WHAT IS ISLAM
INTRODUCING ISLAM TO BEGINNERS, ESPECIALLY TO NON-MUSLIMS
Islam is the religion of the Muslims, a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) as the final Prophet of God Almighty (Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).
In Arabic, Islām means ‘SUBMISSION,' from 'aslama which means to ‘SUBMIT (to God Almighty),' The word ISLAM in Arabic also means PEACE.
HOW DOES ONE BECOME A MUSLIM
To become a Muslim, one simply declares the testimony of faith (in Arabic, it is called the shahada) with full conviction, in the presence of a witness.
We wish to clarify that the whole matter is very easy, plain and simple, no water dipping, no money exchanged, and no certificate. The testimony of faith in Arabic is:
اشهد ان لا إله إلا الله و اشهد ان محمد الرسول الله
Ash hadu an laa ilaaha illAllah
I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except God Almighty [Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala].
Wa ash hadu anna Muhammadar Rasul Allah,
and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.
FIVE (5) PILLARS OF ISLAM
The Shahada is the first pillar of Islam and that is what makes one a Muslim. The five (5) pillars of Islam consist of:
The testimony of faith (Shahada) Five daily prayers (Salat) Giving charity to the needy (Zakat) Fasting the month of Ramadan Performing the Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah) once in one’s lifetime, if able to do it.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
Faith is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Books (including the Torah and the Bible), His Messengers (from Adam to Jesus to Muhammad), the Last Day (Day of Judgement), and to believe in providence, its good and its perceived harm.
IHSAN
Excellence is to worship Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as if you see Him, or if you do not see Him, know that He surely sees you.

Ali 'Imran 3:85
Whoever seeks a way other than [Islam] complete devotion to God Almighty, it will not be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.
Al-Ma'idah 5:3
Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, and swine; what is slaughtered in the name of any other than Allah; what is killed by strangling, beating, a fall, or by being gored to death; what is partly eaten by a predator unless you slaughter it; and what is sacrificed on altars.
You are also forbidden to draw lots for decisions. This is all evil. Today the disbelievers have given up all hope of ˹undermining˺ your faith. So do not fear them; fear Me!
Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen Islam as your way. But whoever is compelled by extreme hunger—not intending to sin—then surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
At-Tawbah 9:33
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹true˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists.
Al-Fath 48:28
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹right˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others. And sufficient is Allah as a Witness.
As-Saff 61:9
He is the One Who has sent His Messenger with ˹true˺ guidance and the religion of truth, making it prevail over all others, even to the dismay of the polytheists.
Al-Anbya 21:77
And We made him [Noah] prevail over those who had rejected Our signs. They were truly an evil people, so We drowned them all.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 60-61
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
60. And (remember) when Musa asked for water for his people, We said: "Strike the stone with your stick.'' Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each (group of) people knew its own place for water. "Eat and drink of that which Allah has provided and do not act corruptly, making mischief on the earth.''
Twelve Springs gush forth
Allah tells;
And (remember) when Musa asked for water for his people, We said: "Strike the stone with your stick.'' Then gushed forth therefrom twelve springs. Each (group of) people knew its own place for water. "Eat and drink of that which Allah has provided, Allah said, "Remember My favor on you when I answered the supplication of your Prophet, Musa, when he asked Me to provide you with water. I made the water available for you, making it gush out through a stone.
Twelve springs burst out of that stone, a designated spring for each of your tribes. You eat from the manna and the quails and drink from the water that I provided for you, without any effort or hardship for you. So worship the One Who did this for you.
And do not act corruptly, making mischief on the earth, meaning, "Do not return the favor by committing acts of disobedience that cause favors to disappear.''
Ibn Abbas said that; the Children of Israel, "Had a square stone that Musa was commanded to strike with his staff and, as a result, twelve springs burst out of that stone, three on each side. Each tribe was, therefore, designated a certain spring, and they used to drink from their springs. They never had to travel from their area, they would find the same bounty in the same manner they had in the first area.''
This narration is part of the long Hadith that An-Nasa'i, Ibn Jarir and Ibn Abi Hatim recorded about the trials.
This story is similar to the story in Surah Al-A`raf although the latter was revealed in Makkah.
In Surah Al-A`raf, Allah used the third person when He mentioned the Children of Israel to the Prophet and narrated what He favored them with.
In this Surah Al-Baqarah, which was revealed in Al-Madinah, Allah directed His Speech at the Children of Israel.
Further, Allah said in Surah Al-A`raf, And there gushed forth out of it twelve springs. (7:160), describing what first occurred when the water begins to gush out.
In the Ayah in Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah described what happened later on, meaning when the water burst out in full force.

61. They said, "O Musa! We cannot endure one kind of food. So invoke your Lord for us to bring forth for us of what the earth grows, its herbs, its cucumber its Fum, its lentils and its onions.''
He said, "Would you exchange that which is better for that which is lower! Go you down to any town and you shall find what you want!''
And they were covered with humiliation and misery, That was because they used to disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidence) of Allah and killed the Prophets wrongfully.
That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress the bounds (in their disobedience to Allah, i.e. commit crimes and sins.
The Children of Israel preferred Foods inferior to Manna and Quails
Allah said, "And remember My favor on you when I sent down the manna and quails to you, a good, pure, beneficial, easily acquired food. And remember your ungratefulness for what We granted you. Remember how you asked Musa to exchange this type of food for an inferior type that consists of vegetation, and so forth.''
Al-Hasan Al-Basri said about the Children of Israel, "They were bored and impatient with the type of food they were provided. They also remembered the life they used to live, when their diet consisted of lentils, onions, garlic and herbs.''
Allah tells, They said, "O Musa ! We cannot endure one kind of food.
So invoke your Lord for us to bring forth for us of what the earth grows, its herbs, its cucumbers, its Fum, its lentils and its onions.
They said, (One kind of food) meaning, the manna and quails, because they ate the same food day after day.
The Ayah mentioned lentils, onions and herbs, which are all known types of foods.
As for the Fum, Ibn Mas`ud read it, Thum (garlic). Also, Ibn Abi Hatim narrated that Al-Hasan said about the Ayah, (Its Fum), "Ibn Abbas said that Fum means, garlic.''
He also said that; the expression, `Fumu-lanna' means, `bake for us', according to the languages of old.
Ibn Jarir commented, "If this is true, then `Fum' is one of the words whose pronunciations were altered, the letter `fa' was replaced by the letter `tha', since they are similar in sound.''
And
Allah knows best.
Others said that Fum is wheat, the kind used for bread.
Al-Bukhari said,
"Some of them said that Fum includes all grains or seeds that are eaten.''
Allah's statement, He said, "Would you exchange that which is better for that which is lower!''
criticized the Jews for asking for inferior foods, although they were living an easy life, eating tasty, beneficial and pure food.
Allah's statement, Go you down to any Misr, Ibn Abbas said, means, `any city'.
Ibn Jarir also reported that Abu Al-Aliyah and Ar-Rabi bin Anas said that; the Ayah refers to Misr, the Egypt of Fir`awn.
The truth is that the Ayah means any city, as Ibn Abbas and other scholars stated. Therefore, the meaning of Musa's statement to the Children of Israel becomes, "What you are asking for is easy, for it is available in abundance in any city that you might enter. So since what you asked for is available in all of the villages and cities, I will not ask Allah to provide us with it, especially when it is an inferior type of food. ''
This is why Musa said to them, Would you exchange that which is better for that which is lower Go you down to any town and you shall find what you want!
Since their request was the result of boredom and arrogance and since fulfilling it was unnecessary, their request was denied.
Allah knows best.
Covering the Jews in Humiliation and Misery
Allah said, And they were covered with humiliation and misery.
This Ayah indicates that the Children of Israel were plagued with humiliation, and that this will continue, meaning that it will never cease. They will continue to suffer humiliation at the hands of all who interact with them, along with the disgrace that they feel inwardly.
Al-Hasan commented, "Allah humiliated them, and they shall have no protector. Allah put them under the feet of the Muslims, who appeared at a time when the Majus (Zoroastrians) were taking the Jizyah (tax) from the Jews.''
Also, Abu Al-Aliyah, Ar-Rabi bin Anas and As-Suddi said that; `misery' used in the Ayah means, `poverty.'
Atiyah Al-Awfi said that; `misery' means, `paying the tilth (tax).'
In addition, Ad-Dahhak commented on Allah's statement, and they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah, "They deserved Allah's anger.''
Also, Ibn Jarir said that the Ayah means, "They went back with the wrath. Similarly, Allah said, (Verily, I intend to let you draw my sin on yourself as well as yours), (5:29) meaning, `You will end up carrying my, and your, mistakes instead of me'.
Thus, the meaning of the Ayah becomes, `They went back carrying Allah's anger; Allah's wrath descended on them; they deserved Allah's anger.'''
Allah's statement, That was because they used to disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, etc.) of Allah and killed the Prophets wrongfully.
means, "This is what We rewarded the Children of Israel with: humiliation and misery.''
Allah's anger that descended on the Children of Israel was a part of the humiliation they earned, because of their defiance of the truth, disbelief in Allah's Ayat and belittling the carriers of Allah's Law i.e. the Prophets and their following. The Children of Israel rejected the Messengers and even killed them. Surely, there is no form of disbelief worse than disbelieving in Allah's Ayat and murdering the Prophets of Allah.
Meaning of Kibr
Similarly, in a Hadith recorded in the Two Sahihs the Messenger of Allah said, Kibr, is refusing the truth and degrading (belittling) people.
Imam Ahmad recorded, Abdullah bin Mas`ud saying that the Messenger of Allah said, The people who will receive the most torment on the Day of Resurrection are: a man who was killed by a Prophet or who killed a Prophet, an unjust ruler and one who mutilates (the dead).
Allah's statement, That was because they disobeyed and used to transgress the bounds.
mentions another reason why the Children of Israel were punished in this manner, for they used to disobey and transgress the limits.
Disobedience is to do what is prohibited, while transgression entails overstepping the set limits of what is allowed and what is prohibited.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad(pbuh): Calling the Tribes to Islam, the Allegiances of Aqaba and Migration to Madinah
A Summary of the Period of Makkah
When the Messenger of Allah migrated to Madinah, the period of thirteen years in Makkah ended. It will be useful to summarize this period, which has an important place in the history of Islamic tabligh (conveying the message), and especially to examine the tabligh of the Prophet in this period.
When the Messenger of Allah was appointed as a prophet in AD 610 by God Almighty, the Arab community of that time was undergoing the darkest and wildest period of history along with the rest of the world. The duty the save the community he lived in and the humanity from the oppression and savagery was given to the Prophet.
God Almighty, who sent him as a prophet, taught him how to act while spreading, living and making others live Islam. The Prophet acted in accordance with those instructions.
It was certain that conveying the message, which aimed to introduce a new system, was not going to be so easy. It was going to be especially difficult in the community of Arabs, who were extremely fanatical and stubborn about their savage customs, living at that time.
The Messenger of Allah, who knew the properties, characteristics and thoughts of the community he was living in very well, did not start to convey the message as soon as he was appointed; he did not declare his prophethood and the religion of Islam openly. Some time had to pass and some favorable conditions had to occur for it.
The Messenger of Allah started to convey the message of Islam to the people who were closest to him first. He first informed Hazrat Khadija, his wife, about his cause. Hazrat Khadija confirmed his prophethood and became a Muslim. Then, he called Hazrat Ali, who was his relative and had been together with him since he was four or five, to Islam. He embraced Islam, too. After that, he conveyed the message of belief and Islam to some people that he trusted very much outside his family. The most important one among them was Hazrat Abu Bakr. Many people accepted Islam through Hazrat Abu Bakr.
The Prophet himself acted very cautiously during the period of secret call to Islam; he also urged the first Muslims to act very cautiously. When Abu Dharr al-Ghifari embraced Islam, the Prophet gave him this advice:
“O Abu Dharr! Now keep it a secret and return to your homeland! Come and join us when you hear that we have started conveying the message openly.”
The Prophet gave Abu Dharr that advice because Abu Dharr openly declared that he was a Muslim in Masjid al-Haram too early due to the excitement originating from his belief; he was saved from the mortal blows of the polytheists by the help of Hazrat Abbas.
The Messenger of Allah continued the secret call like that for three years. During this period, only about thirty people embraced Islam.
This period ended when the following verse was sent down: “And admonish thy nearest kinsmen!” After that, the Prophet started to call his close relatives to Islam and belief in accordance with the divine order. First, he brought Banu Muttalib together and informed them about Islam.
Then, he expanded the circle of the people he called to Islam and addressed Makkans from Safa hill. He called them to believe in the oneness of Allah and to confirm his prophethood. They did not accept his call; besides, Abu Lahab dared to insult him. However, the Prophet continued to call people to believe in the oneness of Islam and to confirm his prophethood without a break with full effort.
God Almighty determined the style of the acts of the Prophet in the duty of spreading and practicing Islam with the verses He sent down.
The verses that were sent down in Makkah had especially two main aims: To make people believe in their minds, hearts and spirits in 1) the existence and oneness of Allah, 2) resurrection, that is, reviving after death...
The Prophet concentrated on these two main aims and worked hard to realize them. He called people to believe in the existence and oneness of Allah and he told them that they would resurrect after death and that a new life would start after the grave.
Apart from those mentioned above, the Prophet had some other issues to settle. However, those were the most important ones. Unless they were settled and unless these two fundamental issues were accepted by the people in their minds, hearts and spirits, it was not possible to settle the other social issues. As a matter of fact, he started to settle the other issues one by one after that and became successful.
As a result of the commands he received from Allah, the Prophet used all of his energy to establish the fundamental understanding that was missing in the structure of the community, that is, to call people to believe in Allah and to obey Him absolutely. It was impossible to make the truth settle in the hearts of the people unless the belief of polytheism was eliminated from the minds of the people. The cause of Islam would not be successful when the foundations were not sound.
Therefore, the Messenger of Allah addressed the noblest feelings of the humanity and their sense of ethics, teaching them that the only Creator and Owner of this universe was Allah. He showed them that there was no power to obey and to surrender except His will. When he conveyed this message to the people, he did not feel the need to make some concessions or to depend on some dominant powers. He presented the belief of “oneness” to humanity directly. He addressed them as follows: “Say ‘La ilaha illallah’ (There is no god but Allah) and be saved.”
Naturally, this call of the Messenger of Allah was not liked and approved by the strong, rich and influential people that dominated the community. They did not want to abandon the illegitimate pleasures of the world that were like honey that was seemingly sweet but spiritually poisonous. Obviously, they wanted to keep their way of life in order to protect their worldly interests. Therefore, they started to oppose the Prophet.
At first, they tried isolating the Prophet from the community, leaving him alone, ignoring what he was telling them and making fun of him. However, the circle of the believers that was around him and the great truth was expanding day by day. They panicked when they saw it. This time, they changed their method. They started counter propaganda. They dared to slander him. They called him a “magician, soothsayer and poet”. However, none of them was effective. They saw that the number of the believers was increasing despite their slanders and accusations.
This time, they started open aggressive acts. They prevented the Messenger of Allah and Muslims from performing prayers in the Kaaba; they threw dirty things on them; they threw thorns on the places where they will sit and on the ways that they used. They persecuted the weak, poor and lonely Muslims by oppressing and torturing them. Some of them died due to their tortures and became martyrs.
It was difficult to put up with this situation. Besides, the number of the Muslims was very few and they were weak. Therefore, they could not oppose the tortures and insults. Such a situation could have destroyed them.
Despite all of those difficulties and unfavorable conditions, the Messenger of Allah continued to convey the message of the religion of Islam without a break. He was also exposed to the tortures and insults of the polytheists like the other Muslims. However, he showed patience in accordance with the command he received from Allah and never gave up conveying the message of Islam.
God Almighty always advised Muslims who were exposed to all kinds of tortures, oppression and insults to be patient through the verses that He sent. For instance, one of the chapters that were sent down first is the chapter of al-Asr. In this chapter, “those who teach one another the truth and patience” are praised.
Sometimes, God Almighty ordered and advised the Prophet to be patient directly: “So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith.”
In another verse, the Prophet is addressed as follows:
“Therefore do thou hold Patience― a Patience of beautiful (contentment).”
Due to those commands, the Prophet did not retaliate against the unjust treatment he received in the period of Makkah and he ordered and advised believers not to act impulsively and without thinking against the tortures they were exposed to and not to react physically. An obvious example for this situation is the advice he gave to the family of Yasir.
One day, the family of Yasir was exposed to tortures altogether. When the Prophet saw them, he said to them, “Show patience, O family of Yasir! Your reward is Paradise.” Once, Habbab b. Arat (may Allah be pleased with him), who had great difficulty in putting up with the tortures he was exposed to, complained to the Prophet; the Prophet said to him,
“Among the nations before you a believing man would be put in a ditch that was dug for him, and a saw would be put over his head and he would be cut into two pieces; yet that torture would not make him give up his religion. His body would be combed with iron combs that would remove his flesh from the bones and nerves, yet that would not make him abandon his religion. By Allah, this religion will prevail till a traveler from Sana (in Yemen) to Hadramaut will fear none but Allah, or a wolf as regards his sheep, but you (people) are hasty!”
During the second pledge of Aqaba, when one of the Muslims of Madinah said, “O Messenger of Allah! If you wish, we will draw our swords tomorrow and attack the people in Mina.”, the Prophet said, “No! We were not ordered to act like that.”
As it is seen, the greatest weapon of Muslims in the period of Makkah was “patience” despite everything. As a matter of fact, the positive results of the patience appeared in a short time. A positive atmosphere in favor of Muslims formed. Thanks to this positive atmosphere, some people became Muslims. Hazrat Hamza became a Muslim like that.
One day, Hazrat Hamza heard that Abu Jahl and some polytheists insulted the Prophet. He got very furious and went directly to Abu Jahl, who was sitting with a group of people near the Kaaba. He hit Abu Jahl’s head with his bow and said, “Did you curse and insult him? I am in his religion, too. I say what he says. If you have the courage, do what you have done to him to me!” Then, he went over to the Prophet and embraced Islam.
At a certain time, the polytheists increased their oppression and persecution so much that the Prophet had to look for a place in Makkah to worship easily and to spread Islam freely. He used the house of Arkam b. Abi’l-Arkam as a center and continued to spread his cause there. Many people became Muslims there.
When the notables of polytheists saw that the Prophet did not give up conveying the message of Islam despite all what they had done, they wanted to settle the issue through Abu Talib, the Prophet’s uncle. They said to him, “O Abu Talib! Either make your nephew give up his cause and speaking ill of our gods or do not stand between us and him!” When Abu Talib went to the Prophet to tell him about what the polytheists said, the Prophet said,
“O uncle! By Allah, if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left in return for my giving up this cause, I would not give it up. Either Allah spreads it all over the world and my duty ends, or I will die in this way!”
The polytheists understood that they would not be able to make the Prophet give up his cause through threats, oppression and persecution. They changed their methods again. They offered goods, property, wealth, rank and leadership to the Prophet. However, they saw that the Prophet did not heed any of them and continued to spread Islam in the same way.
We had stated that the Messenger of Allah and Muslims showed patience against the persecutions, insults, tortures and assassinations of the polytheists. However, there was a limit for the patience, too. The persecutions and tortures that were inflicted upon Muslims had reached the limit. Therefore, the Messenger of Allah advised them to migrate to Abyssinia. He said, “Go to Abyssinia. There is a just ruler there. Nobody is persecuted there. It is a land of justice and honesty. Stay there until Allah creates a way out of this situation!”
Thereupon, the Muslims migrated to Abyssinia in two groups in order to practice and spread their religion. In this phase, as usual, the Prophet gave importance to quality rather than quantity, in other words, to obtain qualified and influential people. His prayer, “O Allah! Strengthen this religion with Umar Ibn Khattab or Amr b. Hisham [Abu Jahl]” is an obvious example for it.
Both Umar Ibn Khattab and Abu Jahl were among the notables of the community and both were among the most severe enemies of Islam and the most ardent opposers of the Prophet. If one of them embraced Islam, most of the barriers in front of Islam would be eliminated. As a matter of fact, a short time after the Prophet’ prayer, Hazrat Umar became a Muslim; thus, Islam became known and got strength. The polytheists had to loosen some of the persecutions and tortures against Muslims. Muslims did not feel obliged to hide and to perform prayers in fear and secretly.
After a while, the polytheists used the death of Abu Talib, the Prophet’s uncle, who protected him, as an opportunity. They increased their persecution. The Messenger of Allah was in a very difficult situation due to the activities against him. He rarely left his house. Thus, he went to Taif in order to find a more secure place to spread the religion of Islam. However, he could not find a suitable environment in Taif despite his efforts. The people of Taif did not accept his call; what is more, they stoned him, harming his body. However, the Prophet, who was sent as a mercy for all creatures, did not curse them; instead, he prayed as follows: “I want from my Lord to create descendants who will serve Islam from them.”
Another important activity of the Prophet in Makkah in the first years of Islam was to meet secretly the tribes that came to Makkah for hajj, to read the Quran to them and to inform them about the principles of Islam. The Qurayshi polytheists followed him when he was visiting the tribes and tried to prevent the tribes from listening to him by slanders and accusations.
However, their efforts did not turn out to be successful. The cause of the Prophet that expanded through conquering the hearts spread outside Makkah and started to shine in the horizon of Madinah.
Thanks to Hijrah, a new era started for Muslims.

Of the provisions for women in Hajj
Rulers of women during Hajj answered by Muhammad Ali from UK. These are some of the questions. We ask God to benefit from it who wrote it, published it, and distributed it among his Muslim and Muslim brothers and sisters. Trustworthy.
Q 1: How does a menstruating woman pray the two rak'ahs of Ihram, and is it permissible for a menstruating woman to repeat the verses of the Wise Remembrance in her secret or not?
Answer: First: We should know that the state of ihram has no connection, because it was not reported from the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - that he prescribed for his ummah a prayer for ihram, not by saying, by deed or by his approval. Second: This menstruating woman who menstruated before she entered ihraam can enter ihraam while she is menstruating because the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - ordered Asma bint Umais, the wife of Abu Bakr - may God be pleased with him and her - when she was breathed in Dhul-Hulayfah, he ordered her to wash in a robe and be forbidden, and so is the same And she remains on her Ihram until she becomes pure, then roams the house and seeks. As for his saying in the question: Can she read the Qur’an? Yes, a menstruating woman has the right to read the Qur’an when needed or in interest. Either without need or interest, but she wants to read it as a devotion and draw closer to God, so do not read it well
Q2: A woman traveled to Hajj and her monthly period came five days ago from the date of her travel and after she reached the meeqaat she washed and performed the Ihram and she did not purify her from the habit and when she arrived to Makkah she remained outside the Haram and did not do any of the rituals of Hajj or Umrah and she stayed for two days in Mina and then purified and washed She performed all the rituals of Umrah while she was pure, then the blood returned to her while she was during the ritual circumambulation of the Hajj.
Answer: The ruling on this is that the blood that fell on her during the circumambulation of the prayer if it is the blood of the menstrual cycle that you know by its nature and pains, then the tawaaf al-fadhah is not valid, and it is obligatory for her to return to Makkah to perform the circumambulation of the fadah, so she is forbidden to perform the umrah from the meeqaat and perform the umrah with the tawaaf and sa'i and shorten it, then the tawaaf al-fadha This blood is not the normal menstrual blood known, but rather it arose from the intensity of crowding, splendor, or the like. Her circumambulation is valid for those who do not require purity for circumambulation. If she cannot return to the first issue so that she is in a distant country, then her Hajj is valid, because she cannot do more than she did.
Q 3: A woman in ihraam came for an umrah, and after arriving in Makkah she had a menstrual period, and her Muharram had to travel immediately, and she had no one in Makkah. What is the ruling
Answer: She travels with him and stays on her ihram, then she returns when she becomes pure, and this if she is in the kingdom, it will not be easy to return and does not need fatigue, nor to a passport and the like, but if she is a foreigner and it is difficult for her to return, then she takes a reservation and circumambulates and seeks and shortens and finishes her Umrah in the same travel, her circumambulation at that time Has become a necessity and necessity permits the forbidden.
Q4: What is the ruling on a Muslim woman who menstruated during the days of her Hajj, will that Hajj be sufficient for her?
Answer: This cannot be answered until it is known when a menstrual period is due, because some of the acts of Hajj do not prevent menstruation from it and some of them prevent it from it, so tawaf can not circumambulate unless it is pure and other rituals can be done with menstruation.

Q5: The questioner says: I performed the Hajj last year and performed all the rituals of Hajj, except for the Tawaf al-Fadha and the Farewell Tawaf, where a legal excuse prevented me from them, so I went back to my home in Madinah, provided that I return one day for the farewell tawaf and the farewell tawaaf, with my ignorance of matters of religion. I dissolved from everything and did everything that is forbidden during Ihram, and I asked about my returning to the raft, and it was told to me that it is not valid for you to do tawaaf, because it has been corrupted, and you have to do the habit, i.e., repeat Hajj again next year with the slaughter of a cow or a camel. Is this correct? Is there another solution? what is it? Was Hajj spoiled? Do I have to return it? Please advise me on what to do God bless you .
Answer: This is also from the calamity that comes from the fatwa without knowledge. In this case, you must return to Makkah and perform the farewell tawaaf only. As for the farewell tawaaf, you do not have to do the farewell tawaaf as long as you were menstruating when leaving Makkah, because the menstruating woman does not have to do the farewell tawaaf, according to the hadith of Ibn Abbas - may God be pleased with them -: “People commanded that it be Their pledge to the house is that it was lightened for the menstruating woman, ”and in the narration of Labi Dawood:“ That the last of their covenant is with the Tawaf House. ” And because the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - when he told that Safiye did the tawaaf al-fada, he said: “So be alienated.” This indicates that the farewell circumambulation is waived for the menstruating woman. And when she dissolved from everything ignorant, this will harm you, because the ignorant person who does any of the forbidden acts of Ihram has nothing on him because God Almighty says: ((Our Lord, do not blame us if we forget or sin)) God Almighty said: ((You have done)). And saying: ((You have no blame for what you sinned, but what your hearts deliberately)). So all the prohibitions that God Almighty forbids for the forbidden if he did it by ignorance, forgetfulness, or coercion, then he does not have to do anything, but when his excuse is removed, he must give up what he wore.
Q6: If a woman in childbirth begins on the day of perfusion and completes the pillars of Hajj except for Tawaf and Sa'i, but she notices that she has been purified in principle after ten days, should she purify herself and do ghusl and perform the remaining pillar, which is the Tawaf of Hajj?
Answer: It is not permissible for her to do ghusl and circumambulate until she is certain of purity, and who understands the question when she said (in principle) that she did not see complete purity, then she must see complete purity. When she becomes pure, she should do ghusl and perform the circumambulation and sa'y, and if she strove before the circumambulation, then there is nothing wrong with the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace. - During Hajj, he was asked about one who sought before performing the circumambulation, and he said: There is nothing wrong with it.
Q 7: A woman was forbidden for Hajj when she was menstruating, and when she arrived at Makkah she went She went to Jeddah when she needed her, and she purified herself in Jeddah, and she bathed and combed her hair, then she completed her Hajj. Is her Hajj valid and does she have to do anything?
Answer: Her Hajj is valid, and she has something on her.

Updates
The reason I am taking a break from blogging is because i dont feel comfortable anymore talking about my life here. I am not such an open person; I prefer keepimg things to myself. It is only him who id talk to and a few bits and bites with other people rarely maybe! Although everything I have blogged about till now, I am cool with it and if i ever feel like somethings worth making a post about and havung it engraved online over here I sure will I guess
Few things have been stuck in my head. One is that in one of my old posts I said that it just feels like we stopped talking and nothing else. Well i dont think it is as simple as it sounds. Because its not just that. Not talking comes with a lot of other situations which are handled way too diffetently. Many of which pierces through my heart and is way too painful to have to accept. But long story short, we are not what we are anymore, atleast not right now. He is not ‘mine’ to call and literally everyone else in his life is technically closer to him and more accessible for him than I am. And God, that makes me feel so jealous.. Its so hard to be okay with this fact. I find myself almost at the verge of questioning life as to what have i done to be at this place but.. It is for Allah’s sake so yes I should leave it to Him and just pray and have patience.
Another thing is that. There is really not much I can do about us.. Other than to wait for him. I really can’t think of something i could possible do for us; even if there is anything, I think there is more to what he should take care of.
BUT, here is what I think i should do. Infact I think it is my responsibility/ duty. I owe it. NOT to him only though but to everyone else who loves me. Definitely my family. And I think also people like my friends and others at uni I will have to encounter on a daily basis.
So let’s come to the point. I think I should thrive to be a better humanbeing. That includes improving on a religious level, improving academically, improving my personality in general. As for friends and colleagues, it is about team work and helping each other out, being there for someone in need if within your capability. As for family, it is letting my parents know that they have raised a good person and so much more. As for him, it is not being any less than what he deserves, what I want him to have in life, of being responsible for whom his kids may call mom one day inshaAllah and.. So much more again! I feel like i should always thrive to get better. This means being hard-working, acquiring more skills, contributing in a positive way around you.
Another thing is that, in one of his blogs he was talking about having problems of directing his blogs towards me, as if he was talking to me. This is something very hard to control and I think no one will understand what he meant more than I will. So to make it easy for both of us, and also to add to that the reasons I put forward as to why Im not so comfortable blogging, I decided to not use tumblr regularly. When we were together, i used to feel the strong -need- to always make sure we maintain communication. As much as communication is a two person thing, I still used to believe that if any one person puts the extra effort and sincerely holds onto every chance of staying in touch, things will be fine. I still believe so. Now, me believing in such an idea does not really mean I fancy it or like it but whatever. Whats inportant to realize over here is that it should not be the case now. We are not together anymore. As much as i want to know every tiny detail about him all the time 24 7; I am not entitled to get all that information anymore. And I should accept it and act like it - whether i like it or not - And like i said, no, i dont like it but yeah.. And the only way I make it easier for myself to accept that is by using tumblr less; not regularly. That way i believe he can blog knowing its uncertain if i am going to read it anytime soon and also I get to realize over and over again, with a heavy heart that things have changed!
Okay so when I was talking about how there’s only so less I think i can do other than to wait, I also had to add to that about how i keep thinking about the past from time to time and it draws a lot, let me repeat, A LOT of emotions. Once again, there is not anything i can do about them and i should pray to Him and leave all these emotions behind and just have Sabr (patience).
Also, today is the first day I am fasting. Yes, like after missing out on 21 days of Ramadan this year and over 4 weeks of not praying. Here i am! So thats why I had to blog. Needed to leave a mark!
Also, this Eid, inshaAllah we might spend it in Makkah. I am looking forward to it!
Finishing the Quran will not be possible I think. I mean its not impossible actually but i dont think i have it in me to do so but inshaAllah lets see. I will keep reciting and giving it my best. One thing i often see is how we often feel like its just these 30 days you get a chance to finish the Quran. Like its now or never typa shit! I mean cmon, Ramadan does end but life goes on. Turn to the next page and keep reciting feom the Quran everyday even after Ramadan. You will finish it eventually. For many of us, we hardly spend enough time reciting if any page at all throughout the year and suring Ramadan wr aim to finish the whole thing -which is not bad though- but what is bad is how IF we arennot able to do so we feel like its the end if the world. Feel like such failures. That is so wrong. Obly people who spend significant amount of their time reciting Quran and finishing it every year might feel bad if specifically during the month of Ramadan they were not able to do so for any reason. Ugh ok enough..
And as for working out, I just worked ou for 2 days so far and I am having all positive vibes in me. InshaAllah I will be able to get very regular at it. The thing with me is this is not new for me. I lose significant amount of weight every vacation. 6 kgs is a minimum! But the thing is that very thought can sometimes make me overconfident! Also another thing is the slow result. From my experience, in the beginning when you start working out you hardly see changes but what is important at this stage is that you go on. Carry on. If you dont see any weught changes, i think it is better to focus on the mental soothing working out brings about. I mean its not all about losing weight. It also cleanses your soul. You get to relax! Its more like at the start, you have the 'stubborn weight’ which doesnt drop but once it DOES, and you carry on, it just keeps dropping way easily. So you just need to hang in there. Working out also teaches patience which i really like and need veing such a perfectionist.
So now to end this post. Good thing i brought the fact about me being a perfectionist up cause this is where i need it. Being a perfectionist, wanting that perfect life. Well, ik this life is not perfect; it is not aupposed to be. But then there is still some sanity you can pray for, you can wish for perfection to an extent. And right now it is the complete opposite of “perfection”. It is like not 'zero’ perfection but more like the scales have moved to the negative markings! And that disturbs me so much..!

INTRODUCING ISLAM TO BEGINNERS, ESPECIALLY TO NON-MUSLIMS
Islam is the religion of the Muslims, a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him (SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam) as the final Prophet of God Almighty (Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala).
In Arabic, Islām means ‘SUBMISSION,' from 'aslama which means to ‘SUBMIT (to the Will of God Almighty),' The word ISLAM in Arabic also means PEACE.
HOW DOES ONE BECOME A MUSLIM?
To become a Muslim, one simply declares the testimony of faith (in Arabic, it is called the Shahadah) with full conviction, in the presence of a witness.
We wish to clarify that the whole matter is very easy, plain and simple, No certificate. No money exchanged, and No water dipping.
The testimony of faith in Arabic is:
اشهدانلاإلهإلااللهواشهدانمحمدالرسولالله
Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illAllah
I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except God Almighty [Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala].
Wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadar Rasul Allah,
and I bear witness that Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon him) is the Messenger of Allah.
FIVE (5) PILLARS OF ISLAM
The Shahadah is the first pillar of Islam and that is what makes one a Muslim. The five (5) pillars of Islam consist of:
The testimony of faith (Shahadah)
2. Five daily prayers (Salat)
3. Giving charity to the needy (Zakat)
4. Fasting the month of Ramadan (Saum)
5. Performing the Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah) once in one’s lifetime, if able to do it.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
Faith is to believe in Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala), His Angels, His Books (including the Holy Torah and the Holy Bible), His Messengers (from Adam to Jesus to Muhammad), the Last Day (Day of Judgement), and to believe in the providence, its good and its perceived harm.
IHSAN
Excellence is to worship Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) as if you see Him, or if you do not see Him, know that He surely sees you.

Whoever seeks a way other than [Islam] complete devotion to God Almighty, it will not be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.

The Life of The Prophet Muhammad: Calling the Tribes to Islam, the Allegiances of Aqaba and Migration to Madinah
A Summary of the Period of Makkah
When the Messenger of Allah migrated to Madinah, the period of thirteen years in Makkah ended. It will be useful to summarize this period, which has an important place in the history of Islamic tabligh (conveying the message), and especially to examine the tabligh of the Prophet in this period.
When the Messenger of Allah was appointed as a prophet in AD 610 by God Almighty, the Arab community of that time was undergoing the darkest and wildest period of history along with the rest of the world. The duty the save the community he lived in and the humanity from the oppression and savagery was given to the Prophet.
God Almighty, who sent him as a prophet, taught him how to act while spreading, living and making others live Islam. The Prophet acted in accordance with those instructions.
It was certain that conveying the message, which aimed to introduce a new system, was not going to be so easy. It was going to be especially difficult in the community of Arabs, who were extremely fanatical and stubborn about their savage customs, living at that time.
The Messenger of Allah, who knew the properties, characteristics, and thoughts of the community he was living in very well, did not start to convey the message as soon as he was appointed; he did not declare his prophethood and the religion of Islam openly. Some time had to pass and some favorable conditions had to occur for it.
The Messenger of Allah started to convey the message of Islam to the people who were closest to him first. He first informed Hazrat Khadija, his wife, about his cause. Hazrat Khadija confirmed his prophethood and became a Muslim. Then, he called Hazrat Ali, who was his relative and had been together with him since he was four or five, to Islam. He embraced Islam, too. After that, he conveyed the message of belief and Islam to some people that he trusted very much outside his family. The most important one among them was Hazrat Abu Bakr. Many people accepted Islam through Hazrat Abu Bakr.
The Prophet himself acted very cautiously during the period of the secret call to Islam; he also urged the first Muslims to act very cautiously. When Abu Dharr al-Ghifari embraced Islam, the Prophet gave him this advice:
“O Abu Dharr! Now keep it a secret and return to your homeland! Come and join us when you hear that we have started conveying the message openly.”
The Prophet gave Abu Dharr that advice because Abu Dharr openly declared that he was a Muslim in Masjid al-Haram too early due to the excitement originating from his belief; he was saved from the mortal blows of the polytheists by the help of Hazrat Abbas.
The Messenger of Allah continued the secret call like that for three years. During this period, only about thirty people embraced Islam.
This period ended when the following verse was sent down: “And admonish thy nearest kinsmen!” (3) After that, the Prophet started to call his close relatives to Islam and belief in accordance with the divine order. First, he brought Banu Muttalib together and informed them about Islam.
Then, he expanded the circle of the people he called to Islam and addressed Makkans from Safa hill. He called them to believe in the oneness of Allah and to confirm his prophethood. They did not accept his call; besides, Abu Lahab dared to insult him. However, the Prophet continued to call people to believe in the oneness of Islam and to confirm his prophethood without a break with full effort.
God Almighty determined the style of the acts of the Prophet in the duty of spreading and practicing Islam with the verses He sent down.
The verses that were sent down in Makkah had especially two main aims: To make people believe in their minds, hearts and spirits in 1) the existence and oneness of Allah, 2) resurrection, that is, reviving after death...
The Prophet concentrated on these two main aims and worked hard to realize them. He called people to believe in the existence and oneness of Allah and he told them that they would resurrect after death and that a new life would start after the grave.
Apart from those mentioned above, the Prophet had some other issues to settle. However, those were the most important ones. Unless they were settled and unless these two fundamental issues were accepted by the people in their minds, hearts, and spirits, it was not possible to settle the other social issues. As a matter of fact, he started to settle the other issues one by one after that and became successful.
As a result of the commands he received from Allah, the Prophet used all of his energy to establish the fundamental understanding that was missing in the structure of the community, that is, to call people to believe in Allah and to obey Him absolutely. It was impossible to make the truth settle in the hearts of the people unless the belief of polytheism was eliminated from the minds of the people. The cause of Islam would not be successful when the foundations were not sound.
Therefore, the Messenger of Allah addressed the noblest feelings of humanity and their sense of ethics, teaching them that the only Creator and Owner of this universe was Allah. He showed them that there was no power to obey and to surrender except His will. When he conveyed this message to the people, he did not feel the need to make some concessions or to depend on some dominant powers. He presented the belief of “oneness” to humanity directly. He addressed them as follows: “Say ‘La ilaha illallah’ (There is no god but Allah) and be saved.”
Naturally, this call of the Messenger of Allah was not liked and approved by the strong, rich and influential people that dominated the community. They did not want to abandon the illegitimate pleasures of the world that were like honey that was seemingly sweet but spiritually poisonous. Obviously, they wanted to keep their way of life in order to protect their worldly interests. Therefore, they started to oppose the Prophet.
At first, they tried isolating the Prophet from the community, leaving him alone, ignoring what he was telling them and making fun of him. However, the circle of the believers that was around him and the great truth was expanding day by day. They panicked when they saw it. This time, they changed their method. They started counter-propaganda. They dared to slander him. They called him a “magician, soothsayer and poet”. However, none of them was effective. They saw that the number of believers was increasing despite their slanders and accusations.
This time, they started open aggressive acts. They prevented the Messenger of Allah and Muslims from performing prayers in the Kaaba; they threw dirty things on them; they threw thorns on the places where they will sit and on the ways that they used. They persecuted the weak, poor and lonely Muslims by oppressing and torturing them. Some of them died due to their tortures and became martyrs.
It was difficult to put up with this situation. Besides, the number of Muslims was very few and they were weak. Therefore, they could not oppose the tortures and insults. Such a situation could have destroyed them.
Despite all of those difficulties and unfavorable conditions, the Messenger of Allah continued to convey the message of the religion of Islam without a break. He was also exposed to the tortures and insults of the polytheists like the other Muslims. However, he showed patience in accordance with the command he received from Allah and never gave up conveying the message of Islam.
God Almighty always advised Muslims who were exposed to all kinds of tortures, oppression, and insults to be patient through the verses that He sent. For instance, one of the chapters that were sent down first is the chapter of al-Asr. In this chapter, “those who teach one another the truth and patience” are praised.
Sometimes, God Almighty ordered and advised the Prophet to be patient directly: “So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith.”
In another verse, the Prophet is addressed as follows:
“Therefore do thou hold Patience― a Patience of beautiful (contentment).”
Due to those commands, the Prophet did not retaliate against the unjust treatment he received in the period of Makkah and he ordered and advised believers not to act impulsively and without thinking against the tortures they were exposed to and not to react physically. An obvious example of this situation is the advice he gave to the family of Yasir.
One day, the family of Yasir was exposed to tortures altogether. When the Prophet saw them, he said to them, “Show patience, O family of Yasir! Your reward is Paradise.” Once, Habbab b. Arat (may Allah be pleased with him), who had great difficulty in putting up with the tortures he was exposed to, complained to the Prophet; the Prophet said to him,
“Among the nations, before you, a believing man would be put in a ditch that was dug for him, and a saw would be put over his head and he would be cut into two pieces; yet that torture would not make him give up his religion. His body would be combed with iron combs that would remove his flesh from the bones and nerves, yet that would not make him abandon his religion. By Allah, this religion will prevail till a traveler from Sana (in Yemen) to Hadramaut will fear none but Allah or a wolf as regards his sheep, but you (people) are hasty!”
During the second pledge of Aqaba, when one of the Muslims of Madinah said, “O Messenger of Allah! If you wish, we will draw our swords tomorrow and attack the people in Mina.”, the Prophet said, “No! We were not ordered to act like that.”
As it is seen, the greatest weapon of Muslims in the period of Makkah was “patience” despite everything. As a matter of fact, the positive results of the patience appeared in a short time. A positive atmosphere in favor of Muslims formed. Thanks to this positive atmosphere, some people became Muslims. Hazrat Hamza became a Muslim like that.
One day, Hazrat Hamza heard that Abu Jahl and some polytheists insulted the Prophet. He got very furious and went directly to Abu Jahl, who was sitting with a group of people near the Kaaba. He hit Abu Jahl’s head with his bow and said, “Did you curse and insult him? I am in his religion, too. I say what he says. If you have the courage, do what you have done to him to me!” Then, he went over to the Prophet and embraced Islam.
At a certain time, the polytheists increased their oppression and persecution so much that the Prophet had to look for a place in Makkah to worship easily and to spread Islam freely. He used the house of Arkam b. Abi’l-Arkam as a center and continued to spread his cause there. Many people became Muslims there.
When the notables of polytheists saw that the Prophet did not give up conveying the message of Islam despite all that they had done, they wanted to settle the issue through Abu Talib, the Prophet’s uncle. They said to him, “O Abu Talib! Either make your nephew give up his cause and speaking ill of our gods or do not stand between us and him!” When Abu Talib went to the Prophet to tell him about what the polytheists said, the Prophet said,
“O, uncle! By Allah, if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left in return for my giving up this cause, I would not give it up. Either Allah spreads it all over the world and my duty ends, or I will die in this way!”
The polytheists understood that they would not be able to make the Prophet give up his cause through threats, oppression, and persecution. They changed their methods again. They offered goods, property, wealth, rank and leadership to the Prophet. However, they saw that the Prophet did not heed any of them and continued to spread Islam in the same way.
We had stated that the Messenger of Allah and Muslims showed patience against the persecutions, insults, tortures, and assassinations of the polytheists. However, there was a limit for patience, too. The persecutions and tortures that were inflicted upon Muslims had reached the limit. Therefore, the Messenger of Allah advised them to migrate to Abyssinia. He said, “Go to Abyssinia. There is a just ruler there. Nobody is persecuted there. It is a land of justice and honesty. Stay there until Allah creates a way out of this situation!”
Thereupon, the Muslims migrated to Abyssinia in two groups in order to practice and spread their religion. In this phase, as usual, the Prophet gave importance to quality rather than quantity, in other words, to obtain qualified and influential people. His prayer, “O Allah! Strengthen this religion with Umar Ibn Khattab or Amr b. Hisham [Abu Jahl]” is an obvious example of it.
Both Umar Ibn Khattab and Abu Jahl were among the notables of the community and both were among the most severe enemies of Islam and the most ardent opposers of the Prophet. If one of them embraced Islam, most of the barriers in front of Islam would be eliminated. As a matter of fact, a short time after the Prophet’s prayer, Hazrat Umar became a Muslim; thus, Islam became known and got strength. The polytheists had to loosen some of the persecutions and tortures against Muslims. Muslims did not feel obliged to hide and to perform prayers in fear and secretly.
After a while, the polytheists used the death of Abu Talib, the Prophet’s uncle, who protected him, as an opportunity. They increased their persecution. The Messenger of Allah was in a very difficult situation due to the activities against him. He rarely left his house. Thus, he went to Taif in order to find a more secure place to spread the religion of Islam. However, he could not find a suitable environment in Taif despite his efforts. The people of Taif did not accept his call; what is more, they stoned him, harming his body. However, the Prophet, who was sent as a mercy for all creatures, did not curse them; instead, he prayed as follows: “I want from my Lord to create descendants who will serve Islam from them.”
Another important activity of the Prophet in Makkah in the first years of Islam was to meet secretly the tribes that came to Makkah for hajj, to read the Quran to them and to inform them about the principles of Islam. The Qurayshi polytheists followed him when he was visiting the tribes and tried to prevent the tribes from listening to him by slanders and accusations.
However, their efforts did not turn out to be successful. The cause of the Prophet that expanded through conquering the hearts spread outside Makkah and started to shine on the horizon of Madinah.
