Late 06/24/2025 THWWICH Progress Update:

TLDR: Little more than 1.5K written, at about 13.5K so far drafted. Ramblings below the cut about some changes to future chapters I’m considering.

Passed tf out and forgot to post one of these lmao. I did write yesterday, promise! 🤣

A lot of yesterday was connecting pieces I already had written of the second section. I did decide to change it around one more time by switching some sections and slapping Kokichi’s POV on one I’d already written in Shuichi’s POV. It’ll be a little frustrating to rewrite, but I decided it would flow better and be more interesting to see Kokichi’s view of things as opposed to Shuichi’s.

This is purely for me to have record of this but I’m bouncing around the idea of adding another chapter between 12 and 13. My rationale is there’s something incredibly important learned in chapter 12 and my plan was to have it told via a dialogue exchange between two characters. But that doesn’t seem all that impactful? So I’m thinking about breaking up the flow a little bit and letting readers see the events that are being talked about.

We’ll have to see. It would be difficult to write but I feel like I’d be cheating myself and others if I kept this important event as something just talked about rather than actually written down.

Honestly, now that I’m considering this, maybe I should do that with another part too… There’s so much that happened before the events of this story lol that having a couple definitive “this is what happened” chapters might give a lot of closure.
