Vikings are not particular creative with names. Especially when twins are born. Ruffnut and Tuffnut anyone?

The Haddock twins were no exception to the rule. Hiccup and Hicca were nearly identical, save for their genders, Hicca’s hair was longer, and she was a bit shorter than her brother. But, their faces were alike. Their eyes were the same. They even had the same smile and wit.

Though, Hiccup had Toothless. Hicca tended to keep the smaller dragons as company. A whole hoard of Terrible Terror had imprinted on her.

Since they had begun to change Berk to a more dragon friendly home, the twins had been working hard. They were the best working with the dragons. For now, Hicca was carrying several baskets of fish.

“Can’t ask Snotlout to do anything ... Seriously ... two baskets of fish. Is that so much to ask?”

Right, myths were just rumors, nothing more than over-exaggerated stories. She really had seen far worse. She was eaten by a wolf after all. Most people thought that was a myth, a fabrication of a dramatic teenage girl. This was much different then wolves and red capes. This was giant dragons. Dragons on their own were freaky, but giant dragons? That was not something she ever wanted to see.

Hey Avannak, question for you. What do you thing is the age gap between Valka and Stoick? I've heard it's 15 years, but their Wiki pages have Stoick at 50 during HTTYD2 and Valka at 40+. I'm both a little confused and would like to hear a second opinion if you have time to give it.

Well, if we’re going with the official ages given at the beginning of the HTTYD2 craze:

Stoick is 50 and Valka is 40. Which means that she was 20 upon her abduction and Stoick was 30 and then 45 dealing with that nutjob son of his all aloney on his owney. I also guestimated that she was 17 when she married her 27-yr-old chief.

Apparently Valka’s age was taken down at some point on the website and now it says 40+? Maybe people made a stink about the age difference, much like they did about the weights and they changed things?

Either way, young!Stalka was a thing for me, at least, and I have a small collection of how they came to be. Medieval age-differences are more forgivable than ignoring muscle-mass in favor of catering to unhealthy body-image standards, imo.
