I've got an edge case. Arin Hanon appears in asdfmovie4 (released 2011), and Sam Reich appears in asdfmovie15 (released 2024). Would the asdfmovie 1-15 complete collection (an official compilation of every asdfmovie) count as a collaboration between the two, or would you need to put TomSka in between?

Arin Hanson from Egoraptor has a Tom Scott number of 2.

Since asdfmovie 1-15 (Complete Collection) is a compilation of various videos, Sam Reich is not connected to Arin Hanson through that video. Thankfully, since TomSka has a Tom Scott number of 1, Arin has the same Tom Scott number either way.

I FEEL LIKE THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT MOMENT OF MY LIFE.

I work as a receptionist at the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders where I live.

On Halloween, we’re having an office party, and I decided to dress up as Pam Beesly from The Office. We’re both receptionists, we both work with watercolor, and we wear almost the same styles to work.

I usually stay in my office to answer phones and emails, but my boss has given me a special task for the day of our Halloween party.

I get to stand outside the screening rooms and HAND OUT CANDY TO THE CHILDREN WHO COME IN FOR AUTISM SCREENINGS.

How cute is that?! I feel like this will be the sweetest moment of my entire life.

It’s also totally something Pam would do! I remember that episode where all the office workers took their kids to work and Pam put out extra candy on her desk to get the kids to come and talk to her, and I feel like I’m getting that full circle moment here.

I also have to save all the black jelly beans for Dwight.

John Hanson was elected as the leader (President) of the 13 States. He was the leader during the Articles of Confederate, before the Constitution. So there is an argument that he was not president per the country.

Maybe let’s rethink the “great filter” theory (that supposedly explains the Fermi Paradox).

I heard the “great filter” referenced twice in one day, once on PBS Space Time and again on Conspirituality Podcast. And I wish people would understand that this is a concept come up by an economist that’s for some reason probably favoured by the fossil fuel industry, and also has been wrapped up in a lot of this strange techno rapture stuff of tech tycoons. But even worse, in February 2020, he suggested purposely infecting Americans with the pandemic – on Valentine’s Day in fact. This was MONTHS before the Scott Atlas stuff and the Great Barrington Declaration nonsense. Maybe we should rethink his ideas, because maybe they’re not so rock solid on the “Great Filter” concept either. I already started rethinking it with regards to the political economy of Star Trek, but maybe it really doesn’t make sense to think about things like this at all.

I have! Yeah yeah, that’s a cool movie, isn’t it? It’s one of my favorites right now. At least on Netflix anyway.

And of course somebody looks familiar to me. The guy who plays Ken is in it! I mean, he’s not platinum blond and he’s got a beard, I definitely recognize him.
