Even though Hikari was 7 years old and in 1st grade, she was more behind on certain things that the other kids already mastered, such as, tying her shoes, writing her full name, cutting with scissors, even speaking.

Her teachers saw a concern with her struggle and requested for her to be diagnosed. The results revealed she had rhotacism and DCD, or developmental coordination disorder, which affected her gross and fine motor skills.

Many of teachers were accommodating to her needs, except for one. Miss Karen, who was notorious for ignoring learning disorders.

Whenever hikari struggled to keep with the other kids, Miss karen would scold her, saying things like “stop being lazy!” Or “are you stupid or something? God, how are you even in this class?!”

This really damaged Hikari’s self esteem and made her more reluctant and too frustrated to keep trying to master these skills. She felt like she couldnt be like any of the older kids.

About "light" and "darkness" in Digimon

If you are a member of Digimon fandom long enough, you will know a fact: there're lots of fic crossover between 02 and Frontier.

This is not weird or surprising. First, 02 and Frontier are both in the Seki quartet, the first four seasons of Digimon franchise. And going against common negative opinions of a part of fandom about these two seasons, 02 and Frontier do get quite a good love from many fans. They also do have many uncovered, contradicting, or just curious-inspired parts, so fanfics are just being numerous!

And interestingly: 02 and Frontier both get quite same treating from fandom because they are somewhat similar outsidely. The characters are "flat" and " bad stereotype". the plot is "messed up", and the two seasons "don't have deep messages". Of course, these are false ideas, but 02 and Frontier have a specific between-line writing that is difficult to understand and sympathize. I really don't blame the fans to misread!

02 and Frontier has characters both known for particularly tight group dynamics compared to others, and both groups are known to be somewhat "chaotic" (and, affectionately, “very stupid”). With 02, that is from lack of planning or being too airheaded. The Frontier gangs, on the other hand, can and will cause trouble and will be very proud of it. And somehow escape it perfectly, of course.

So? Basically, "Takeru would hate Kouichi because of him being the Warrior of Darkness. 02 group would be wary about Kouichi (and Frontier gangs because of that as well (especially Hikari too)." is a (in)famous trope in crossover between 02 and Frontier. Let's debunk it.

First, this is out of character of Takeru. People tends to forget that Takeru is a polite, respectful and carefree person. If someone tells him "Hey, there's a Warrior of Darkness!", well... He won't react so boldful. He is actually very infamous for keeping his emotions inside, so unless he saw something really pissed him off, I don't think he will act too angrious. Takeru never blew up at anyone without some kind of good reason; it’s just that the level of his intensity was unnerving.

Takeru will pretend he has it together and has everything under control. He won't show any of his negative feeling, instead, he would investigate and find out the truth himself... while dodging questions and his own emotions. He simply handles everything with a “yeah, okay, sure! :)” attitude. Except when really needed, Takeru... rarely do things that are easily to do to solve problem, but passively deal with them when they run to his face. So if he completely snapped at Kouichi for no reason besides him being darkness-associated, that’d be really out of character.

And beside, Takeru is a quite social and generally nice individual, who treat other kindly! I don't really get how others can misread his personality in another way. Let's move to the next point.

Second, Takeru doesn't hate darkness, or have a black-and-white-morality. The thing is that Takeru himself says that he's not going to inherently hate anything darkness-related on sight (in 02 episode 34):

Takeru is pretty clear about what exactly he hates earlier in that episode:

Trying to change the world with that power...Trying to conquer the world...It's unforgivable!

Basically, he hates people who try to toy with darkness to play God, “create sad lives” like BlackWarGreymon with it, and do things that resemble Devimon in Adventure (like “dabbling” in the powers of darkness much like the Kaiser would later).

But in regards to darkness itself, you can find a proof three episodes later that Takeru is pretty understanding of the topic (02 episode 37):

...so he’d probably treat the twins with a lot of respect.

So while Takeru would probably hate Duskmon if he didn’t know more about what was going on behind him, that's obvious, if he actually learns about Kouichi’s situation and background, not only would he be very likely to sympathize with Kouichi and advocate on his behalf, he’d also probably fly into a murderous rage at Cherubimon for exploiting the powers of darkness to make Kouichi suffer! And because that kind of topic really pisses him off, he might even get more pissed off than Kouichi himself is about it.

Actually, these kinds of tropes just throw all character development of Takeru and turn him into a flat character. Takeru also would become a writer, and you can't think that he just skipped all nice characters with darkness-themes.

And mentioned that, Ken and Kouichi are usually being simplified to be just as the same as each other. Although they have many similar features, like "thoughtful, perceptive, very in touch with feelings, VERY assertive, resilient, strong in heart, and kind out of choice even when doesn’t have to be", but they are different individuals. In a language level, Kouichi uses the "ore" assertive pronoun while Ken uses the "boku" more gentle one.

In conclusion! Takeru would be the one to clarify with the Frontier gangs to make sure that Kouichi isn't dabbling in the powers of darkness for the others' sake. And then he'd become the most vicious protector of the twins. And the rest of the Adventurers would just follow his lead since Takeru and Hikari with their sensitivity to the balance of the world.

S/O and Furina were sitting quietly, nearing the end of the film's duration.

The man's head was resting on the meka's lap as he was nearing the end of his life, though the mood was very bittersweet.

With a beautiful piano tune playing in the background, the Meka looked up to the sky, finally getting a revelation for the human it fell in love with.

[Mekaigis] "Not everything needs to be for some greater purpose. Just caring for someone can be enough. That's all we need to give our lives meaning. As for me, I've found my path. And that's to protect you with my life..."

S/O's heart strings tugged at the touching dialogue. Blinking away a few tears, S/O turned to Furina.

(S/O) Furina's been really quiet. I wonder if she's not as affected as-

S/O's thoughts were interrupted the moment they actually glanced at their girlfriend.

Furina reached for her box of tissues, which was already halfway gone, and blew violently into it.

She proceeded to wipe away her tears with her hands while her lips trembled, eyes locked onto the screen the entire time.

(S/O) ...Okay yeah, she's doing as good as I thought she would.

S/O moved in closer to hold her hand and at least give her some comfort for this admittedly tear-inducing scene.

Only for their hand to be almost hurt from her grip strength as she held on with all of her passion, Furina's attention daring not to even turn away.

S/O almost yelped out in pain, but kept strong for the sake of their girlfriend's immersion.

And with the man finally closing his eyes, the movie finally came to a close, with the music's lyrics riding the scene out.

Furina stood up from her chair, pointing to the screen with tears still fresh in her eyes.

S/O couldn't contain their soft laughter, getting up and attempting to calm her down by gently wiping her tears away.

(S/O) "I agree, but it's a rather beautiful ending to such a tragic story. But what did you think of it?"

Furina pouted at their laughter, crossing her arms and huffing.

(Furina) "I'd rather have watched a horror movie, something like that is way too sad!"

(S/O) "I thought you said you wouldn't cry-"

(Furina) "I-I was simply crying at their performances! They did an amazing job acting out a horrid script, as a performer I couldn't just ignore their handiwork!"

S/O playfully rolled their eyes as they sat Furina back down, quickly joining her on the couch.

(S/O) "Is that right? Anyways, there's a followup sequel where it follows Mekaigis after the events of this movie called the Answ-"

I'm not a fan on how the game handled the relationship between Ochette and the human travelers. First because she's an adult who provides for her village and the very soon to be leader of her people and second none of her people treat her like a child but as a respected adult but when it comes to her interactions with the human travelers she is infantilized and takes the role of a "savage". It reeks of colonial stereotypes of indigenous people, a "savage" that has to be "civilized" by "civilized" people.

In the banter "Agnea the Chef", it is revealed that Ochette doesn't know anything about cooking, despite her befriend art showing her doing that and the gameplay mechanics tied to her class. In that banter she eats a fish raw and is awestruck when Agnea shows her that meat can be cooked instead of being eaten raw.

Her relationship with Castti comes off as a bit weird, first because both are adults in their 20s and second because the way it's written Castti comes off as someone who is ignorant and forcing her ways instead of being a maternal figure. In one of the banters Castti forces Ochette to eat vegetables "for her own good" but if we take a look at context clues the game heavily implies Beastlings are carnivores. The Mercantile Manuscript Beastling foodways section only mentions meat and never vegetables nor fruit, the Beastlings of Beasting Village trade vegetables for meat with the human villagers, and third Ochette has a disdain for vegetables. All these imply they're carnivores and Castti not respecting Ochette as an adult and forcing her to eat them and ignoring her culture comes off as an act of bigotry instead of a motherly action. In the banter about her ears Ochette thinks that Castti is taking an interest in Beastling biology but the thought bubble at the end reveals that she isn't which makes the banter about vegetables that much worse. There's also the optics of a white woman with blue eyes and blond hair being the maternal figure to the only adult, brown, indigenous coded party member. It reeks of noble savage nonsense.

The banter about language between Ochette and Temenos paints Temenos as a huge bigot who doesn't think the Beastlings are capable of talking "properly" and their lack of a language. This is contradicted by the existence of "Old Beastling" as well as the game implying the Beastlings have their own contemporary language with Ochette's name spelled in a unique alphabet in the select screen, only Hikari and Ochette have a different alphabet used, which is shown in the art book. It's only made worse because Ochette agrees with Temenos. Again, bad optics when you have a priest saying the indigenous coded people need to be educated on how to "properly" talk.

These are the examples that stood out but I'm sure there's more to point out. Point is that Beastling writing in general is a hot mess in this game chalk full of racist stereotypes about indigenous people right down to the "Tonto speech". Being small animal people doesn't give them a pass.

I am working on a larger KIU localization post right now, but it's been, what, over a week or two since the last one? How absurd. I'll need a touch more time on it, so while we're waiting, let's talk about something small and fun.

More like a collection of small things. Too small to really warrant their own post, so I'm lumping them all together and declaring them as being of a vaguely similar category. We'll take a look at instances in which "names" are discussed differently. Bear with me because I'm thinking of this idea in a super broad sense.

The first "name" we'll look at is the game's title. So Kid Icarus is called something else in Japan, but I think a decent chunk of people already know this. The franchise is called 光神話パルテナの鏡 (Hikari Shinwa Parutena no Kagami) or "Myth of Light: Palutena's Mirror." Like the English title, the Japanese title doesn't really have much to do with the game itself, but at least the name of a major character is referenced. The English title on the other hand... I want to know the story of what happened there because it sure is... random. But that's a discussion for another day I suppose. Anyway, Kid Icarus Uprising's Japanese title just tacks a 新 (shin) or "New" character onto the title, which is apparently a decently normal thing you can do in Japanese. The pervasiveness of titles like New Super Mario Bros, New Pokémon Snap, and the New Nintendo 3DS suddenly makes sense...

Since both titles have some sense of being unrelated to the actual game itself, both versions' opening to the how to play videos have their own spin on commenting on the titles:

I wonder how many people actually watched any of these videos. Oh, I'll translate:

Palutena: Pit, I shall guide you on how to fight.

Pit: Understood, Lady Palutena! But there's something I've been wanting to ask about for a long time.

Palutena: What's that?

Pit: The "mirror" in "New Myth of Light: Palutena's Mirror." What kind of thing is it?

Palutena: Who knows?

Pit: Is it a secret?

Palutena: I'm going to say "no comment."

All I ask is that the title makes sense... Change the English title at least. Lots of franchises do it all the time. I won't be upset. Now that I'm openly cringe, a lot of people irl know me as "the girl who really likes Kid Icarus" and the average person doesn't really have a strong idea as to what that is, so they ask me what the title means, and it sucks that I have to say "yeah, it doesn't have anything to do with anything." I'm getting sidetracked.

The next "name" I want to look at is an actual name this time... Pit himself. Very odd and unfortunate name if you're an English-speaker. The game actually jokes about it:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Pit isn't named after a hole. He's actually named after and inspired by Cupid. Well, the aesthetic anyway. He's got wings, he uses a bow, he collects hearts... oh, right, the name. It's easier to see if I write it out in Japanese. "Cupid" would be written out as キューピッド (Kyuupiddo) and Pit is written out as ピット (Pitto). See anything in common? Well, if you don't believe me, they outright call attention to it in the Japanese version:

I guess I should mention that Cragalanche is called ロッカ (Rokka) or "Rocker" in the Japanese version.

Pit: He's "Rocker" because he's a rock... that's pretty cliché, huh?

Viridi: You being called Pit because you're Cupid is also plenty cliché!

In the Japanese version, Viridi talks like an old man (not making this up) and thus consistently uses some old-fashioned language. In this scenario, she uses the older pronunciation for "Cupid," キューピット, which uses a t sound instead of a d sound, so the comparison is a lot more evident in that regard. If you really think about it, the t sound is just an unvoiced d sound.

The last "name" we'll look at is Thanatos, because if you're like me, you were probably wondering how that conversation went in the Japanese version. If you remember, the game makes a big deal about how they corrected Thanatos' name from the original Kid Icarus:

Screenshots this time because the audio file encompasses a whole big conversation and ain't nobody got time for dat.

The Japanese language doesn't have a th sound so the closest it can get is a t or s sound. In the 1980s, localization wasn't yet an established industry and there was no real quality control for it. In the case of NES games, the localized versions were more often than not created by the original Japanese staff who probably didn't know any significant English, hence why so many NES titles are just littered with errors. Poor translations would sometimes extend to the manuals, so it's honestly a real wonder that the Kid Icarus manual is as legible as it is. But I suppose nothing can truly be perfect. The Japanese spelling for Thanatos is タナトス (Tanatosu), so whoever was creating the English version of the manual probably saw that タ (ta) and never made the connection that this character was named after the Greek god of death, thus making it a placeholder for what would be a th sound in how us English speakers pronounce it.

Well, since the Japanese version doesn't involve any name updates, the conversation is just centered around Thanatos just being plain forgettable. Sorry, buddy.

Idk if you have done sth like this but if you didn't , can you write somethings about how would Indra and Ivy react to his clan's future ? We can consider Madara , Izuna , Itachi etc. descendants of Raizen (or any other of his kids). He is under some kind of genjutsu let's say and he sees the future ? (ik he wouldn't easily be put under genjutsu when he has ms but let's pretend)

Let me propose something even more fun: Ivy and Indra, chaotic soulmates, sharing eternity in hell like it’s just another boring Sunday afternoon, roasting literally and metaphorically.

They stumble upon a “glimpse of the future” service down there —very casual, like a pop-up shop— and decide to take a peek at what their legacy turned into aksjdhasjhdkasd

Hell wasn’t as bad as Ivy expected.

Sure, the air was thick and smelled faintly of brimstone and regret, but they had a nice little corner to themselves: a crumbling stone bench, a view of a boiling river, and Indra beside her, grumbling about the heat like he wasn’t the one who personally turned half the world to ashes in his time.

-You could have gone to heaven, love. They laid flowers on the floor when you got there, big entrance.- Indra reminded her, picking idly at a blackened feather from the ash-storm blowing by. -Yet you chose this.-

Ivy shrugged, licking an ice-pop that somehow never melted despite the inferno around them.

-What? Thought you were going to get rid of me that easily? If my little demon gets dragged to hell, I'll follow. Plus, it's boring up there. I heard they don't even let you argue.

-That's my wife.- Indra approved.

He slung an arm lazily around her shoulders, his touch hot enough to brand, but familiar.

That’s when the demon salesman slithered by, pushing a cracked, smoking cart.

Ivy slapped her palm down instantly, rattling the cart. -Show us what we made.-

And just like that, a pool of molten glass unfurled before them, shimmering with images.

They leaned in together, both curious and absolutely ready to roast their bloodline.

First came Madara—tall, wild-haired, looking like he punched mountains for breakfast and seduced entire armies in the evening.

They watched him stand on a battlefield, giving an overdramatic speech about domination, his hair flapping like a gothic shampoo commercial.

Indra blinked.

-That’s Inari's great-grandkid?- he asked slowly.

Ivy choked on her ice-pop. -He’s you if you were more dramatic and even more emotionally constipated.-

Indra grunted, unamused.

Then Izuna appeared: mischievous grin, swords flashing, clothes half-tucked like he lost a bet with himself and won anyway.

Ivy pointed. -Inari always had that duality, remember? I often worried about it when they were teenagers, but you said it was fine... He was one person when close to Hikari, and then another when they were separated. Cruel, harsh, just like you, but nonsensical and erratic like me. Here we have both sides divided into two idiots.-

Indra couldn’t argue. Izuna was currently backflipping off a wall for absolutely no reason.

The view shifted: Shisui sprinting across rooftops, flashing a peace sign mid-chase while dodging kunai.

-Oh no.- Ivy murmured, covering her mouth. -That’s definitely Hikari's fault. Look at that grin. That’s ‘pranked a daimyo and got away with it’ energy.-

-At least he’s fast.- Indra muttered. -He'll need it to outrun his own stupidity.-

They fist-bumped without looking at each other.

Next: Obito. Wide smile, heart bigger than his common sense, tripping over a rock while saving a cat.

-Ame’s line,- Ivy said immediately, proud and wincing at once. -Only her side could produce someone this soft in a world this cruel.-

Indra watched Obito wipe dirt off his pants and beam at the rescued cat.

-He’s going to suffer.- Indra stated, grim.

-Yeah. But he’ll love every second of it.- Ivy said, tapping her chin.

Then: Itachi and Sasuke. Both from Raizen's bloodline.

Itachi, tiny and serious, already plotting ten steps ahead of everyone else like a child-sized mafia don.

Sasuke, throwing rocks at ducks because he didn’t know how to process affection yet.

Indra leaned back and covered his eyes. -Raizen's descendants are alarming.-

Ivy grinned. -I’m proud.-

-You’re insane.

-And you married me.

Indra didn’t argue. He just tucked her under his arm tighter.

As the visions faded, they sat there for a while, absorbing it all: Their descendants, conquering, destroying, crying, laughing, being beautiful and broken and alive in ways they could have never predicted.

-So... we did good?- Ivy asked finally.

Indra thought about it.

Madara yelling at the sky. Izuna falling off a cliff with a smile. Shisui prank-sprinting. Obito tripping over cats. Itachi plotting world domination from age three. Sasuke throwing rocks.

-We did something.- Indra decided.

Ivy laughed so hard she almost dropped her immortal ice-pop.

The salesman cart rattled past again, now offering "memory erasure for those deeply ashamed."

Ivy waved it off without a second thought.

-Nope. I’m keeping this trauma forever.

Indra nodded in agreement, hand finding hers—hot, rough, steady—and holding tight.

If this was hell, then it wasn’t half bad.

what the biggest appeal about Isao x Kafka for you?

for me personally the biggest initial draw for me was the comedic potential of these two being accidental coparenting kikoru together

but then thing that made me get actually invested in the pairing as an actual ship, was after i read the one post on this site about the parallels Hikari and Kafka share!!

like ooughh kafka could remind Isao of his late wife…which turned into me waking up at 3am thinking KAFKA COULD TOTALLY BE HIS TYPE LIKE ACTUALLY

and from there my mind just continued to spiral thinking about the scenarios

If you send me that post about Hikari and Kafka parallels I will love that! But yeah I can see how they are kinda similar.

And same XD It started for me with thinking how hilarious it be for Kikoru (and Reno getting dragged into it as well) stalking her dad on a date with Kafka XD Then actually I've started writing a fic (it's very rough and bleh don't look) of Kafka and Isao starting to date earlier when Kikoru is in middle school-ish. I think it has some interesting consequences for all characters if it's pre-Kaijufication of Kafka. Like I think trying to keep things from Isao would get Kafka in DEEEP Trouble esp if Kikoru was in on it.

There's just something in it for me for a seemingly stoic character like Isao just being confronted with the sunshine of a man and finding his feelings again. Also Kikoru getting a second parent and not a butler.

The way I think they coul meet is for when Defence Force would first consider setting up the practical exam with the 'clean up' exercise and Isao going to Monster Sweepers to asses how actually useful it could be in examination process. I know it was the process for two years before Reno and Kafka tried for DF but I imagine all potential methods of testing potential recruits would need more time to be set up and such.

Keito sat alone outside of hikari's hospital room,which was beside Miko's room.Keito himself was covered in more bandages than usual,he wasnt as hurt as the rest of the nakama members.

'excuse me...you should get a room yourself... you were hurt bad." a nurse walked up to him. she had said in a worried tone."you were with the victims not long ago right?"

"...yeah. I was with them. but im fine. seriously,no need to set me a room."

keito was silent again as he watched the nurse left. he had many thoughts in his mind. how he was afraid,hikari....his little brother might die...he only waited for tiger to come.

he pulled his phone out of his pocket,that was luckily not broken in the scene. keito only opened the screen and searched for tigers phone number,which was labeled "twisting tiger boo👽",he tapped on it and called.

"... hello,kei?"

"are you alright,tiger?....i...i need you to come to the hospital-"keito shifted nervously on his own seat as he spoke into the phone

"i..i know. im coming over right now. officers came to escort me..."

"oh. they sent officers?... alright then. I'll be waiting..."keito said in surprise, before his expression shifted back to his sad self.

"...yeah."

"take care tiger, I'll be here when you arrive." keito only replied before getting met with a monotone.

"*beeep*...."

keito sighed as he silently looked down,he felt like hes at fault. he sat impatiently while he stared at his own bandages,blood stained on it not long after bandage.

"...i have to change the bandages again soon."he mumbles to himself as he watched the Bandages.

"i hope tiger arrives soon. everything fucking hurts. what the hell did it went wrong?"keito mumbles to himself...

he stared at his own necklace that had the shape of a cross...

"captain."Kendo said as he approached keito, looking down at the black haired teen.

"oh,hey Kendo-niisan!"Keito bowed to him,he had the Captain armband on his left arm as he was in the middle of early training,before he was surprised with a necklace shaped as a cross

"this is for you,i was told you are a Christian...and i wanted to gift you this."Kendo said softly before putting the necklace on keito's neck.

"woah...this cross necklace is so cool, Kendo-niisan!"the teenager said happily"thank you so much!!"

"im glad that you liked it,it was kinda expensive if i remember. but its for you,so its okay."Kendo said as he ruffled the teens hair.

The nurse came by and gotten him some snacks and drinks to help with the bodily fluids as she shook him a bit.

which Keito thanked her and accepted the snacks and drinks,only then he stared at the tv hanging on the wall with his right eye patched in bandages. Silently watching the news while snacking, forcing himself to eat.

BREAKING NEWS - NAKAMA FC MASSACRE: MULTIPLE PLAYERS DEAD, COACH ARRESTED,SUPA STRIKAS MEMBER INVOLVED

The screen flashed to a recorded video, the amateur footage blurry and shaky for a brief moment before focusing in on Tiger. He was flanked by two police officers, his head lowered to the floor, following their lead as he was guided inside. He refused to acknowledge any questions thrown his way by the public surrounding him, his face obscured from view by the hoodie he had on, the hood pulled high up and over his head. The tip of his nose and some escaping red hair were the only confirmation that anyone truly needed, however. That was most definitely Tiger.

The screen flashed to the second video,the footage also blurry and shaky,this time unable to focus because of the person running carrying someone thats possibly kendo,the person seem to have white hair with red bits,Which definitely is Keito. Keito seemes to also leave a blood trail behind."

“-sources say that Ura Giri, the alleged suspect of this brutal attack, was apprehended by police when members of the public alerted them to the scene after hearing screaming.yelling and sounds metal clashing together coming from within the building. It’s unknown currently what the reasoning behind the attack was. Ura Giri is being held without bond until further notice as evidence is collected-"

"Tiger…” Joe sounded physically pained, “Shit.”

"What about keito?!he was directly involved!He was attacked as well-"shakes said in panic as he saw the blood trail in the footage.

“Should I- should I call him or them?either of them?” Shakes’ voice wavered, his lip quivering as he reached for his phone. His fingers trembled minutely over the screen. “I should call either of them...right?”

No one answered him at first. Joe had his head buried deep in his hands- Rasta was still staring at the screen, unblinking. The room grew deadly silent, even as the reporter droned on.

Shakes swallowed, hard. “I...uh...guys-?”

"No,” Bo’s voice cut through the silence gently, his tone soft. “I wouldn’t.”

Shakes turned to peer up at the man,"what..what about either of them?like maybe keito? we have to do something about it,we can't just-"

Bo shook his head, “Tiger… He’s just got there, Shakes. He’s got enough to deal with right now.” His voice was steady, even if Bo himself looked ready to break, his jaw clenched tightly, “And Keito was injured,he probably might be in the ER or unconscious in hospital. I know you want to help, but give them a bit time and just… Just wait. Please.”

Since I get to pick, I'm gonna take this as an excuse to talk more about Sam hehehehe

CHERRY - Why did you create them?

Sam came to be because I needed someone to take the fall in the snippet I was writing. She literally started as a random NPC who wa supposed to fill in the gaps and I wasn't planning to do more with her afterwards but apparently she's very likable? So, I established her some more and since she's my beta's favourite, they constantly enable me to built her up and dig deeper lmaooo.

RUBY - What do they consider most precious/valuable?

Time. Sam isn't on Chief's level of busy but she's still working a lot, so she hoards all the free time she can get. It always feels like she's running from one task to another with no break in between. Which means that time to take a breather, time to herself, time to just get some goddamn sleep is as precious as gold to her.

LIPSTICK - What is their love language?

Giving: Acts of service. Sam likes taking care of her loved ones, so she will do the dishes that are piled in your sink, get you your favourite drink from the local coffeeshop and take care of that paperwork that's been overdue for two days already. And while she might have an anxious disposition, she does have the Mom-friend override so she can help out even if it requires awkward social interactions 💪

Receiving: Physical touch. Sam just wants a hug okay. She likes cuddling and hand holding and lying her head in someones lap so that they can run their fingers through her hair. The problem is that she doesn't trust easily and being in the Varia has her constantly on edge so she doesn't indulge into this often. At least she has Hikari who's always up for glomping her 😌
