Daaaaaammmn man you are sooooo correct actually. 😔 I am giving FromSLOP way more credit than I need, it all is really not that deep and totally blue curtains and there is no point in engaging with the characters and their story because they are all just reference and we already can know everything that happened by just reading Bajonk.

Everyone knows about how MiqDonalds walking in shown in the trailer was cut after the devs decided to change boss battle Divine Gamergate from being bloody and rotted to not make their Bruhserk reference too obvious yet again. But I think a way less common knowledge of the cut content is that the change was even deeper and THIS is what the actual early draft looked like:
