Random sweet thought: Hobie would take every opportunity to give you flowers, whether it's a single dandelion he saw on the side of the road as he walks home to you or a long stemmed sun flower he got from a grateful civilian. Sometimes it's full bouquets when he feels extra that day (probably from his own garden) but then you realize you have free will and this time, you give him flowers. Some mismatched wild flowers and his favourites all bundled up together in a little red bow! The way his face would light up and eyes brimming with tears would make it all worth it so now you always take the opportunity to give him flowers and sometimes as fate would have it he hands you your own! The houseboat would smell so sweet and cozy with all of them! 🥰 You guys are going to run out of vases! 😆

Looking back on my Demon! Hobie stuff, there's one thing he does that I notice I wrote quite a lot. He always guides your hand to rest on his chest. Since I write this a lot, I'm gonna make a hc for why he does this, lol🫣🤭

You know how people say that a devil's smile is not to be trusted or whatnot? Well, since he's super attractive and masks his emotions quite well with an easygoing smile, R is often oblivious to the practical hearts in this mf eyes. So, he always lets R feel his heart, knowing that's the one thing he can't mask nor bluff about. The one thing that's genuine proof. The heart never lies, right?🤭💕💕

Thinking about R thrifting with Hobie like can you imagine the chaotic and how fun that will be? He'd be laughing at the crappy tshirts with the weird sentences printed on it and would always take the time to find good pieces for you too. And maybe he likes making the thrifted clothes his own too by sewing it to fit better, adding charms and would even combine two shirts or jeans in one like I know this man can sew and have that ✨ eye for fashion ✨

Gonna do my nails today and I can't help but think of Hobie insisting to do it for you like he's so careful while he paints your nails in the colour you had him choose for you and his warm hands are holding onto your fingers so delicately while you ogle the sheer concentration on his face. Then when it's done and drying he refuses to let you touch anything as to not ruin his handiwork! You want to get dressed for bed? Nah he's helping you put on your clothes for you. Gonna brush your teeth? Bro is already putting toothpaste on your toothbrush. Once he tucks you in bed while your hands are above your head and fingers spread out that's when you see the bottle of nail polish and it says 'quick dry' you turn to him and he has that signature smirk and you know he knew about it!

Actually tragically dramatic ghost Hobie?

It's the current day and age, he died back at the height of the punk music/scene. He gets....lonely. To be fair when your only community now is the plants and that one black cat that occasionally comes sniffing around you start depressing a bit.

But you and a group of your friends decided to go into that old ruined building, the place is haunted so why wouldn't you. Maybe you're the not the most thrill seeking person but the experience of being with your friends and fucking around just a tiny bit sounds fun! Right?

To Hobie it sure is, he does all the classics, making his form appear and pretending his head is detached. Snickering to himself once he scares off a few of your friends as you split up in groups. The one accompanying you is long gone, having been scared off just from the sound of an opening door.

You think you hear footsteps, maybe they came back. So when you turn to face them, your flashlight directly pointing at the figure that just...oddly floats there you stay quiet in fear. Dropping the flashlight on the ground, somehow he's just as surprised.

Why did you look so...there was something in you he liked, the way you reacted, spoke, the soft hum of your breathing, your heart and how he could hear it beat faster from the adrenaline.

You make up plenty of excuses to yourself, sincerely trying to find an explanation as to why his floating body must be an illusion. You try to reach back for your torch, the light source flickering and dying on you right as you grab it back up.

Looking back up, he's closer now. He looks...he doesn't look like what you would've expected from a ghost. No hanging head or axes...instead he just looks about your age. His form emitting a soft glow as he speaks softly, this time actually scared himself of sending you off running.

"...sorry for the fright"

"...I can see you...?"

He smiles a bit at that, his gaze softening as he replies back quietly in a small amused whisper:

"I can see you too"

Awwwwww why did this make me tear up a bit? He's just lonely 😭😭 r better come visit him like imagine all the fun they could have in that big ol place when it's just them! R could even buy the place and turn it into some sort of attraction or even fix it up and make it into a bed and breakfast so that they're both not lonely anymore

Sun hobie x moon r!!!

Hobies energetic always changing. Especially when hes setting the sun. So energetic as he changes colors. But he barely gets to see the moon. Only one in a long while’s with eclipses does he see them. Moon r whose cold keeps their distance. Scared to be engulfed into the flames. Yet the flmaes he has brings them comfort. Just at a distance, moon r who admires them, the energy, the light hobie gives to them for the moon.

Moon r whose destructive in cold ways. Staying away fron many things. Fearing. Silent. Very silent. Yet moon r whose destructive cant help but feel butterflies thinking about their sun counterpart. Moon r who wishes they were like him. Could be anything enough for him.

Sun hobie who wants to see more of r but doesnt know why they act like that. Sun hobie who blanes hinself and who slowly loses all the energy sometimes. The colors he changes into becomes duller. R notices and does little things to cheer him up. Not to his face but magic and gift wise. Hobie whose clueless to whose giving it to them but appreciates.

Two star crossed lovers doomed by their love for each other. But make it deities. And maybe, just maybe one gets ckoser to a deity of planets or regular stars (because the sun is a star but yknow)

You can get the jist and idea of it? Two star crossed lovers who love each other and dont realize it and their own thoughts and not being brave enough scare then away from each other. Push them into someone elses arms perhaps. But those arms arent the warm embraced they always pictured from each other.

Maybe in the end theyll run from everything else just to meet again, and in then. They will embrace each other and their love. Yet also embrace the end of the universe. Maybe in another universe they wouldve had more centuries, decades, and more to have run into each other. Or maybe in this one. Maybe in another universe they would have been brave enough. But at least in this one they fell into each other and confessed before it was to late. They got the warm embrace of each other and to know they truly did love each other.

Unlike in other universes…. (Sorry i did NOT proof read this. BUTTTTT i hope you love it)

Got a sudden thought of a medieval AU where Hobie and R are knights and plot twist: not one of them is royalty.

They were just given that life and started rolling with it. In truth they're not as loyal to the royal house as much as they are to eachother. During excursions with the crown, they look at each other first and the royal second. They have each other's backs, and would jump in front of a sword for the other. Protecting the crown? Nah, protecting your fellow knight is where they're at. Like imagine them helping put on the armour together, piece by piece their hands have touched each metal and whispers words of protection so they could come back home to each other and gently take the same armour off with each other's help. They vowed their swords to the crown but their shields are promised to each other, on and off the battlefield.

The little mermaid but Hobie is Ursula and actually wants you and wants to take you away from the prince, because why would you change yourself for a man who can't appreciate what he has in front of him?

Hobie would coax you into his cave, standing proud and tall. Demanding your voice, reminding you of the price. He only hopes to frighten you but when you agree his heart breaks and shatters in pieces. So he aims to not follow through with the traditional ending to the tale.

Awww like imagine you come across a crow with a broken wing and you decide to nurse it back to health and once the crow can fly again you've bonded with him already so it keeps coming back to your place every so often with shiny trinkets and occasionally bills lol and then when Hobie comes back to your place only to find that you're in trouble (maybe a robbery gone wrong or r fainted???) that's when he transforms into his human form and saves you!!
