was rewatching fabian’s baron moment on account of it being the most delicious piece of pvp in my recent memory and ally beardsley’s growth as a player just shone through so brightly and with such clarity. after dusting off their shock they immediately asked about the nemesis ward, had enough knowledge about fellow pcs stocked to remember adaine’s ac with such like frustrated confidence and certainty, suggested to siobhan to dimension door out of adaine’s room, like. they came into this making a character with 4 dex. and now the dice deity offered to roll a check to sense if adaine was in danger. making decisions, asking questions, getting invested in the story, trying so hard with the tools they have to save characters from danger; ally beardsley is an incredible d&d player.

The Atlassian CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes, James Vowles and Jenson Button were together today on a Conference for Atlassian Team’ 25 Event, and the CEO took the time to tell an anecdote about how impressed he was by Carlos attitude on Australia:

Do you think it is possible for the other trolls to gaslight Eridan into do the murder for the right cause? E.g. not like the murderstuck in the canon but guiding his murderous direction to align with the purpose, using him as a disposable glass cannon and a cannon fodder to take down enemies? but not easily disposable due to seadweller's physical strength and his fighting skills. Not the optimal way to handle him but given that he needs some presence of others how will this scenario go?

rempe and the constant defending of him piss me off so bad. that guy should not be in the nhl and probably not be playing hockey period with the level of actual danger he presents for such a tiny sample size. like it is fucking absurd how every time i have to hear his name it's bc he basically mauled a guy or injured him and you have half of rangers fans acting like he's just a baby deer who doesn't know what he's doing and he WANTS to be a hockey player in the nhl based on his merit and not just his physicality 🥺👉👈. like news flash, he's not that and he's actively dangerous. holy shit

Thinkin bout how every Eliot episode is him having the opportunity to do something other than be a weapon and a tool (for the army or some govt or Nate) and he always finds that he really likes it and is good at it, even to the point of ditching the job temporarily to have fun for himself. But ultimately at the end of the day he always goes back to the team and to being a weapon its just so spicy and tragic but at the same time it's because they're his family and his home

i always feared becoming a toxically mean sports person about rivalries and injuries and fannish expression i never even thought about the kind of person id be in the face of under-researched trade proposals + sloppy player evaluations. is anyone watching the games or do we just clock in at the fantasy hockey factory and go buck wild without regard for the game that is being played in front of our eyes

this chapter made me so emo about Keiichi. I still don't really get what his deal is but for him to start out as a bully and a petty rival, and then this??

boy loves his hometown so much that he literally has no greater ambition than to live and die in it. meanwhile his brother has his sights on the NHL; Rou is aiming for the Olympics. is it heartwarming that Keiichi treasures his home so much that he can't see anything beyond it, or sad that he has hundreds of photos of the same factory smokestack that he's already planning to die staring at??

I don't know. but Noda could have easily made Keiichi the hotshot rival who thinks he deserves the best in the world, but instead he made Keiichi a big fish dreaming only of his small pond.

I know some people are upset with the route they've gone for this season of SR, I'm personally fine with it, like they've said they did rush into the campaign and didn't get to establish world building much, and like Mace said during the break, the story is about the Stardust Rhapsody, which is the ship itself, characters come and go much like the ship and small crew they've taken inspiration from.

I think the only complaint I may have is having a character that doesn't speak common, it does make for funny situations where Derek gets to improvise his response, but having him not able to have significant conversations with anyone else? That's part of the heart of these campaigns, building the relationships between characters, so having him be essentially silent to everyone else is going to affect that :/

i just realized that rek is the strong teammate in the sticklers . like he has 15? 16? hearts atm, hes very rich in items always, and hes actually decent at pvp— he'd be even better if he locked in as well, he just chooses not to focus on pvp

A social media manager / PR person's job is to follow the team and spin the season's narrative to the fans, allowing that inside peek at behind the scenes that fans get so curious about? If nyc management is going to be this archaic about it, why not just hire a man and let him actually do his job -_- because you know.
