1. why did you choose your url

It’s a reference to one of my favourite games, Dragon Age Origins. I really wanted a url that referenced the game and this was one of the only ones that were available where I didn’t have to use dashes or super weird spellings

2. side blogs?

I use to run an anime side blog as well as an animal crossing side blog, but those are both mostly abandoned. Now I just have an anonymous vent blog where I ramble and rant about some of the “serious” parts of my life that I want to vent but not talk about, if that makes sense?

3. how long have you been on tumblr?

Officially, since sometime in 2009 or so. Somewhere on here there’s a childhood blog with pictures about my stuffed animals and their stories. I don’t exactly remember how I found this site back then, but I did and I posted about stuffed animals until I got bored. Years later in 2012 or so I found this site again, got hit with déjà vu and managed to actually log in to my old account before I got super embarrassed and made this account

4. do you have a queue tag?

I use to use ‘get ready to greet another be-queue-tiful day!’ but honestly I never remember to fill my queue

5. why did you start your blog in the first place?

Back in the day, for stuffed animals because I was like 8. Then this blog was started mostly for engaging in fandom related stuff, which originally was most ATLA and Harry Potter

6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?

She’s a dragon age inquisition online character that I think is really cool. She also fits my dragon age related url, so I love that.

7. why did you choose your header?

It was cool looking and also had colours I wanted included in my blog.

Probably one of my Stardew valley posts? I’m not too sure though

Around 15+ but a lot of them are inactive now

I don’t like the fact that they try to guilt you into doing things. A lot of the time I would have reblogged the post anyways, but I usually just ignore “you need to reblog this” posts unless it’s actually got important or interesting info

okay  so  first  thing’s  first,  my  hunny  is  taken  out  of  the  soft  reboot  of  the  x - men  franchise  aka  first  class  and  onward.  little  is  known  about  mystique's  origins  overall  due  to  the  fact  that  she  can  eliminate  the  outward  signs  of  aging  with  her  shape - changing  power  &  her  special  mutant  cells  literally  prolong  her  aging  process  anyway,  so  it's  not  known  exactly  how  old  she  is  ( only  that  she’s  at  least  100+ ... homegirl’s  been  around  the  block  a  few  times ).  she  apparently  learned  to  use  her  shape - changing  power  at  a  very  early  age  bc  there’s  no  evidence  known  to  the  public / government  that  raven  darkholme  ever  looked  like  anything  other  than  a  normal  heap  of  trash  human  being.

life  changed  for  the  better / worse  when  she  met  a  wee  boy  named  charles  xavier  after  being  caught  posing  as  one  of  his  family’s  nannies  &  stealing  food  from  the  kitchen.  poor  bb  had  it  rough  growing  up.  having  to  hide  her  mutant  ability  from  the  ignorance  of  humans  &  being  self - critical  of  her  natural  appearance  by  the  general  society  standards  caused  her  to  only  publicize  her  alternate / human - esque  appearance  for  the  most  part  out  of  her  own  insecurities.  she  looked  for  acceptance  &  love  in  all  the  wrong  places  too  many  times  to  count,  and  as  a  result  has  been  hurt  over  and  over  again.  took  a  long  time  for  her  to  love  herself  but  when  she  finally  did,  all  her  effort  was  put  forth  in  helping  other  mutants  learn  to  love  &  accept  themselves.

queue  a  whirlwind  of  dramatics ;  love  triangles,  mutants  vs  humans,  mutants  vs  mutants,  juggling  morals / trying  to  decipher  right  from  wrong,  pretending  not  to  care,  caring  too  much,  stealing  a  trillion  identities,  kicking  ass  &  being  sassy  af,  being  reckless  &  getting  her  ass  kicked  ( but  still  serving  that  au  naturel  blue - tiful  look ),  actual  death.  mystique  has  been  through  it.  she  doesn’t  remember  being  resurrected,  but  suspects  someone  found  someway  to  bring  her  back.  and  for  that,  she’s  grateful.  so  she’s  back  to  living  her  best  life  as  a  badass  mutant,  albeit  still  a  little  sus  of  being  alive / wary  of  humans,  &  is  currently  looking  to  reunite  with  her  squad / the  x - men.
