"i'm just sayin' there has to be some kind of way to make this shit less painful. one of these magical people have to know something." he was still looking at the menu as if he hadn't eaten there a million times by now. hendrix was hyper focused on the idea that somehow magic could make lycanthropy less of a curse and he'd been bringing it up to his brother every opportunity he could. "at this rate I would take heavy sedation and chains every full moon if it meant i could avoid my time of the month, you know?"

who: @hiddenxrituals ( bunny )
where: auto shop
when it was a slow day, hendrix liked to work on one of the bigger projects like rebuilding the 1968 dodge charger he was hoping to get his hands on when done for putting so much work into it. he lifted his head from behind the hood when he heard footsteps approaching and smelled perfume that was most definitely not common amongst his coworkers. "hey, what can i do for you?" he asked, looking around for a second if bunny was there to see someone or if he'd missed a car, then back to her when he didn't see anything. "need your car serviced?"

his face twisted into a disheartened scowl when jareth pointed out the unlikelihood of it being a thing. “i was going to try and talk to someone. i don’t know who but i’ve meet enough magical creatures and people that i figured someone would maybe know something.” hendrix was under the impression that maybe people just didn’t know what they went through every moon phase. he didn’t know a lot about the other species he shared the planet with, though he was learning more and more as he got older and acted on curiosities he avoided before. “i feel like we should be able to get a little bit of a break. i feel like we got the worst end of the supernatural stick.”
"You'd think," Jareth mumbled, chewing on his necklace chain as he also looked at the menu for something to do. "I don't think there's any way to avoid it; it's like how no matter what they do, vampires have to drink some form of blood. It's just the nature of the beast; excuse the pun. The exchange for being more than human is apparently blinding pain. Why, you thinking about going to talk to someone who knows a thing or two about magic?"

"Well hey, please be my guest to prove me wrong," Jareth flashed his brother a quick smile. "I've heard that people have written about how fuckin' painful it is, so either no everyone is that invested, or they can't figure out how to make it better. For your sake, I'm hoping it's the first option, because clearly, you've thought about it." He let out a soft sigh. "Our break is that we're normal people for most of the month, I guess. Just, you know, with annoyingly enhanced hearing and smelling. That one, I could do without, honestly."
