things olixia has done to be a general menace:

replaced writing instruments with carefully disguised sticks.

covered door knobs in sticky substances

found a sleeping target and procured an absurd number of mini pumpkins to surround them with

attempted to stack items on sleeping targets, multiple times

moved all the furniture exactly one inch

hidden your-choice-of-fruit in the hideouts in various spots for people to find and be confused by. a new one is placed each day

hidden behind things to give you A Fright ( she is very good at Sneaking )

other numerous inconveniences

cooking & food headcanons

eleazar is a really good cook!! he even knows how to bake. unfortunately, most of his cooking & favorite meals also involves fish so if u want him to cook for you, i hope you enjoy fish. it's something he finds relaxing and he enjoys making meals for other people.

theldra is not a great cook. she's learned more since traveling, but usually prefers to buy from vendors. it's not something she particularly enjoys doing and would rather avoid. she is, at least, very good at making tea, and likes to pick up tea from various places on her travels. some would say she has too much.

olixia isn't good at cooking and her diet is like, 90% raw fruits and vegetables with some bread and eggs thrown in. she's genuinely not good at cooking and will always over or under season things assuming she doesn't burn them. oli is the type to burn water. the only exception to this is she can make bread & some very simple sweets. she doesn't eat meat, but since traveling, has become willing to eat seafood and eggs.

i'm doing some reading on the beast tribes + thinking about olixia so

olixia was about four when she was found. young enough that the sylph most likely still interacted with city states on the regular. in arr's timeline, "It was approximately [fifteen] years ago that the last of the beastmen was driven out from Ul’dah."

i think when she was a bit older (eight or nine) she would go to gridania sometimes. i have some thoughts on why no one has, at any point, tried to stop the sylph from raising oli but i'm gonna hold off on talking about that.

oli is probably good with math and numbers, much to everyone's surprise. i mentioned before she was illiterate but i'm taking that back based on my reading. her spelling is absolute garbage though.

she was learning merchantry & trade before the majority of her village became tempered. assuming the idea the ashcrown consortium still exists in arr & onward, it means they didn't have to rely on them so much since olixia looks like a hyur. she could easily go in and out of gridania without making anyone nervous.

my timeline stuff isn't great b/c time is fake so i'll figure out more specific stuff later maybe.

things i am nonstop thinking about: 

olixia losing one family and being unable to save them. then the next family goes off and gets destroyed and she’s actually there and still can’t do anything. and how she can’t stop losing everyone she cares about and feeling useless.

edit as non-wol, olixia still basically loses her second family and just glues herself to the wol’s side.

i think..... by the end of stormblood, olixia begins to talk less and less like the sylph, especially when it comes to how she refers to herself. people still tend to get referred to by traits rather than names, especially when she’s not talking to them directly.

just want 2 talk about olixia for a second and one of the things i like / want to explore with her character: she is, generally speaking, a nice and pleasant person - the type to help even her enemy.

but this aspect of kindness does not stem from a good heart, rather because she feels a moral obligation to try and do the right thing, regardless of personal feelings. so when confronted by tough choices, olixia will almost always choose the morally correct option (or try to do so) -- but she also is the type to spit on ur grave and still want bad things to happen to people she dislikes.

i also think olixia has the viewpoint of you need to put good into the world to get good out of it.
