onto his shoulder, sobbing. There was no way he could leave her after that.
⃝
After a few seconds Mabel was able to regain control of herself. She peeled herself off her uncle and Addi came over to take her hand. She looked scared.
“Come on kiddo, let’s get you into the ship,” She sounded as confident as ever.
“I’ll be right there,” Mabel heard Ford say quietly. Emotionally drained, she was too sapped to feel embarrassed, or scared, or anything other than relieved. She wasn’t going to be left behind. She wasn’t going to lose her family again.
Mabel nodded, and Addi briefly squeezed her uncle’s hand before strapping her into a seat and sitting next to her.
From out in the hangar came a loud “Shit!”, which caused Mabel to wince, followed by the sound of a boot slamming into the aircraft’s side. Footsteps thudded over to where Wesley waited.
“If anything happens to her …”
“Nothing will,”
“For your sake you should hope so,”
Addi’s knuckles had gone white.
Then Ford climbed into the craft and sat on Mabel’s other side, pinching the bridge of his nose. A moment later the doors slid shut, the alarms ceased, and the shuttles lifted up into the air.
No going back now, Mabel thought.

Some artwork from my current WIP Behind The Screen
After that last chapter I posted, Stan needed to be happy again. Oh to be eating chocolate chip pancakes on your birthday :)
Fidds is from Ch 23 (chapter not yet uploaded as of this post).
Ford and Bill aren't from any specific scene. I just wanted to add them. (I'm (probably) never drawing Bill like this again. My hand hurts.)
Pose references are off tiktok from mellon_soup (Stan/Fidds) and itsstarlightart (Ford)

Superhero/villain AU - The Villainous Side of the Family
Day 01 Day 02 Day 03 Day 04 Day 05 Day 06 Day 07 Day 08 Day 09 Day 10 Day 11 Day 12 Day 13 Day 14 Day 15 Day 16 Day 17 Day 18 Day 19 Day 20 Day 21 Day 22 Day 23 Day 24 Day 25 Day 26 Day 27 Day 28 Day 29 Day 30
Finishing up NaNoWriMo fifteen days late, and with yet another Superhero/villain AU write! I didn’t proofread this, jsyk, but I’m ready to be done with NaNoWriMo and focus on studying, so here. Enjoy Stan having encounters with the villains his children will be related to, including a certain Fiddleford McGucket. Oh, and as a heads-up, the last scene takes place when Danny and Daisy are about three, during their first trip to the McGucket farm.
Word count: 2668
Ford watched idly as Stan rocketed around the living room, picking up stray wrappers and socks.
“Stanley?”
“Yeah?” Stan asked, tossing a blanket onto the couch.
“Are you feeling all right?”
“Yeah, why?”
“I mean…you’re cleaning,” Ford said. Stan looked at him. “I’m fairly certain that’s either a sign you are gravely ill or that the apocalypse is upon us.”
“Ha ha,” Stan said dryly. “Very funny, Sixer.” He picked up an old newspaper. “Angie and Lute are coming over today, and you saw how clean their place was. I don’t wanna scare them off just because we hate picking up old socks. I mean, this chick is pregnant with my kids.”
“Fair enough.”
“Help me out, will you? Half this stuff is yours.”
“I’m doing my own part to impress the McGuckets,” Ford said. He gestured at the notes he was skimming. “I printed off the files that I used to track them down in the first place, and I’m studying them.”
“Dammit, Ford,” Stan snapped. “I’m not playing around. You scare them off, and I end up a shitty dad like Pops was. Worse. I end up an absent father.”
“Stanley, that won’t happen.”
“Yeah, you’re right. It won’t. You’re gonna get rid of those files, and you’re gonna help me clean up.” Stan threw the newspaper he was holding at Ford. “Get off your ass and pick up your damn socks.”
Half an hour later, Stan was nervously pacing by the front door. The doorbell rang. Stan jumped. He took a deep breath.
You got this. He opened the door and plastered a smile on his face.
“Uh, hey.”
“Stanley,” Lute said shortly. Angie was standing a few steps behind Lute, looking at the outside of Stan and Ford’s house with interest.
“I think ya need to clean out yer gutters,” she said idly.
“Oh, uh, yeah, probably,” Stan said, rubbing the back of his neck. “We haven’t done that since we moved here, so…”
“Geez,” Lute muttered. He huffed. “Are ya goin’ to invite us in or what?”
“Yeah, yeah, come- come in.” Stan stood to the side. Angie and Lute filed in past him. Stan closed the door. “Uh, the living room is- is right ahead. But if you wanna take a detour first, I can show you the room that I’ve started cleaning out to use as a nursery.”
“Why?” Angie asked.
“I figured you’d wanna check it out, since the kids-”
“No, Stan,” Angie interrupted, “why would ya make a nursery?” Stan blinked.
“The babies have to sleep somewhere.”
“Yer right. And they will. At our house,” Lute said firmly. Stan rubbed his face.
“Let’s talk about it in the living room, okay?”
“Fine by me,” Lute muttered. He and Angie followed Stan to the living room, where Ford was sitting on the couch. Lute looked around the living room before sitting on an armchair. “Cleaner than I thought it would be.” Stan shrugged. Angie took a seat next to Ford. She peered at the magazine he was reading.
“That’s a good issue of Scientific American,” she remarked.
“You’ve read it?”
“Mm-hmm. I mean, I wrote an article fer it, so…”
“Really?” Ford stared at Angie. Angie nodded. “That’s quite an achievement.”
“Well, Angie’s achieved a lot,” Lute said proudly. “She’s a real catch.” Angie rolled her eyes.
“Yeah, uh, let’s go back to the nursery thing,” Stan said, still standing in the middle of the living room. He took a breath. “The babies won’t come here?”
“They can come fer visits,” Angie said. “But they’ll live with me.”
“I’m their dad. Can’t they stay here every other weekend or something?”
“No,” Angie said. Stan looked down at his feet. “Look, we barely know each other. Maybe- maybe as time goes on, we can revisit this conversation. But as it stands right now, I’m takin’ full custody.”
“I’m not thrilled about my kids living with villains 24/7,” Stan said. Lute leaned forward.
“I’m not thrilled about my sister’s kids havin’ a hero fer a father. A hero, who, by the way, is the son of the hero known as Libra.”
“Stan!” Ford hissed. “You told them?”
“No,” Stan said. “I just- I told them that our mom used to be a hero, and that she worked in the same area that Sirocco did. And then the doctor asked about my family history, and I said our mom has the basic ESP package. They figured it out from there.”
“How did Sirocco come up?” Ford asked.
“Sirocco is their mom.”
“Hey!” Lute shouted. Water shot out of the glass sitting next to Ford and zoomed around the room.
“Lute, turn it off,” Angie said tiredly. Lute scowled. The water returned to the glass. Ford glanced over at his water.
“Is it still safe to drink?”
“It’s fine,” Lute said, waving a hand airily. He glared at Stan. “What’s not fine is that ya told someone about our ma bein’ Sirocco!”
“I thought there was some sort of relation between you and Sirocco, given that Angie took on that moniker,” Ford said. He leaned back thoughtfully. “I should have figured out that she was your mother. You do share the same abilities.”
“Yes, I inherited my powers from my ma.” Angie played with her hands in her lap. “But we’re not here to talk about my ma. We’re here to talk about yours.” She swallowed. “Look, we’ve been a bit iffy about all of this from the beginning. But findin’ out that my babies’ grandmother is my ma’s archnemesis? That’s- I didn’t think I could get more nervous, but turns out I was wrong.”
“You don’t have to worry about my mom, okay?” Stan said. “I won’t tell her about you, and it’s not like we’re close anyways.”
“Stan-” Angie started.
“Like I told you when I first tracked you down, I’m not gonna let my kids grow up without a dad. If that means I tell my mom I need some space, then that’s what I’ll do.”
“Hold on,” Lute said. His brow furrowed. “You’d be willing to avoid yer mother, just so’s ya wouldn’t make yer archnemesis nervous?”
“Since my archnemesis is pregnant with my kids, yeah, I am,” Stan said. Lute’s eyes widened. He exchanged a look with Angie. Stan turned pink, suddenly flustered. “It’s- it’s not like it’s that big a deal. I mean, you guys might be close with your folks, but I’m not.”
“Maybe that sacrifice isn’t big to you, but it’s still a sacrifice,” Angie said softly. She bit her lip. “And it’s fer me.” She ducked her head.
“I don’t- did-” Stan sighed. “I fucked up, didn’t I?”
“No,” Lute said. He was watching Stan with a steady, neutral expression. “No, ya didn’t.” He stood up. “Why don’t ya show us the room yer thinkin’ would be a good nursery?”
“Uh, yeah. Sure.”
“And after, maybe we can exchange phone numbers.”
“I gave you guys my number,” Stan said. Lute grinned.
“But yer brother didn’t give us his.” He glanced over at Ford. “I ain’t exactly the kind of person who leaves without gettin’ the phone numbers of good-lookin’ men.” Ford’s mouth dropped open.
“I beg your pardon?” Ford asked weakly. Angie stood up with a groan.
“Ignore him. Stan, show us this nursery yer workin’ on.” She smiled hesitantly. “I’d like to see.”
“I don’t have much ready,” Stan said. “It’s pretty much just a room.” Angie shrugged.
“Let’s just see what ya have so far. We can build upon the foundation later.” Stan cocked his head.
“Are you still talking about the nursery?” he asked slowly. Angie’s grin became firmer.
“Sure. Let’s say that.”
-----
Stan landed in the driveway, dropped Ford, and shut off his flames. He looked at Ford.
“This the place?” he asked. Ford nodded. “You sure?”
“Yes, I am.”
“All right.” Stan marched up to the door. He knocked. After a few moments, the door opened. Stan stared.
Damn. He looks just like Angie. The man who had opened the door was slender and blonde, with blue eyes hidden behind reading glasses. He frowned at Stan.
“May I help-” The man’s gaze slide sideways, to Ford, hovering behind Stan. “Stanford?”
“Fiddleford?” Ford said, stepping forward.
“What’s the reason fer yer visit?” the man – Fiddleford – asked.
“Um, we were-” Ford looked at Stan. “Maybe I was wrong.”
“Look, I’d love to catch up with ya, but my lil siblin’s are visitin’,” Fiddleford said. “They’ve been sharin’ some rather important information, so this isn’t quite the right-”
“Who’s at the door, Fidds?” a voice asked from inside. Stan took a step back.
“Shit,” he breathed. Angie appeared in the doorway.
“Stanley?” Angie asked. “What are ya doin’ here?”
“You know these two?” Fiddleford asked her. Angie nodded.
“Stan’s the…father. And Ford is his twin brother.” She scowled. “He also knew I wanted to be alone today so’s I could break the news to ya.” Angie put her hands on her hips. “I thought you were goin’ to spend today trackin’ down someone.”
“That’s why we’re here,” Stan said. “Ford tracked Bitmap to this house.”
“I must have been wrong, though,” Ford said. “I mean, I know Fiddleford, and he couldn’t possibly be-” Ford cut himself off. “Wait. Fiddleford, you- how do you know Angie?”
“She’s my baby sister, o’ course!” Fiddleford said, draping an arm around Angie’s shoulders. Ford gaped. “And the reason why ya tracked Bitmap here is ‘cause I’m Bitmap.”
“What? That’s- that can’t be right,” Ford said. “I mean, Bitmap is- Bitmap is a villainous hacker, and you- you’re quite the gentleman and-” Fiddleford raised an eyebrow. “…You’re also the older brother of two high-profile villains.”
“Yes,” Fiddleford said. “I am.” He sighed. “It’s not the best to have the two of ya just bein’ on my lawn fer ten years, so come inside.” He and Angie stood to the side so that Ford and Stan could walk in.
“This is a step up from our dorm room, huh?” Ford said jovially to Fiddleford. Fiddleford chuckled softly.
“Yessir.”
“Ford, how do you know…Fiddle…” Stan trailed off awkwardly. “Uh, Fiddle…” He rubbed the back of his neck.
“Fiddleford,” Ford said. “And we were college roommates.”
“Oh, this is the computer geek you roomed with in college!” Stan said. Angie snorted.
“Computer geek. Yep, that’s my big brother.”
“I’m a bit more ‘n a computer geek,” Fiddleford muttered, closing the door.
“Yes, yes,” Angie said. She ruffled Fiddleford’s hair. “I know, yer a full-blown technopath. And I’m very proud of ya. I mean, why else would my crew hire ya to do all of our…computer stuff? No one can track ya down.”
“‘Cept fer Stanford, apparently,” Fiddleford said. He crossed his arms. “How on earth did ya get through my firewalls, by the way?”
“They went down for a split second about an hour and a half ago,” Ford said. Fiddleford frowned. “It was only for a very short time, but it was just long enough for me to get a foot in.”
“I have the firewalls runnin’ constantly, even when I’m sleepin’. They would only go down if somethin’ distracted me enough to grab the entirety of my focus ‘n attention,” Fiddleford mumbled. Angie let out a small gasp. Everyone looked at her.
“Fidds, I- I ‘member what happened about an hour and a half ago.”
“Oh?” Fiddleford said. Angie nodded.
“That was ‘round the time that I told ya I was pregnant with a hero’s baby,” she said quietly. Fiddleford froze.
“Oh. Oh, Lord.” Fiddleford rubbed his face. “Oh, Lord, I- I was so thrown off by- by the news, I-” He grimaced. “I better go check to make sure nothin’ else went down while I was bein’ distracted.”
“Sorry, Fidds,” Angie mumbled. Fiddleford waved a hand.
“I mean, I had to find out eventually. Why don’t ya show yer beau and Stanford to the living room, while I check on things.”
“Yep.” Angie strode away. Ford and Stan followed her.
“Hey, Angie,” Stan said. Angie turned around.
“Yes?”
“Why the hell do your brothers keep calling me your ‘beau’?” Stan asked. Angie sighed.
“If I ever figure it out, you’ll be the first to know.”
-----
Angie opened the door to the farmhouse.
“Hello?” she called. There was a loud bark. A dog barreled down the hallway toward her and collided soundly with her legs. She chuckled. “Howdy there, Denver.” Angie scratched Denver behind the ears. “Is anyone home other than the dog?”
“Yes, sweetie!” Ma McGucket rounded the corner and came into sight. She strode over to her daughter. “Sorry, I was in the sewin’ room.” She kissed Angie on the cheek. “How was the drive?”
“Not too bad. Long, but that was expected.”
“Where are yer husband and daughters?” Ma McGucket asked. “They came too, right?” Angie rolled her eyes.
“The girls fell asleep in the car. Stan’s wakin’ ‘em up to bring ‘em in.”
“Ah.”
“Holy-!” a voice shouted outside. Fast footsteps sounded up the porch stairs. Angie moved away from the door just in time for it to burst open. Stan rushed inside and slammed the door closed behind him.
“Howdy, Stan, girls,” Ma McGucket said. Danny and Daisy, being carried by Stan, grinned at their grandmother.
“Hi, Grannie Gucket!” Daisy shouted. She squirmed out of Stan’s grip. Danny followed suit. Stan stared at Angie.
“There- there was a chicken chas- chasing-” he stammered. Angie frowned.
“It’s a farm, darlin’. There are bound to be chickens.”
“Yeah, but it had teeth!”
“So?” Angie asked. Stan squinted.
“Look, I know I didn’t grow up on a farm like you did, but I’m pretty sure chickens aren’t supposed to have teeth.”
“…Oh. Right. Normal chickens don’t have teeth,” Angie said slowly.
“What the hel- heck kinda chickens do you have here?” Stan demanded.
“Our livestock and produce are primarily sold to villains,” Ma McGucket said. “The chickens are a favorite of Busterphedon.”
“Sweet Moses,” Stan muttered. “Chickens with teeth. For supervillains.”
“Puppy!” Danny squealed, catching sight of Denver. Denver sat on the floor, wagging his tail happily. Stan grabbed Danny by the shoulder before she could run to Denver.
“What is wrong with that dog?” he hissed at Angie.
“Nothin’s wrong with Denver!” Angie said. “He’s a real sweetheart.”
“His eyes are glowing.”
“That’s just from his mama. He’s half hellhound.”
“Half- Angie!”
“He’s also half normal dog. It’s fine.”
“Angie.”
“The dog we had growin’ up, Joel, he was full hellhound, and he didn’t do anything bad to us,” Angie said patiently. “It’s fine.”
“Stan, let yer daughter pet the puppy. Denver is great with kids,” Ma McGucket said. Stan scowled, but let Danny go. Danny promptly ran to Denver and wrapped her arms around one of his legs.
“Puppy!” she shouted again.
“I wanna pet!” Daisy said. She joined her twin.
“Smoft,” Danny cooed, stroking Denver’s fur. She looked back at Stan and Angie. “Want one.”
“Uh, no, we’re not gonna get a hellhound,” Stan said.
“You sure about that?” Ma McGucket asked. “The breeder owes us. He gives us free pups whenever we ask.”
“I’m sure,” Stan said flatly. Angie rolled her eyes. “Maybe you guys should put the chickens away for a while. Just while the girls are here. I mean, I don’t have anything wrong with kids getting a bit scraped up now and then, but demon chickens are too much.” Ma McGucket quirked her mouth into a half-smile.
“Fair enough,” she said. “To be safe, we shouldn’t let the girls wander ‘round unsupervised at all. They don’t know how to avoid the plants.”
“Plants?” Stan asked. Angie and Ma McGucket exchanged a look. “I’m gonna regret asking that, aren’t I.”
“A lot of the plants ‘round here are carnivorous,” Angie explained. “I mean, I know how to keep ‘em from eatin’ me, but-”
“The plants eat people?”
“Sometimes,” Angie said quietly. Stan pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Hellhounds, demon chickens, and man-eating plants,” he muttered. “Ford would love this place.”

Wether he would or not may not matter, as long as Wendy thinks he is...
I have a few, many of these are in various stages of research/writing/planning. And of course their Wendip:
1. Star Trek/Gravity Falls AU - Follow the advetures of Captain Mason 'Dipper' Pines and the crew of the USS Gravity Falls, a science vessel once under the command of his great Uncle Stanford. Crew: First Officer Wendy Corduroy - former classmate of Dipper's from the Academy, Can'di - half Vulcan half Romulan Chief Science Officer, Chutzpar - emissary of the Manotaurian Protectorate and acting Chief of Security, Soos - a Saurian engineer who replaced the former head of engineering Fiddleford McGuket, Pacifica Northwest - Orion science officer former & slave freed by the actions of the Pines, Tambry - Andorian Communication Officer, & Mabel Pines - 10 Foreward & acting ship's councilor.
2. Leverage/GF AU - Retired conman Stanley Pines decides to gather up family (both blood and otherwise) in order to initially gain revenge on the insurance company that didn't cover the operation needed to save his brother Shermie's life. He recruits his great nephew (Shermie's grandson) Mason 'DIPPER' Pines - a celebrated hacker, his great niece (Shermie's granddaughter and Mason's sister) Mabel Pines - catburglar extraordinaire, the daughter of an old associate Wendy Corduroy - world traveled ex-mercenary, & a former protege Pacifica Northwest - former rich girl who uses her old prestige/upbringing to run longterm cons.
3. Transformers story - Set in either the G1 or Aligned universe about a group of Autobots (2 scientists & 4 soldiers assigned to guard them) & Decepticons (intelligence squad after the 'secrets' the scientists were thought to have discovered) who were captured by aliens & placed into stasis before their ship crashed on Earth (this is where it would possibly be tied in with Gravity Falls, well that & the possibility that Ford encountered one of the scientists during his 'time abroad' as one of his jumps took him to Cybertron a few million years ago).
4. MiB: Gravity Falls - Thanks to the weirdness inherent to Gravity Falls (something that the Blind Eye Society had kept quiet), the MiB decide to open a branch in the Gravity Falls. Follow the adventures of Agent D and Agent W (and Agent D's sister, who is somehow resistant to the Neuralizer) as they deal with alien Sasquatches, the Lefties, Darlene & the spiderfolk, etc.
5. Tactical JRPG - While 17 year old Dipper was playing a videogame he found at a yardsale/swap meet, Mabel & the girls (Pacifica, Candy, Grenda, Wendy, & Tambry) are having a slumber party. A thunderstorm started shortly after the game began and Wendy snuck out of the party to see Dipper. Suddenly a weird lightning bolt hit the Shack (Or wherever they were staying at) when Dipper came to he was in the game.
6. Clue AU - Dipper, Wendy, Mabel, Candy, Stan, Ford, & Pacifica play as Green, Scarlett, White, Orchid, Mustard, Plum, and Peacock in a live version of the game at the McGuket Mansion.
7. Negima Falls - Young Dipper Pines, recent mage school graduate, recieves his final assignment before he can be classified as a master mage. He is to be an English teacher at the Mahora Academy in the Academy Town of Gravity Falls.
8. Mask - In a shipment of junk to be used as potential displays for the Shack there arrives a real ancient Norse relic, a certain wooden green Mask. It gets lost in the Shacks storage until one day Soos asks Dipper to rummage through things to help him with a new display. Dipper sees the Mask and feels that maybe Mabel could work her magic on it and picks it up. Before he realizes he's doing it he puts the Mask on and well if The Mask can do that to the repressed Stanley Ipkiss, imagine it with Dipper...
9. Street Fighter - After college Dipper has gone into Cryptid Archeology. He learns of a site in a remote country. The problem is the country has shut itself off to outsiders. Using his teams contacts he learns that on of the government officials hosts a fighting tournament. Pacifica's old friend Karin is able to get her 'Fighters' into the tournament, the main requirement is that it is for teams of three. Mabel has continued her kickboxing classes (and could be pro tournament ranked if she wanted) and he learned enough from Stan and his god father to hold his own in most fights, but they still need a third. Pacifica finds one but tells Dipper he may not like it, his former best friend Wendy Corduroy.
What crossovers would ya'll ever like to see with gravity falls? (of course, with wendip~) I kinda would like to see a crossover with SvtFoE, or Harry Potter.
Discuss!

Does Ford ever accidentally help Fiddleford with inventing in a way he uses for villain reasons? Or does Fiddleford keep that all separate? How long does Fiddleford keep hacking and stuff after they get together? Does Ford get all the Scary Talks Angies fam gave Stan?
Ford’s accidental contributions to Fiddleford’s villainy mostly amount to summoning different tools for Fiddleford when Fidds doesn’t want to go looking for it.
Fiddleford doesn’t stop being a hacker after he and Ford get together. He stops after Tate is born (but still dabbles in things like tax fraud).
No, Ford doesn’t get the scary talks. The general consensus with the family is that they aren’t intimidated by Ford. And Angie was very much a special case. Stan’s her archnemesis, he knocked her up before they knew each other’s secret identity, and to top it all off, Angie’s the baby of the family. Even if Stan wasn’t a hero who got Angie pregnant, they’d be eyeing him suspiciously. Angie’s family is very overprotective of her.

At first it sounded like Ford might not have any powers (I wondered if he was a tech-genius, making up in tech what he lacks in powers), but later it sounded like he does have something, it's just not great in a fight. Does he ever get dragged into the more physical side of things, or does he help develop stuff for the heroes?
(Hm. On the one hand, I'm thinking of the way Ford creates the electric gloves in canon, and favors guns. Kind of like Asami holding her own amongst all the benders in atlok. On the other, if he's kind of in a Q-like role, but family to heroes, his damsel-in-distress role may kick in more often.) What about Fiddleford in this AU? Does he have powers, or is he an engineering genius, or both?
Yep, Ford has a superpower, but he decided that it wasn’t a power that lent itself well enough to battles, so he opted to not go into heroing. He mostly keeps his head down, focusing on his research into the inheritance of different superpowers. Ford probably does some stuff to help, like casing the area or helping to come up with different strategies. And he gets recruited to take down this hacker that Stan’s hero squad has issues with.
That hacker, surprise surprise, is Ford’s old college roommate, Fiddleford McGucket, who has technopathy, which pairs very nicely with his innate gift for engineering. Ford’s basically screwed, bc there’s no way he can take down a technopath engineer. But Fiddleford gets sloppy one day (the day that he finds out his baby sister knocked boots with a superhero, and that’s who the father of her children is), and Ford manages to track down Fiddleford to a specific physical location in Palo Alto, and he sends Stan that way to find this hacker. Stan shows up at Fiddleford’s house, only to find out that his girlfriend is already there, and it’s bc she’s the younger sister of the hacker that has been after his squad for over a year.
#Angie and Lute made the trip to Palo Alto to tell Fiddleford in person about Stan#...I'll say that this biggest mess starts off in San Diego (bc I already said that Angie works as a prof at WCT)#so it's just a day trip for Angie and Lute#they were not expecting Stan to show up at their older brother's place#Superhero/villain AU#ask#eregyrn-falls

Why are Lute and Angie villians anyway? I'd that just the way it is? Vigilante justice? Do they want to get their Ma expensive gifts? Did they lose a dare?
They’re villains bc it runs in their family. They just are villains. All the McGuckets are.
At the time of the latest ficlet, aka Stan and Ford meeting Lute and Angie without masks, Angie and Lute are the only currently active villains in the McGucket family.
Pa actually retired shortly after Violynn was born, and Ma kept on being a villain up until Angie was three. Ma has the same powers as Angie, so when Angie became a villain, she took her ma’s old codename, Sirocco. Ma McGucket became quite the notoriety. Her archnemesis was actually Ma Pines (whose codename I haven’t come up with yet). Ma McGucket and Ma Pines meet without masks for the first time at Danny and Daisy’s first birthday party. It...is terribly awkward.
Basstian (power: invisibility) was never an active villain, and neither was Harper (power: hydrokinesis, like Lute). Violynn fucked shit up for a while with her plant-controlling abilities (which she inherited from Pa McGucket), but decided to slow down and focus on her day job after her second child, Cellory, was born.
Fiddleford has never been active in terms of fighting in the streets; he just operates as a computer hacker/evil engineer, using his technopathy. He is still doing illegal technology things at the time of the Guck twins/Pines twins meet-up, though.
So, Angie and Lute are villains bc they’re carrying on the family tradition.
