Abberline leaned his back against the old oak deep in the forest. His hands trembled as he held the fabrics of his coat and shirt in one and his gun in the other. Smoke still poured from the barrel. His breathing was deep yet laboured. Pain shot through his chest, where he tried to ignore the bite mark over his heart. Blood trickled down to his stomach, and sweat dripped from his brow. He concluded the shock from these very recent events to be the cause of these effects.

He stood over his target. A werewolf. A mere man with no magical abilities had hunted and killed what had killed so many, including his own family and nearly his lover. But now, Abberline felt sick. The tremors in his hands weren't going, and he felt a fever spread through his body. He had yet to conclude that the one he had just shot dead was the cause.

Forcing himself against the tree, he turned to make his way back to the road, only to see a figure in the treeline.

'I'd stay back, sir.' His words were slurred. His vision began to blur. He stumbled but found his footing. 'This is a...a...' He took a quick breath. 'Crime scene.' Then he collapsed. Still awake but very much in a state of shock.

had a dream last night about fifteen and thirteen getting high together and while they were laying together on the floor of the tardis blazed out of their gourds, thirteen went, “i am STARVING. are you starving.” and the entire rest of the dream consisted of them taking the tardis down to a late night gas station and gathering up as many snacks as they could while giggling. anyway bbc make it happen-
