Looking forward to your Harpars Bazaar cover thoughts.. I just need Jin to stop tilting his head to the left and soften his mouth. Not a huge fan of this Gucci campaign (stylistically) so far...

I'm not living. I was excited for the ambassadorship because I adore this:

but this new campaign is not exactly giving what the rock musician concept is promising. I'm half putting it down to the clothes which seem a lil bit, you know, aesthetically mismatched to the concept.

This is kinda cool though I think a bratty look away from camera might have been nice. He actually looks so great in these two more casual outfits. He's wearing the clothes rather than the clothes wearing him:

I think this suit and red gloves is a little more off the mark for him though:

I'm pining for Hobi with this one.

Maybe I don't entirely buy Jin in this concept? He's so boy next door, so handsome and so fun. Who is this guy? Imagine him in like Bode! Something colourful that drew on his actual assets. Though I suppose if Gucci comes knocking with a paycheck you're hardly saying "oh actually I don't think it's me." And I don't think Gucci is spending a lot of time watching Run BTS like "What's his CHARACTER telling me?"

It just needs... Something. Like a creative director who gives the impression they hired for vibes. I actually weirdly think Celine Ready to Wear would be very fitting for Jin but Celine struck gold already.

hi! i hope if it isn't too much trouble could you point me towards some African-inspired clothes? I'm doing a project for school and need to design some outfits so I thought I could look here for inspiration, thank you so much <3

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply back, I really had to think about how to answer this question as best as possible because honestly I don't know any African fashion designers. As for African inspired fashion, my mind is drawing a bit of blank apart from one collection that sticks out in my mind from Zuhair Murad which leans more towards Moroccan themes. However Harpar's Bazaar also states that there are smatterings of North African references throughout the collection. You can view the collection here thanks to Vogue, but if anyone knows of any other collections or designers that lean heavily into African heritage please feel free to drop a comment below. I hope my answer somewhat helps you out with project for school... unless I'm too late and you've completed it already.
