Biography

Lucas holds two things sacred in his life: the pack and his family. When his sister goes missing, he is willing to move heaven and earth to find her—whether or not she wants to be found.

He is loyal to his alpha, because the pack is all he’s ever known. But coming to Henrietta could prove to shake the foundations on which his life is built.

Personality

Lucas is definitely somewhere between redneck and good ole boy. He has some problematic tendencies—a product of his upbringing, but definitely has room to grow as a person and as a werewolf.

Biography

She traveled a lot and doesn’t have much memory from her childhood. She ended up in Henrietta and joining the godmother ferry.

Personality

Feral, with a capital F. Too much energy and not enough space! She will freak you out and then offer a muffin.

Biography

Ambitious. If there was one word Julian might use to label himself, it was ambitious. He wasn’t necessarily born into slavery, but his tribe was attacked while he was too young to even remember his family, his people. All he ever knew was the army. He was a slave, an errand boy for the Roman army with little to no hope for the future. But hope and ambition are not the same thing, and while he might have been depleted of one, he was full of the other. It was his ambition which got him noticed, never content to remain in his simple station. 

He pushed himself as hard as he could, going above and beyond at every opportunity, working hard than anyone around him and it worked. Julian got himself noticed by those above him and when he turned seventeen, he was freed in order to properly join the army. There again, he pushed himself to be the best. His ambition had him moving through the ranks quickly. He had the promise of a bright and comfortable future. 

He threw it all away for Reuben. A broken boy who begged for death when Julian discovered him still alive. He’d been killed two times over, but he was still alive when Julian took him out past the city to dump the body. Initially, Julian’s motives were not entirely pure. Reuben was clearly something other, something powerful, something unkillable. Having a comfortable life was one thing, not dying was something else. Julian wanted it. 

He got Reuben out of Rome. It wasn't an easy thing to do, but his status as a soldier made it possible for the two of them to get out together. The road wasn’t easy either, proven by the attack that nearly left Julian for dead. That was exactly what he needed to convince Reuben to turn him. 

A freshly turned vampire, Julian had everything he wanted. All of eternity to achieve success. Instead, he stayed with Reuben. There was no reason for it other than the way that Reuben looked at him made him feel worthy of something for the first time in his life. Success suddenly sounded more like a smile from Reuben than money or comfort. They reached Hibernia, safety from Rome and while Reuben remade himself into Maerin, Julian threw his focus into giving them a good life. Maerin had become his success, as far as he was concerned. 

That being said, Maerin’s happiness was no easy thing to achieve. Some days it was the opportunity to work on an illuminated manuscript, other days it was a fist fight. Julian learned his moods, how to anticipate them, how to give Maerin what he needed. Somewhere along the way, ambition faded to survival. Ireland was a home of perpetual unrest, and hiding was sometimes the best they could do. Adrian and Elizabeth were the best thing to happen to them. They were both so full of life and it breathed some of that old ambition and life back into Julian. Him and Maerin remembered what it means to look for something more, to have hope for the future. They allowed themselves to be pried from the safety of Ireland and see what the world had become, even returned to Rome once to see what had become of their old home. 

Henrietta was always this unreachable thing though, something that Julian wanted but knew he had no claim over. It belonged to Adrian. When the invitation came, it took no time at all for him and Maerin to pack up. Henrietta called. 

Personality 

Julian is ambitious to a fault. He is keenly observant, the kind to sit back and wait and watch before speaking, before acting. Every move he makes is calculated and careful, planned out with every possible outcome thought of first. Every member of his friend group is a person he considers under his protection, and he will do what it takes to keep them safe.

Biography

Sawyer is from Kentucky, she was turned one night while out with her boyfriend, who was killed by the same wolf. She comes from old money, not so much in the wealthy way of mansions and designer clothes, but in the way of always having a little more than enough and a sense of hard work being the reason they're able to stay well-off.

Personality

Sawyer is sweet, always wanting to make friends and help in any way she can. Shes a lover, not a fighter, but she'll fight for what she loves if she needs to. She grows attached to people quickly.

Biography

Carolina’s early life is a bit fuzzy. Born in 1852 in Henrietta, she was turned at age 20 (against her will) by one of the members of the local brood. After which, in a fit of rage, she ended up killing him. In fear for her life, she disappeared from Henrietta and moved around the country, taking on different names and eventually working her way up in society. Eventually, she made her way to Hollywood. But, after a fall from grace involving an affair with a major studio exec’s wife, she makes her way back to her hometown of Henrietta.

Personality

Carolina is often seen by most people as snooty, full of herself, and acting like she’s better than everyone else. While that is partially true, she also acts like a goofball, especially around Adrian and Adair.

Biography

Lena grew up moving around with her single mother, never staying in one place for long. However, when she was 15, at a high school party, she was knocked unconscious in a back room by a popular guy, and she woke up bloody; she had been turned to a werewolf at this point. Ashamed, she left home on her own, but while on the run, she got the news of her mother dying in a car wreck, and this devastated her. Eventually she made it to Henrietta, where the trailer pack invited her, and she’s been working as a waitress ever since.

Personality

Lena is sassy, doesn’t take shit from anyone, and is always sarcastic and cracking jokes. She has a tough exterior but she always has a soft spot for her friends.

Biography

Joanie grew up in Henrietta. Her older brother died when she was a teenager. She got married at 18 to a childhood sweetheart and moved away, and at 21, she had her son, Laramie. Her husband turned out to be a drunk and incredibly abusive, but she tried to hold it together for her son. But as soon as Laramie was old enough, she left her husband and brought Laramie back to Henrietta, where Joanie became a pastor.

Personality

Joanie is a sweet, kind woman who is accepting of everyone. She loves her town and she loves her pack.

Biography

He was born to George and Luperca Smith. He was born in Forks WA. His mother died in labor giving birth to Jax, his father was killed in a fight when a vampire attacked the wolf pack, after this Jax found his first mate, who was killed by a hunter. He than needing to get away from everything, grabbed the few possessions he had, and left.

It doesn’t have to be too detailed (unless you want, we love long bios), but please give us a brief idea of where your character comes from.

Biography

Nico was born in sunny San Diego. Well, not really, but that will come later. He was born to loving parents, and likely would have had an extremely happy life. Would have, had there not been a fire. He was five years old, and was the only survivor. There was no one else to take him in, and so he was left to the tender care of the foster system.

Being a hyperactive child with a penchant for setting things on fire as a way to deal with his own trauma, surprisingly, did not endear him to most foster parents. He bounced from home to home, rarely staying more than a few months before he would move on to the next. Finally, when he was 12, he ended up in a group home for boys. It was different. Better, in a lot of ways, because the woman running it actually cared and knew how to deal with kids who were acting out. He had a family, of sorts there, for all they weren’t related by blood.

He stayed there until he graduated, and when he turned 18, that was when he began remembering. It wasn’t necessarily all at once, it was little things. Flashes of people that felt familiar, more than familiar, like they were him. Flashes of himself, with a family, in different countries, places he’d never seen. Ignoring it was the easiest way out, and so that was what he did. The party was what changed things. He hadn’t drunk that much, but his best friend had, and so he was driving them home. The memories flooded in as he was driving, and later he couldn’t quite remember why he swerved, if he thought it was something coming for him, or if he had just been overwhelmed, but when he woke up, he was blind, his best friend was dead, and he had all the memories of his past lives. It had happened before, he knew that now. He had remembered every time, and it all linked back to one person

Nathan.

He had died, and it wasn’t something Nico could fix. He could try to find him, but that wasn’t his main concern right now. Adrian was important too. Adrian was immortal now, and he had been left without Nico or Nathan there to help him. He was just a kid, for all that he was older than Nico technically was. Of course, the first place he checked was the small town Adrian had ranted about several times, but Adrian wasn’t there, which followed with his luck.

He started traveling next, keeping an eye out for both Adrian and Nathan. If he was right with the pattern, Nathan should be popping up soon. It was only a matter of finding him. And if he focused only on finding those two, on fixing his past mistakes, he wouldn’t have to think of his current ones. It made life easier, in a way, and even easier when he checked on Henrietta again, to find that Adrian was there. Or at least, had been there very recently.

So here he is, looking for his son in a small town nothing like what he knows, with people that are just a touch too weird to be human.

Personality

Nico is impulsive to a fault. This means he often does things like literally give the shirt off his back to someone, and then he sometimes does things like jump in the ocean in the middle of winter. He is always ready for an adventure, and equally ready to haul someone else along with him. It’s rare to find him without a smile and a ready joke for whoever he’s talking to, no matter what he might be going through.

Biography

Kaitlyn always had a penchant for the weird and unusual. She was drawn to it! Even her oldest journals had doodles of cryptids in the margins and notes on the supernatural hastily scrawled on any available blank space. Eventually she found her love of writing matched her love of the unknown and became a journalist.

That didn’t work out. Bouncing from paper to paper was hard, and no one really wants to hire a supernatural specialist. Soon Kaitlyn started a blog about her everyday supernatural encounters (which mostly weren’t supernatural at all) and it slowly gained traction, turning her into a semi popular blogger.

Eventually running out of supernatural content, She turns to the inter webs. She stumbles upon rumors of a small town in Texas. This is her current destination, and the setting of her new blog “The Hotbed in Henrietta”

Very observant and wide eyed investigator. She can and will find a story in anything, whether or not the story is true is up to you dear reader.

Barrett was abandoned as a youngster and has spent most of his life moving from place to place, pack to pack trying to find a place to call home.

Personality

He tends to intimidate people with his large stature (7' tall, 300+ pounds), but is really a gentle giant. He's more than capable of defending himself, but kind and sometimes shy. He isn't any good at reading people and will try to make friends with just about anyone.

Biography

Etta was born and raised in Henrietta. As were her parents, and their parents, and theirs....  For as long as she could remember, Etta Grace’s goal was to leave the town she felt trapped in. And she was so close. Only a summer break stood between the acceptance letter from Yale that she held in her hands and her new life away from her small southern town.

And then she was killed. Well, no. Being killed might have been easier. What she ended up being was much more complicated.

She was babysitting— one of her many summer jobs— in a park when she was stabbed, and then later kidnapped by the vampire who turned her soon after.

Her first month as a vampire was a blur of faces and blood, never really knowing where she was or how she was acquiring her food. She doesn’t remember much of it, but knows that she was responsible for the death of at least four people.

Eventually, she was able to separate herself from the woman that had turned her and ended up finding the lake coven right back in Henrietta.

Where many vampires consider their curse to be their blood-thirsty nature or their eternal damnation, Etta considered hers to be the inability to move on from Henrietta, no matter how hard she tries. As a brand new vampire, she needed the guidance of the others so she could not be on her own, and, before long, she couldn’t imagine her life without having them to rely on. Both of which kept her far away from her life up north that she had lost.

Personality

Etta grew up a people-pleaser. She pushed herself to be perfect in every aspect of her life. Which means, now, she still feels that pressure to fix everything and always have the right answer.

She was very shy and quiet all her life, mostly due to her high anxiety, but began speaking up more after being turned into a vampire. She still has the tendency to retreat in stressful situations, or avoid big groups of people, but she is much more comfortable standing up for herself and rebelling against what others might try to tell her to do.

Despite not being able to attend in-person college like she had hoped, Etta still does online university, and is working towards her bachelors in microphysics. School and learning have always been extremely important to her.

Biography

Lorilai was born to Sarah Johnson and Daren Creeves, Sarah was a born werewolf and Daren was a human. Her father and mother had a turbulent relationship with Sara leaving. Daren did the best ge could as a father but he wasn’t the best, expressing to a young Lorilai she shouldn’t express her wolf side making her youth and her young adulthood hard especially during full moons. Once in college she finally could feel a little free and could start expressing herself again. But is affected forever. She chose to start distancing herself from her human father. Then she met Cyrus, they fell in love and dated for the duration of college but, Cyrus was verbally abusive towards the end of their relationship. Due to not taking her birth control between the stress of graduating, finals, the stress Cyrus was putting on her. Shortly after graduation she and Currie got into a very bad fight, where she ended the relationship and found out she was pregnant. In fear of Cyrus hurting her or the baby, Lorilai fled leading her to discover through the grape vine, a trailer park with a pack.

Personality

Spunky, very kind and loving. But will take no shit and call you out on your own bull shit. Some times motherly even to adults. Intelligent, witty, some times smarmy. Tries to avoid fights and conflicts. Slightly anxious of being a true wolf even now.
