between shadow and sonic, who do u find easier to write?

definitely sonic! his voice just comes very naturally to me idk maybe (definitely) it's the adhd. shadow requires a lot more thought and effort to keep in character

🍓 What’s a fic you’ve written you feel is underrated?

when i first published woodsmoke i was kind of sad that it didn't have the traction of syti... but it's still way more popular than most of my older fics so idk if i can really call it underrated.

smut - angst - fluff - crack

a couple of years ago smut might have been at the end but ever since i embraced my freakiness & got some practice in i've started to really enjoy it. i feel like the... emotional stuff i write tends to be too muted (in a "my characters are all repressed af" kind of way) to really count as angst but i do enjoy putting characters in Situations so i think that counts. fluff is next but ONLY platonic fluff. romantic fluff goes all the way at the back that shit is hard. crack goes at the end mostly bc i've never tried to write any...

🫐 What’s your favorite underrated thing in your fandom? (A ship that only you seem to write for, a character there’s almost no fics about, a trope that criminally hasn’t been written yet, etc.)

i was really surprised that i'm the first person to have used the danger kink tag for a sonadow fic. i'm also a fan of metonic (horror girlie robot fucker who likes weird sexual dynamics ships metonic? somebody call the press) & there's a criminal lack of fics for them

the hardest thing about this is finding a character i don't like at least a little bit... well ok so being a Woman in Fridge isn't maria's fault and from what little we get to see of her personality she seems like she could be an interesting character on her own. plus i enjoyed her lines in generations

put the playlist i listen to most on shuffle and out came little bastards by palaye royale & if that's not a shadow song i don't know what is

well ok the obvious one is i headcanon sonic as having adhd but i'm far from unique in that so have another freebie: out of team sss i think shadow is the only one who can't fall asleep just anywhere. sonic who doesn't have a home and silver who grew up in an apocalyptic future can sleep in the wildest places and positions but shadow at the very least needs something that vaguely resembles a bed

vitriolic best buds is a favorite. i ❤️ dunking as a love language. bonus points if a "hey only i can be mean to them" situation occurs. bonus bonus points if the character who says that doesn't realize why they're pissed (bc i also ❤️ characters that are repressed)

i have a soft spot for urban fantasy aus. idk if beef is the right word but i tend to find high school aus boring and uninteresting

i have a torrid affair with my beloved em-dash. during editing i tend to notice that i've used the same phrases over and over so i try to edit those out, but i'm sure there's still things i don't notice
