Gwen and Hobie were taking Miles around Babylon Towers for a tour and arrived at the Dormitories. You came out of your room, overhearing their chatter and laughter filling the empty hallway.

“Another spider variant?” Miles tilted his head,, then noticed you had no watch,

“Nah mate she isn't a spider person,,,” Hobie waved at you, you smiled back at him.

“Miles this is Dr. L/n, she's from this Earth and the one who handles the infirmary.”

“Dr. L/n, I'm sure you know Miles.”

You offered your hand after Gwen's small introduction and he returned the gesture by shaking it,,

“I heard a lot about you from Peter, Miles.”

“You know Peter??” you nod, “We're good friends.”

The three invited you to walk with them and you happily agreed. You were planning to go to the lab but it doesn't hurt to get some time to take a little detour.

Miles kept asking questions, he was so curious about this whole secret union.

“So you've been here for a long time?”

“I went to school with Miguel, I've been here since the beginning of this guild.”

“What...?? So he isn't that old?”

You laughed,, “Surprisingly, we're the same age." then shrugged jokingly.

“Did Miguel ever have a like relationship,” you paused, not expecting that kind of question.

“Who would ever date Miguel?” Gwen scoffed then crossed her arms, the others started to think about it and subtly agreed.

Miles and Gwen reminded you of each other,, once upon a time. It made you smile, Hobie beside you, noticing your gaze softened so much.

On the top floor, Miguel and Peter were talking.

"I've hurt her so much before, I've been a jerk but I have been trying to make it up for the mistakes I did when we were young.”

He usually ranted his problems to Peter, who listened carefully. Usually the topic of their conversations was you, maybe that's why you've been feeling the sniffles lately.

“When I had Gabriella,, I didn't think anything mattered anymore and I pushed her away. It was all a mistake,, and I don't know how to fix this.”

Miguel sighed deeply, pushing his brown locks back with his hands. He sat on his office chair, his foot tapping on the floor. Then when the weight of the multiverse was placed on him, you just stood there. Watching it all play out.

“Maybe cause you've been a workaholic, plus cheater your whole life that you don't really deserve her...” Peter sighed, then realizes what he said and started to panic as Miguel covered his face in defeats.

“What am I ever going to do?”

“It worked out for me and MJ,” he rests his hand on Miguel's shoulder, giving a reassuring smile, “Im sure it'll work out for you too.”

Maybe I would have some spiders come and go after a little bruise or light concussion and get a well deserved rest after the grand chase, or at least that's what I thought,, but before my break, Miguel came into the infirmary.

He said he needed some Rapture. But usually,, he was the one who injected it himself.

Even if something off was going on, I told him to sit and started to prepare. The nano tech on his suit disappeared and made space enough for the needle to enter. I put on my gloves and started to infuse the serum. He winced when I took it out and his eyes started to tighten. I started to check him, to see if anything was wrong.

So nothing was up with him him physically, just mentally cause I noticed

that he looked like he wanted to say something,,

It became more obvious that he did since felt his eyes on me while cleaning and sanitizing, at this point it felt like it was burning my back.

“Do you want a lollipop or what?” we both laughed,, I crossed my arms and turned to face him, “What's wrong, Miggy? You're being strange today.”

“You noticed?”

He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me close,

“Oh please,,, I've known you for most of my life.”

I tried to stay as good friends with him, and we did do some stuff that was kind of a stress relief. It benefited us. Maybe that's why we were friends with benefits.

“Do you ever just wonder if we weren't here?”

I raised an eyebrow at his question,, “If you didn't create this,,?” I raised my arms to try and describe the whole big thing that's going on,, he laughed. God his laugh was so hot.

“Like, if I never tried to quit Alchemax and we stayed together.”

My lips pressed together, my face became filled with false confusion. I knew what he was trying to say,, but so suddenly?

I gulped and push him away, making there be distance between us. I hugged myself, feeling overwhelmed.

“No matter how much you reject me, I always find myself seeking you.”

Miguel stood up, explaining how much he yearned for me like it was some thesis defense,,

“I need you like how I need air to breath,,,”

He cupped my face,, I shook my head, the hope in his eyes started to drain.

“You didn't think that when you cheated on me,,” I looked up at him and said sadly, brushing him away.

He stood there, like a hopeless child that got lost. My face became serious. What did he want? Encouragement like some dog one last time? If I give him the same attention I did when I came back then I'd be wrapped around his hold once again,, and I promised myself to never do that.

But why do I feel little hope that he could do something (babe), say something (babe), risk it all and not lose me. I don't know what I'm supposed to do, haunted by those “What ifs”. Like what if we worked out?

Miguel left after I scanned his body. Everything was stable and he left. Our conversation was short lived after the awkward confession he made, he was so corny.

I looked around the infirmary,, it was quiet, no one was there, and I decided to go to the canteen. Thinking that we were lucky that it wasn't a busy day. Unbeknownst to us,, someone was resting on one of the beds, covered by the curtains.

Black Soldier Fly Larvae.

A native and beneficial insect, the Black Soldier Fly larvae consume 100% of our kitchen waste. They convert it into rich compost and protein/fat. They are an amazing and altruistic biological nano-tech!

The fly (Hermetia _illucens) is not a pest to humans. They are not attracted to human habitation but are instead attracted to rotting food or manure. Their lifespan is short (roughly a week), and they do not bite or sting. They are among the most efficient animals at converting waste into rich compost.

Physical description from Wikipedia:

Hermetia illucens is a mimic fly, very close in size, color, and appearance to the organ pipe mud dauber wasp and its relatives. The mimicry of this particular kind of wasp is especially enhanced in that the fly’s antennae are elongated and wasp-like, the fly’s hind tarsi are pale, as are the wasp’s, and the fly has two small transparent “windows” in the basal abdominal segments that make the fly appear to have a narrow “wasp waist”.[4]

In regions where the BSF is native, it is a much more efficient and simpler means of composting organic waste. In traditional thermophilic composting, it is critical to establish a proper Carbon to Nitrogen ratio, moisture level, and aerobic environment. This system also doesn’t work well with meat, dairy, oils, etc. And it takes months to compost what the BSF larvae can do in weeks.

In contrast, the BSF colony will accept any form of organic waste and dispose of it efficiently. Carrion is also a welcome feedstock. We have tossed dead toads, birds, and rodents into the bin, and the larvae have devoured them and converted them to beneficial waste in hours. Meat, dairy, and leftover food are also perfectly fine to toss into the bin. They also love coffee grounds.

The larvae reduce much of the bacteria in decomposing waste, and as a result, there is little odor. The flies also inhibit the presence of standard houseflies:

Black soldier fly larvae are a competitor to housefly larvae (Musca domestica), as they make manure more liquid and thus less suitable for housefly larvae. Their presence is also believed to inhibit ovipositing by the housefly. For instance, they have been shown to reduce the housefly population of pig or poultry manure by 94-100%. As a result, they can help to control housefly populations in livestock farms and in households with poor sanitation, thereby improving the health status of animals and people since the housefly is a major vector of disease (Sheppard et al., 1994; Newton et al., 2005).

We use a BioPod to attract the flies and raise and harvest the larvae. There are also DIY methods. The container must be covered but not sealed so tightly that the flies cannot enter. And the larvae do not like light. The BioPod has narrow ramps for the larvae to climb, and they self-harvest by dropping into the drawer on the front of the enclosure. There is also a hose on the rear of the pod for draining liquified compost (tea).

The flies prefer warm temperatures, and we find them starting in May and lasting until November. They can be raised indoors in colder climates, but it is a much more involved process. We simply throw food into the pod, and that’s it. The flies will lay eggs in a compost roller (we currently have larvae in ours), but there is not a means to self-harvest the larvae.

Fauci and his emails

These emails make interesting reading. Thanks to Judicial Watch, more and more of these have been released, and they tell exactly the tale that those wacky insurrectionists have been saying all along.

For example, Fauci has been giving money, via annual contracts, to WuHan since at least 2010. The usual method was to wash the cash through third parties, primarily a place called EcoHealth, run by - you have heard this name before - Peter Daszak. Peter denies any ties to Wuhan and the virus research, but that is clearly not accurate. The bat research, and SARS, Covid and similar viruses have been the main subject of this research. Wuhan had sloppy safety standards, even then, and some emails show the lab asking Fauci for PPE, and for disinfectants capable of protecting their lab people and equipment from the results of this research. One of the areas of study was to find a way to include nano technology, either in injected vaccines, or in aerosols, to inoculate people. Well, boys and girls, do you now see the dots? Can you connect them?

A sixty year old couple was enjoying breakfast, when there was a knock at the door. Looking at their 'ring' feed, they saw a man they did not know, who was trying to enter their home. So, how did a violent offender get a gun, and what was he doing breaking into homes of people he did not know? Governor Newsom, can you take a break from trying not to be thrown out, and answer these questions about your leadership?

'Whiteness'

At least 30 school districts, in 15 states, are using a text for small children that teaches that 'Whiteness' is not only evil, but that it is 'a contract with the devil.' How is it that people who do not believe in God actually do believe in the devil? Did we miss something here?

To explain why he is suing Big Tech, he wrote a full page editorial in the Wall Street Journal, and laid out his case. He noted, among many other things, that it is unconstitutional not only for the government to conduct such censorship, but also it is illegal for government to use third parties to do this for them. He said, "in effect, Big Tech has been illegally deputized as the censorship arm of the US government"

Well, the liberal media exploded. How dare the WSJ publish anything from Trump, much less allow free speech? Guess they cannot abide any thoughts other than their own talking points, changeable as those are.

Portland, Oregon

Here, in the home base of Antifa and other radical, violent groups, something happened. Not that it is unexpected, given a year of street violence. A man, Luke Stolarzyk, had an argument with his neighbor Keneth Nelson, over a dog barking late in the evening. Luke was drunk as a skunk, and stormed off to get his gun, (yes, it really was an AR-15, not the usual handgun, this time). He returned and emptied a magazine into the area, hitting a bunch of cars, several apartments and so forth. Another neighbor, John Dickson, snuck up behind Luke (who was using 'the force') and hit him with a stick. Then, John continued to beat him up, knocking the drunk out, and others came and helped tie up Luke until police arrived. Fortunately, no one was injured in this shooting spree. Luke remained loud, vocal and threatening. His gun was legal, by the way, but his use of it in this manner was not. Luke is facing a pile of charges. Of course, this is Oregon, so whether or not he spends time in jail is unknown.

San Francisco

The Gay Men's Choir drew a lot of hate and discontent with a song they presented where the repeated theme is 'You don't like us, but we are coming for your children. We will convert them to our ways.' Not everyone in the city by the bay is pro gay, nor are they interested in having their childrfen recruited into that community.

Louden City, Virginia

This story just will not go away. A gym teacher was fired for refusing to play the transgender game, calling these people by 'their' pronouns, etc. because it offended his Christian beliefs. It went to court, and the judge ruled in favor of the teacher, and ordered him reinstated. The school board however, will not accept that, and has appealed to the state Supreme Court. Facts can be stubborn things.... If the school loses there, who knows how far this will go? This is where the property tax money of the locals is going - promoting social engineering, not teaching kids.

He has said 'enough'. He is introducing a bill to outlaw the mask mandates on airplanes. As we all know by now, masks do not work, and all this 'virtue signaling' is just for show. But Biden, or rather, his handlers, are not going down quietly. They are making noises about having another run of lockdowns, since 'the science' shows that they cause more harm than good, and do nothing to stop the spread. But, it was such a wonderful tool for control, to promote wealth for Big Business, and to build a new industry of mask making, and hand sanitizers.

In a study on the use of zinc oxide nanoparticles as nanomedicine, the mixture could kill the H1N1 influenza and the SARS viruses which are both a family of the coronavirus. Thus, applying such to surfaces could be effective in preventing the spread of COVID-19,” CLSU Nanotechnology Research and Development (R&D) Facility head Juvy Monserate said.   Bioethanol produced by the College of Engineering and the Affiliated Renewable Energy Center were reconstituted to obtain 70 percent ethyl alcohol needed in the production of the nano enhanced alcohol.   The protocol in producing the ethanol was shared by Mariano Marcos State University President Shriley Agrupis as part of a previous R&D partnership between the two state universities.

“To sustain the production of bioethanol as required by the university for the mass production of nano enhanced alcohol, our team needed only five to seven days including fermentation weekly. To jumpstart the production, we collaborated with different Centers of CLSU Research, Extension and Training (RET) Program as they have received molasses and yeast from other centers such as Small Ruminant Center, Philippine Carabao Center at CLSU and the Ramon Magsaysay-Center for Agricultural Resources and Environment Studies,” Affiliated Renewable Energy Center Director Marvin Cinense shared.   Aside from the production of alcohol and sanitizer, the research team was also able to come up with a washable mask using nano fiber as a filter.   “These efforts are really service-oriented where it intends to provide the frontliners including health workers and uniformed personnel with alcohol, sanitizer and mask to serve as weapons to win the fight against COVID-19,” CLSU Vice President for RET Fe Porciuncula said.

In a statement, CLSU President Edgar Orden emphasized the very importance of providing solutions to COVID-19 situation through S&T.   He also supports the eventual commercialization of the nano enhanced alcohol, sanitizer and washable face mask so that these can be mainstreamed in the market and made available for anyone interested to buy, subject to adherence to standards and requirements, rules and regulations set forth by the Food and Drug Administration.
